Sadly, it's much worse than that. Yemen imports roughly 40% of its wheat from Ukarine and Russia. With this current war in Ukraine, it's likely we'll see major disruptions in wheat exports. This makes the already dire famine in Yemen that much worse.

Randomly saw about Yemen - Saudi conflict and came here. The biggest war n oppression happening in a Muslim country that I knew was the Israel - Palestine conflict. But the civil wars backed by big nations are never even coming to limelight. Thanks Al-Jazeera for reporting this.
