Randy was the guitarist for The Blizzard Band, even though admittedly the management hijacked the project, but it all went so fast, the 2 guys got kicked out and the 3rd dying before he had tge chance to quit (and he wanted to, that's for sure). Strictly speaking Jake was Ozzy's 1st guitarist for his 1st post-Blizzard Band fake solo album. Apple and pear. Randy was the best Blizzard guitarist. Jake was the most complete "Ozzy" guitarist.

Unfortunately we never got to hear what a Randy project outside of Ozzy's band would have sounded like, Jake went on to form Badlands and released 3 albums that blow away anything that Ozzy has done post Jake so bad that's it's kind of cold hearted to even compare them. It has also been insinuated by more than one "music industry insider" that Sharon called in every favor she could to make sure that all three of those records received almost zero push to radio and disappeared almost immediately. I think most anybody who remember them would say the same thing. For anyone who hasn't, what are you waiting for? Think Led Zeppelin, meets Bad Company, meets Humble Pie. Yes. They were that good. Badlands was one of, if not the most overlooked hard rock bands to ever exist.

The Moo was correct, that in the video is a charvel. His original white strat is actually a fender as you mentioned, but he’s not playing it in this clip. That old one is beat to shit and basically unplayable, as he says often. So it is evident that every guitar he plays on stage now is a Charvel reissue, he owns many. You can buy one for $3,000
I think the original was was a Fender Strat hardtail, which was painted in Charvel colors and perhaps modified with a humbucker. He liked the sound of the hardtail better than tremolo bar versions of the Strat. Then Charvel made the Jake E Lee signature models, which I think he's playing here, because it looks like it has a mahogany /ebony fingerboard neck, and his signatures apparently have that, instead of maple / rosewood. Same set up, probably. I also wonder about the way he bends the notes, that must be hard on necks.

I’m a huge Jake fan. Saw him in Memphis back in 1984-85 with Ozzy. I couldn’t figure out what’s different with him but now I figured it out. He doesn’t smile much anymore and almost seems like he isn’t happy playing anymore. I’ve numerous other videos now and it’s the same. He use to smile and play the crowd, not much anymore. What an awesome talent for sure though
I was there in Sweden at the "Sweden Rock Festival" in 2013 for the very first time, followed by 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and last year too for sure, so I unfortunately I missed this concert, i.e. the whole festival from 2014. But I couldn't make it due a new job.., well..., I still have this job and now we all hope, that's to say pray for next year in Sverige!! \m/\m/

There is an interview with Jake on Eddie Trunks show where Jake clearly states that Sharon (AKA Bitch From Hell) told him that he either signed away his rights to any claim to having written any songs on BATM or he was fired on the spot. Jake was my favorite OZZY guitarist mainly because I was at the front of the stage when i seen OZZY and many more concerts. I was in the USAF stationed in Woodbridge England and wren you go to a concert at the Gaumont Theater in Ipswich England they only sold beer on the stage floor level so you by the cheapest ticket ( around 6 quid ) and go buy a beer and instead of going to the lever you paid for you would walk to the front of the stage and rest your elbows on the stage and watch great concerts like OZZY,DIO,SAXON, IRON MAIDEN,KISS ( without Makeup), THIN LIZZY,Gary Moore,and so many others. I got great pictures because they didn’t care if you had cameras but after I got out of the USAF I quit going to concerts because I couldn’t get that same experience of being that close to the stage anymore and I was spoiled from that experience and I have ringing in my ears to this day from those concerts ( 1982 - 1984 ). I wasn’t the only person that would buy beers and head to the front of the stage so there’s many many more that’s did the old beer buying deal and they know what I’m talking about.

That outro solo is always different, my hand cramps halfway through the tune. Such powerfully written riffs and solos!
The album version of that outro solo may be the greatest single example of rock guitar that had ever been recorded.
The guitar work in Lay it Down by Ratt is also mind blowing.
