Hi Cameron ... I just photographed Trumpet swans ... I got some beautiful shots with their wings open, they are so amazing.. with a wing span of 6 ft or more.
They stopped in for a couple weeks to a beach close to me ...you could walk on the beach and they were not aggresive at all. Love them ...very elegant fowl to photograph .. thanks for sharing ebird ...good to know ... shoot on!.

I really wish people used eBird as much in Europe as they do in NA!

The eBird app is also useful. Another birding app I have found useful is the Merlin Bird ID. Fun video.

Thank you. One thing that would be great would be a demonstration of how and if you upload images to your bird sightings

Great videos and you are absolutely correct about using EBird. It is a great asset and have been using it and contributing to it for years.

Great video, sir. I just recently found your channel and really enjoy your content. I am not sure if you are aware, but if others read this they may get some tips too. When I am using either the Species Map or the Hotspots Map, 99% of the time I narrow down the time to Current Year, and usually the current Month in the drop down menu up next to the Species or Hotspot name. The only time I wouldn't is just for a general idea of where an unknown species lives in the world. Another tip for using the Species map is along the right side Legend/Key there is a checkbox for Show Points Sooner. I find that very useful since those purple blocks can be VERY general without really zooming in. So with the current year and month dialed in, you can really key in to areas of high sightings. One last preference I do is always open checklists in a new tab since going back from the checklist is slow to reset and will usually zoom out. Thanks!

Cameron awesome video once again! I have no doubts if you stick with it your channel will become really popular. You live in such a beautiful and unique place, the content is always fascinating! It seems like the Peak Design strap has been the industry standard for a while now. I wish they would make other colors besides black and ash. I have a question for you! I really like your channel and Morten Hilmer's but I notice that camouflage is often used; 3D camo, and ghillie suits. How do you stay safe from hunters? I live in NY and there's plenty of forests to drive too but hunting is very popular. I know not all animals see in color, and I understand its more important for certain wildlife. Its recommended wearing a piece of bright orange clothing but I don't see any photographers doing that?

Hiya, not wanting to be that guy.........but you could be putting a lot of stress on your camera mount by attaching both lens and camera instead of just both mount points on the lens. I know that sounds pedantic and your gear your choice but couldn't stop myself from making the comment.
