Thank you Graeme for getting our Gracie aka 812 back to good health and thank you for all the help and advice you have given us with our channel. We have loved documenting life here on the farm since lockdown started and we couldn’t go to school any more. Who knew how much goes on here every week! It’s keeping us busy and we are learning so much at the same time. Saving Gracie book orders in and can’t wait to see it 😁🐄❤️🏴
You show the sexy side of hoof trimming. I was trimming last week, outdoors in a gale of wind. One of the cows pissed constantly. Needless to say, I was in the firing line.
Farming Files Thank you for caring for Gracie so well. I was emotional watching the videos, I can't begin to imagine what it was like to see her going through all that. your love and care plus Graeme's expert care and support have got her to where she is now. What an amazing transformation.
Bless the farmer taking such good care of Gracie. Watching her progress is fascinating and I have no idea how I’ve become so obsessed with this channel. It must be the summers I spent at my Grandparents farm house and visiting all the different farms around the area. Regardless of why, I love watching the patience and care you show these incredible animals.💫
I am an American in suburban Massachusetts, I just happened upon the Hoof GP and love this channel. I fell in love with Gracie aka 812! I have been concerned about her and have tears in my eyes seeing how well she’s doing! Great job Hoof GP & Farming Files for taking such good care of her and all of the cows and animals in your charge. 👏🏻❤️👍🏻🇺🇸
Oh wow what a fantastic change for Gracie, I'm so happy she's recovering. Well done to the farmers, vets and of course the hoof GP. SO HEARTWARMING to see her back to her healthy state. Well done everyone and thank you ❤❤❤❤
Not only are you good at your job, but you're also a great instructor! I didn't realize just how much you've taught me until I watched a different hoof trimming video the other day. There was so much that was handled poorly, and I felt bad for the cow. I'm so glad there are people like you out there making a difference!
It is so nice to see healthy, happy cows. Thank you to you and Craig, and the farmers who care so much for their charges. To see Gracie being given a chance rather than just put down is wonderful.
Disturbed Pyro probably more like a small tiny amount of pressure being removed. While it’s same thing as nails is dead like hair just very tough like a tusk so there isn’t much feeling in their hooves.
@@CowgirlGoneJumper oh ok. Yeah I know nothing about maintaining cows. I thought the hooves could grow into the skin like a hangnail, causing the cows pain? I also thought that if their hooves are overgrown it can cause them to walk incorrectly, causing other problems?
Disturbed Pyro Well what you said is correct BUT like the other person said they don’t really feel their hooves that much. Sort of like our fingernails, you can feel when they ripped off or ingrown because they’re affecting the skin on/around them but you can’t actually feel that nail itself.
Graham, you and "Cragieboy" are my favorite "bovine pedicurists". I especially appreciate how you two perform your stonectomies, (removal of stones from cows' hooves). It is so nice to see how you truly care about the health and happiness of the cows you work with. Thank you for all you do and thank you for sharing your stories with us.
I oddly enough can say I'm so hella proud of Craig. He's learned and is still learning so much and already shows hella skill. I wish him and his family the utter best the world can give. I really hope he gets to see this.
I yelled out loud "YAY!" when I saw Gracie's rear right foot all better! I'm sure her left one will be healed on your next visit. I love the care you provide, your channel, and Farming Files channel too. Thanks for all you do for Gracie and all the cows of Southwest Scotland. Blessings from the high mountains of Northwest North Carolina.
So happy to see Gracie doing so well. YES yes!! Katie, Finn and Rory are doing a fantastic job with Farming Files. On my home health nursing rounds I have recommeded them as a video for kids needing something new bright, fun and educational. Mr Parker,Thanks for your always reliable and positive and videos.
I love Gracie's story. My goodness Graeme! Both you and Craig have done a phenomenal job. Gracie is lucky to have people that love her all over from near to far. Sending love to you guys and Gracie. Stay safe guys.
I forgot how much pain she was in when we started following her care. To she how good she is doing now with your help and farmers it brilliant. You and Craig keep up good work and keep filming I’m fascinated. Thank you guy
I literally cried when I saw how well Gracie looks and is walking!! Hats off to you, and everyone in her recovery!! Wicked upgrades on your truck, by the way, Graeme! Lookin' mighty tough, my friend! Until the next video, man...#LOVETHEHOOFGP 🐄🐮🐂💜
Thank you so much for updating her story for us!! She looks so much like a dairy replacement heifer I had as a kid that I got attached and was really wondering if she made it through!! You and the farmers have done a wonderful job with her!! Yeah Gracie!
Love the follow up videos on the cows or bulls with problems. It is a testament to the vital work you do and your dedication to doing something you love. It's a great example for my children. Thank you!
I literally almost cried when Gracie came walking in. I been having a rough go of it today, but to see how well she is doing is so awesome. thank you for sharing your work with us.
So happy to see Gracie doing much better. You have done nothing short of saved her and many many others lives. Thank you👍 and keep up the great work guys
That book looks amazing!! I severely hope that you can get your books into schools (when they're back to normal) because it shows proper welfare for animals, and could be the stepping stone for some kids to want to be in the same profession as our dear Hoof GP. Glad Gracie is well on her way to being fully recovered. She's walking so well now!
You are very creative making these videos, never a dull moment with you around. Glad to see 812 make it into the new crush and making a name for herself. Bless you,Craig, and 812!! Take care till next time 😁
I'm so happy to see lovely Gracie doing so well, and walking so much better. I don't know much about cows, but her eyes seem brighter and her coat shinier too. I'm guessing she's eating better now she isn't in as much pain. Well done xx
So pleased with Gracie's update to be honest I was worried she wouldn't make it and respect to the farmer who didn't cut his losses with her he showed faith in Graham and look at Gracie now..a completely different cow..that first time seeing her broke my heart 💔🐄 because she was in too much pain to even put her left rear foot to the floor..well done Graham a brilliant job..
When I went to a highland festival a few months ago, I wore my cow shirt. Someone stopped me and said he loved my shirt and whose plaid that was. Good to know it's your family's plaid. Glad to see Gracie.
My man! Thanks for introducing me to the world of hoof trimming! I never knew it existed until i came across your video! I'm just a lover of learning new things, so thanks for allowing me into your world!

So much to love in this video! The best part for me was seeing Gracie looking so good-not just her hoof, but her whole body.
