@@ericirwin413 word is that he was inspired by Django Reinhardt who similarly lost the use of his fingers through an accident but that didn't stop him. he just dropped tuning to make it easier to fret and put melted plastic caps on his nubbins and the signature tone of Black Sabbath was born.

I remember the first Black Sabbath album . I literally ran home to play it. I was hooked from then on. They had a sound unique to them and no band has ever sounded like it. I was a beginner guitarist way back then and I worked hard at learning their music the best I could. Inspired me to go on to professional gigging. They are contagious.
I had the honor of seeing Sabbath back in the 1970's. Damn what a show. So much energy... Really good music and nonstop energy. They would finish a song, then lauch right into the next one. They got the audience up on their feet and kept us there. Rock hard baby...... Loved it so much.............
Ya, it’s actually the opposite. Judgment Day is in a helluva lot of his songs. And he has always called out the corrupt wankers of the world. It’s the main message. Clean up your act or rot in hell. Funny how people could possibly misconstrue it. Mr. Crowley, same deal. He sure as hell isn’t promoting the man’s insane ways. He’s condemning them.
Tony, Bill and Ozzy along with Gezzer bring a lot to the table. I think Tony is amongst the best Riff composers ever. Rick Wakeman rated Black Sabbath as seriously good musicians. That is the from a virtuoso if there Ever was one.
Listen to Geezer just killing it. He never leaves anything on the table. Bass players like him and Entwistle made it possible for guitar players like Tony and Pete to do what they do. Underrated.
All the haters are asswipes who are miserable themselves and want others to feel the same! Useless comments etc are not building blocks of society but weigh us all tdown with their sick and twisted attitudes!! Rock on Ozzy!! War Pigs was your best!
The Who is my favorite band. I’ve seen them 5 times and I’m 28 but sabbath can rock. I hope at 58 or how ever old he is in this I can jump around happy like ozzy
It's almost akin to giving something to someone with Alzheimer's that makes them remember something. You know? It's like in that moment, they're completely the same person they've always been.
Never seen Ozzy at his old age so pumped being back in England. He teared a couple of times. About 60,000 knew all words. So he teared seeing young and old singing along. I'll never forget owd gits enthusiasm!
Went to Ozz Fest in Davore in 2000 or 2001 and Ozzy was amazing, even after all these years. The first time I saw Black Sabbath was 1969 or 1970, and here I am pushing 70 still loving this.
Thank goodness there’s no one like him because we have him. Anyone who copies him would not be as good. I was watching The Rolling Stones and saw Mick making his moves and it made me realize my male friends back then were trying to imitate him. Then watch closer and a John Lennon is in the audience dancing. I have never seen him dance before that.
The joy for music and his fans and the stage presence alone make Ozzy easily one of the greatest frontmans of ALL TIME! And there's that crazy factor that makes him an absolute legend!! That was a joy to watch, especially with all those heavy metal legends on the stage as well.
The music that is played today will fade away like a fart in the wind. The bands and the music from the 60s and 70s will go on forever. It will never be the same and I'm so glad I was a part of it. I seen black Sabbath with van Halen in the 70s at the Rose garden in Portland Oregon a concert I will never forget. That is what I can remember of it, the 70s were a drug filled party 24/7. I would do anything to bring back those days of my youth. Rock On!!
How fuckin crazy is it that they have been together since '68? Ozzy is 67 and still so full of energy. I hope i see them in September for their last tour
I always thought that about certain bands, then I realized these huge crowds are festivals. I'm so dumb. I wonder if Michael Jackson in Budapest was just him 🤔 check that out.
Will be 54 years old on December 7th of this year and this song is stapled into brain till the day I die. John is like a kid waking up on Christmas Day, he is the same on stage as he was back then and when he says he loves you all he means it
Sabbath is the absolute best show ive ever been too. Blessed enough to have seen them when they were all alive. Also seen ozzy solo. And then again with black label as the band right after black labels set. Played like 3.5 hrs in a row in 90 degree humid ass heat like animals. Also how relavant is war pigs through the years. These politicians still hide themselves away while using us people as pawns. What a fucking masterpiece of a song.
It’s actually quite common that metal drummers have jazz fusion backgrounds. An example would be the late Gar Samuelson, he was a jazz drummer before joining Megadeth.

Ozzy is a very humble person! You can tell he didn't grow up rich or anyting. You got to love him!
Ozzy is a legend but I dunno if I’d call him humble
a kid who survived
I always enjoy seeing Ozzy perform with Black Sabbath. It's said he's happiest when he's on stage performing and I believe it. He's having an awesomely good time.
Unfortunately he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. It is a terrible disease. Lost my father to it almost 2 years ago. 😔
He still sounds awesome! He never lost his voice like some of the old time rockers! He’s a legend! Best voice in rock in my opinion. I’ve seen him live many times & he rocks every time! Respect ✊🤘
Please never forget RJD, 😢RIP 😎🤘
Tony Iommi still for me is metals guitarist!! I just love his rifts. The fact he has no fingertips and still plays like a dream 🤘🎵🎸
That proves right their he didn't let a work accident and the loss of his fingertips keep him playing his electric guitar he just added plastic fingertips and still continues to play guitar!!
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
The King of metal. This song is almost 50yrs old
@@ericirwin413 word is that he was inspired by Django Reinhardt who similarly lost the use of his fingers through an accident but that didn't stop him. he just dropped tuning to make it easier to fret and put melted plastic caps on his nubbins and the signature tone of Black Sabbath was born.
I agree... I love Eddie VH but in my opinion this is almost better. Apples and oranges really but still... this is so wicked.
There is only one Sabbath drummer, and that’s Bill, the greatest underrated drummer of all time.
Shit hot !! That era they only talk about Moon v Bonham. Well throw Bill Ward right up there with them.
Bill Ward !!!@
@Caped Critique Vinny appice for mob rules fantastic
how are you underrated if you are the original drummer of Black Sabbath? With a name like Bill Ward? Please explain that ridiculous comment......
totally agree
4:31 Look at that smile from Tony. Man, i love these guys❤️
I think Tony smiled because Ozzy mooned the crowd a second or two earlier. LOL.. 😊
This was the beginning of heavy metal! Not the others I hear, without naming names. This is still my favorite Black Sabbath song. That won't change.
Led Zeppelin was the beginning of pop rock. 😂 Metal my ass. Never liked that garbage. Overrated. Sabbath 💩 s on them.
Led Zeppelin was the beginning of pop rock. 😂 Sabbath 💩 on them.
The year is 2120. People of all ages are still rocking out to one of the greatest Rock Bands ever. This will never DIE!!!!
That part when Ozzy says "I love you all" is just epic.
ik i love it
+Candy Gomez at 8:16
jajajaja after he put her pants down
+Brian Reddington I saw the same concert, I agree it was great. I think they're still using Tommy for the soul reason that Bill's skill isn't there anymore. In 1970, I'd say he was amazing, but his technical performance just isn't the best anymore.
linda você .
I was getting stoned and listening to this when I was 15. Still grooving it at 60.
rock on man
here too!
Try 74!
""" WHERE HAVE ALL THE GOOD TIMES GONE """ ??????????????????? I'm 53 been to over 350 concerts, I'm "" ITCHING """" last concert was Dec 17th ? 2019.. I need to be around 400,000 BUDS out just to hear AWESOME MUSIC !

What an appropriate song for the times we live in. The war pigs are still at it!
I think when Ozzy says "I can't hear you" he means it literally
doomheaad lol
+doomheaad Maybe he left his hearing aids at home. I love that old geezer...
Ozzy: Louder!

doomheaad lol yea 150 watts makes my ears ring.imagine that concert
A mind blowing performance by every musician on stage.
Absolutely Phenomenal.
I always get goosebumps when this song finishes the intro and starts and Ozzy releases the first sound of his vocals on the main theme
I had the honor of seeing Sabbath back in the 1970's. Damn what a show. So much energy... Really good music and nonstop energy. They would finish a song, then lauch right into the next one. They got the audience up on their feet and kept us there. Rock hard baby...... Loved it so much.............
The grandpa of heavy metal, love it! This will live forever as long as there are human. Neve got tired of listening to this!
Ozzy can barely even walk and talk now but he can still sing as good as he did 20 years ago.
He talks fine and doing well on The Osborne's Podcast
Tony Iomi. Underrated guitar genius. Not that his stuff is hard to play but the magic is in how unique his sound is
Can you really call him underrated when it is basically universally agreed upon that he is the greatest guitar riff factory of all time?
Ffs stop it, he is not underrated at all, everyone knows how good he is
He is My Favorite Guitarist ..
His Riffs are Killer
Tommi iommi top 5 guitar player of all times for me.
I agree but this song is so much about the bass and drums too. Incredible song
I love how looks so happy when he’s performing 😆
love you

@@mikeysmith3755 Fuck you,

Sabbath is nothing without geezer or iommi
Its funny how such a powerful song that most ignorant people would call satanic, is actually about peace. Peace my peeps🖖
Exactly my thoughts. This song has a lot of truth to it
Who would actually listen to this song and call it satanic?
Ya, it’s actually the opposite. Judgment Day is in a helluva lot of his songs. And he has always called out the corrupt wankers of the world. It’s the main message. Clean up your act or rot in hell. Funny how people could possibly misconstrue it. Mr. Crowley, same deal. He sure as hell isn’t promoting the man’s insane ways. He’s condemning them.
Miss Kim Geezer Butler wrote Sabbath’s lyrics, not Ozzy. Any common theme between those and Ozzy solo lyrics would be pure coincidence.
True though.
This song is 54 years old, and to this day there is nothing more brutal in rock than that first stroke on the guitar.
Geezer shreds it on bass. Hands down the most talented musician in the band if I could pick one.
Tony, Bill and Ozzy along with Gezzer bring a lot to the table.
I think Tony is amongst the best
Riff composers ever.
Rick Wakeman rated Black Sabbath as seriously good musicians.
That is the from a virtuoso if there
Ever was one.
that poor old bass is gettin' smashed man, let's pray for that slab o wood!
Mr.Butler is freaking awesome. Good call bud 👍
Was listening to black sabbath at 23 I'm now 67....
still can't get enough ...
thank you Sharon for Ozz Fest in George, Wa .
Listen to Geezer just killing it. He never leaves anything on the table. Bass players like him and Entwistle made it possible for guitar players like Tony and Pete to do what they do. Underrated.
Plus he wrote all of their lyrics!
@@willrobb5577 hate pete
All the haters are asswipes who are miserable themselves and want others to feel the same! Useless comments etc are not building blocks of society but weigh us all tdown with their sick and twisted attitudes!! Rock on Ozzy!! War Pigs was your best!
I totally agree. I've seen lots of bands, great and legendary, bands. But Geezer is the icon for the bass guitar and John Entwistle.
The Who is my favorite band. I’ve seen them 5 times and I’m 28 but sabbath can rock. I hope at 58 or how ever old he is in this I can jump around happy like ozzy
I’m 26 and I am discovering this man ! Need to. Hear more its insanely good man.
Ozy whether you like nim or not, what he's done in his life makes him a living legend, icon!!
Ozzy can barely walk or talk but put a mic and crowd infront of him and he's jumping and singing clear as day🤣🤣
Oh, you like this rubbish?
@@henryhawk2904 why are you here if you don't like it lol
It's almost akin to giving something to someone with Alzheimer's that makes them remember something. You know? It's like in that moment, they're completely the same person they've always been.
Talent is worthless unless exercised
😶😶😶
With what’s going on in the world (yet again) this song as pertinent as ever. The band is totally on form here!
There's no one like Ozzy bless that man!
Yes I agree Ozzy Osbourne a awesome singer and black Sabbath a awesome group

Fact! Buddy!👊🤛🤛👊🤛
thats how ya know REAL
Really says something about our species. There is always a war SOMEWHERE!!
Hands down one of the greatest songs ever created.
All the famous singers always say "I love you, you're the greatest!", but I think Ozzy truly means it. He just gives off that vibe.
he's an alkie and it's their national anthem
The joy for music and his fans and the stage presence alone make Ozzy easily one of the greatest frontmans of ALL TIME! And there's that crazy factor that makes him an absolute legend!! That was a joy to watch, especially with all those heavy metal legends on the stage as well.
😅😅😅😅❤❤ bom de mais
Ozzy may not be around forever, but his music is freaking legendary!
News flash: Nobody is around forever
@@Robil63 News flash: ozzy osbourne never dies
Exactly
Ozzy himself is beyond legendary he is a real metal god
Ozzy's music will definitely be around forever
The music that is played today will fade away like a fart in the wind. The bands and the music from the 60s and 70s will go on forever. It will never be the same and I'm so glad I was a part of it. I seen black Sabbath with van Halen in the 70s at the Rose garden in Portland Oregon a concert I will never forget. That is what I can remember of it, the 70s were a drug filled party 24/7. I would do anything to bring back those days of my youth. Rock On!!
Wow
Wow
I agree cause 70 and 80 music will take over the younger music. have heared the new shit and it sucks
u sound bitter
Vivaldi rocks, dudes have been head banging for hundreds of years.
How fuckin crazy is it that they have been together since '68? Ozzy is 67 and still so full of energy. I hope i see them in September for their last tour
well he was 62 in this video, saw him a couple months ago for the this is the end tour. Still has energy lol
Hes 67 now.... if this was 2005 how was he 62 in this video lol? thats 11 years ago.
Nik Morales i say them in tinley park illinois early september. It was my first and last black sabbath concert
nick parkin did you enjoy it nick??
Nik Morales
W .. W wait they did the final t ... tour already - no - no I missed it😭
Where did all the real rock go? What a shame this generation has no rock gods with hard hitting rock and roll !!
Butler is one of the most under rated bass players. He covered lead and drums...all together this is one if not the best bands to ever play!
Geezer is not underrated
The first bassist in heavy metal!!
The only thing that can make Tony smile is Ozzy mooning the fans ,Priceless !!!
Black Sabbath’s music will always be the sound to reckon with long after they’re gone..
Look at the crowded this man gets
I always thought that about certain bands, then I realized these huge crowds are festivals. I'm so dumb. I wonder if Michael Jackson in Budapest was just him 🤔 check that out.
42 years later and this track is more relevant than ever....
Brainwashed minds for sure....
I say this every time I post it on Facebook and people just ask why I listen to this kind of music 🙄🤷🏾♀️
Was thinking the same thing
Hear Hear 🤘🔥
bingo
Will be 54 years old on December 7th of this year and this song is stapled into brain till the day I die. John is like a kid waking up on Christmas Day, he is the same on stage as he was back then and when he says he loves you all he means it
Long live Ozzy 🎉
My favorite singer of all time. You're the best there is, ever was and ever will be. I love you OZZY ❤️❤❤❤
N Bret Hart too ❤in the world Jack!
What a fucking masterpiece of a song.
he has the smile of a naughty boy caught out doing something . a more harmless bloke i have yet to see .
This song is so powerful that the day turned night in the course

Bill at drums has a special feeling, a jazz timing, you listen and knows who are playing
So true! Same with Charlie Watts
It’s actually quite common that metal drummers have jazz fusion backgrounds. An example would be the late Gar Samuelson, he was a jazz drummer before joining Megadeth.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone happier to be on stage! Gotta love the energy Ozzy puts off!
Gosh how much I love that incredible Ozzy's voice !!!🖤🔥
Sabbath is the tightest rock band that I have seen, They do not miss a beat. Their sound is amazing.
Yes
The cleanness of his voice is astonishing. Sharp, strong and cuts like a knife.
