Day 3 | Backpacking Europe | Sofia, Bulgaria

We spent 4 days in Bulgaria - and had an amazing time there. On our first day, we joined a free walking tour around the city of Sofia to take in the sights and learn about the history of the city and country.
We had an amazing authentic Bulgarian lunch of traditional sausages with porcini, stuffed peppers with veal meat and roast lamb at Izbata Tavern.
After lunch, we continued exploring the city on our own, and walked a total of over 16km (23,455 steps) that day.
