I learned how to paint clouds from watching you. It has developed my perception of depth, expanded my pallet of hues and use of mediums based on the end result I'm going for. Thank you so much for sharing your gifts. You are the best art teacher I never had 😊
Fantastic information and skills, thank you for sharing Tim! I’ve not tried glazing yet and my next painting happens to be a skyscape so this is perfect timing for me. I’ll definitely be looking through your other videos.
Wow. Just love this. I've been trying to use glazing and you have inspired me to jump up and go to my studio. Wonderful tips and again reminding me to use a soft big brush to soften edges. Thanks Tim. 😃 🙂 😺
Thank you! Best teaching of glazing. Do you ever critique artists work? Of course , being paid for your time. sometimes it’s frustrating that I’m not sure where I went wrong.
Tim, if you mentioned the type of brush used to apply the thin paint I didn't catch it. Did you use a soft synthetic/sable brush or natural bristle brush?
Thank you for this. I have a "cloud problem" in a painting I'm trying to finish now. This video came along just in time.
Have a wonderful day!
Awesome! Thank you!

Thank you for the great video. What kind of white did you use for the lights? Titanium white would be ok?
TItanium of Flake white would work well
great thankyou
Thank you!

I use a natural bristle, sable and synthetic will also work. The big thing is that the bristles are soft.
I wonder how some use of interference would make these clouds pop off the canvas.....
Can you do a tutorial with some please?
That sounds like a cool idea!
