Marcelito has the most amazing talent, a very RARE talent. He so deserved the Golden Buzzer. Shame on them and SIMON. I so hope Marcelito go from strength to strength. God has given him the most amazing and RARE singing voice. There is no one I know of or have heard with the "range of notes" he sang and with such ease. One cannot even compare these two acts, as they are totally different. Marcelito would have beaten other singers. Next time DO NOT do different shows, stick to the same shows. Singers with singers. Magician with magician, Comedy with Comedy. That is fairness. So disappointed with these talent shows that mix acts. Totally agree with you. Simon likes to be the one to press the Golden Buzzer. I was appalled that Marcelito didn't get the Golden Buzzer! When that comedic dance act got it, I suspected they actually went on stage before him. I was & still am mad at Simon for that! They DO NOT deserve to be in the finale with the other acts! I'm glad I found your video confirming my suspicions. I will watch the finale of Champions, but I don't plan on watching AGT next season, now.

I've watched the whole acts and honestly saying, Marcelito deserve a golden buzzer for the standing ovation, wowness of the judges, and most importantly entertainment for all its audience. I have a perfect solution: eliminate the golden buzzer altogether. Let all the contestants compete all the way. Pick the excellent and deserving ones in the semi-finals to go to the Finals. And also, let the singing contestants sing the complete songs as most of the singing highlights are cut off when abbreviated due to limited time allotted to singers.
They are playing people around the world....but they can't cheat people looking of what happened..the reality must still remain..MARCELITO will deserve on it...

In my opinion, Marcelito Pomoy didn't get the Golden Buzzer because it would mean, he will go straight to Finals and won't be seen in Semi-Finals, Certainly, the producer knew that having him in Semi-finals means bigger audience . As a Filipino, I really don't mind him not getting the Golden Buzzer because what Marcelito needs is the exposure to world audience. Finals in an American or British shows is easily manipulated either by the TV management or by the audience themselves. Like for example, in the case of American Idols final between Jessica Sanchez and the young American guy, surely Jessica will not win because the voters of mostly young white American female, which makes sense. Filipino votes and other sympathizers won't be enough for her to win. In this particular case Marcelito might reach the Finals, but no guarantee of winning regardless of how good and popular he might be. Remember, it's a show business. Whatever result Marcelito achieved, I AM HAPPY FOR HIM. There's novelty in his talent, and having known his story, I could only cry wishing the best for the rest of his life. Marcelito won the Pilipinas Got Talent in 2011 making him instant success, but sometime in 2015, Marcelito himself had been disappointed with his career. Filipinos interest goes to newcomers and with so much talents in the country, Marcelito's career reached the peak. However, with his appearance in Ellen Degeneres, it rekindled Filipinos interest (nationalism) and now AGT raised the temperature of my countrymen's emotion to a new level. HE HAS SUPERB AND EXTRAORDINARY TALENT, ONLY GOD CAN GIVE. ..... but career in entertainment business is so doubtful towards the end. For him to be acknowledged and known worldwide for his God Given talent is enough. I hope he will earn sufficient, enough to keep him stable in the future and for the rest of his life... in a much simpler existence as ordinary and humble person. For me it is better not to get the Golden Buzzer because he is NOT put into the finals by ONE PERSON (JUDGE) but by 50 Super fans of America. Plus he got more exposure being in the Semi finals which is what he really need-EXPOSURE and the prospective producers will be lining on is doorstep. In fact it is better Money wise for him to get just the 2nd place so he does not have to be tied up with contract with AGT for One year before he can start making money.

However, the producers knew that we are like that, and so, milked every cent they could get from MP's value and popularity.
Simon stealing the golden buzzer got my goat. At the time it seemed arrogant and definitely against the rules. I figured it was done for entertainment but I truly felt that star trooper dance gig was a repeat of what they had done before and nothing special. Now to know the ' can't give it on the first show ' stick was a fake add in makes it all clear. Ive always felt the golden buzzer was setup in a way that was unfair , now I see its even worse than unfair, its ridiculous.
If i remember correctly they got a golden buzzer too last time they were on Britains Got talent, and from Simon too. With a freaking same act. This show throws me off, its just horrible. Im Filipino and actually its okay for Marcelito to not get the golden buzzer, but Boogie storm getting in is too much. A lot more talents deserve to be in there. Simon chose a song that Marcelito will sing in the finals. From Marcelito's vlog, he admitted that he's not confident that the song fits him and can be use to make him win the finals. Because you can insert different audios and clips in different acts. Again, they stage it. Even in the editing process, everything is edited in a way that it makes it look appealing, or dramatic.

i watched the interview with boy abunda and marcelito and in answer to your question regarding that interview marcelino was "hoping" the golden buzzer was pushed for him but it was not.

4 hours ago, Marcelito Pomoy uploaded a vedio telling about the song he’ll gonna song on finals.
And as expected, the Agt team had already chosen the piece. He also told, that the song is not that too high just like he usually sings. 2nd) Simon has the final say on the kind of the song he will be singing. 3rd) i felt him not interested with the piece and i couldnt see him happy about the song. 4th) he said, he has nothing to do with it but sing and perform well the best that she can.
Now, this is my early theory that the winner has already fixed :)

I felt sorry to those who are “triggered about my spelling and grammar”.
And i trully understand why Phil still belong to the “Third World” considering pf its richness, hospitability and resillience during some hard times. This is because of the attitude towards its own “kababayan”. Crab Mentality is very common traits of Filipinos. You can not just stare, read and being silent about your negative views but dragging them down thibking they would gain money out of it.
I am a Filipino and proud for being myself. A successful person abroad, at the age of 24 i already have my own house and lot, cars, and some properties back home. Yet, i still striving to earn more for my goal. As much as i can, i made sure of my comments towards others.
Sometimes, academe doesnt really help you become a successful person, you need to have a little luck, perseverance and real definition of “determination”. You need to be an experienced person because “academe + bad attitude” will bring you nowhere.
I am not good in the field of English, yet i performed well in my Job, im enjoying my time with my workmates, i have a positive environment. I lead my team, i helped them as well reaching thier goal.

Initially not happy about no golden buzzer but on reflection, I'm glad Marcelito did not get it ... it gave us the opportunity to see and enjoy his subsequent performances ... Thank you for sharing your wonderful gift/talent beautifully presented .... and What a smile!!!
There's a simple logic behind the decision in why they didn't give him the golden buzzer. It's for entertaining and to get more viewers for AGT. Which is actually favors Marcelito. he will get more exposures throughout the competition. I'm very much confident that he will be the winner in this season.

Just one BIG question. Why the act for singing from AGT either edited or tell the singer to shorten their song due to limited time? Wherein other act such as magic, and such are not? It should be fair as well regardless of their talent to showcase from the viewers as it may impact the voting system who should really win..
Good question. Don't have a good answer to that. You would think all acts would get the same amount of time to perform, but magic acts definitely seem to be given a lot more time than singers, comedians and such.
