This song will never be the same for me after watching the video of her singing it at an Austin hospice for a teen fan a few years ago (it's on youtube if you want to watch). The girl was fighting cancer and couldn't make it to her show but she stopped by and sang along with her. The love and sadness of it all is just overwhelming. I was a fan before but this put Florence up there in my book.

I intend to hear more of her stuff but I know about a dozen songs of hers and they are all good. Florence +the Machine are listed as Indie Rock on Wikipedia but I've heard them described as Baroque Pop, don't ask me what exactly that is though.

The chord changes at 5:04 really come out of no where in the best way possible. Its a solid song before that, but that's a little extra spice you don't expect. Kind of wish they didn't just reserve that for the end.

When this album came out, I picked it up on a whim. I through it on in the car during a lengthy drive. The seasons had just changed from winter to spring, the snow was on its last leg of melting and I'd just got out of a bad relationship. This song could not have fit that moment any better! Rejoice!
