Bro! Big fan of your channel.
It takes a lot of time but I've always seem welded the big systems I've done. It tightens things up and they meter a few db more because of it. Lastly it keeps them from tearing the spot welds out.
Welding is DEFINITELY something I'll be learning because of that!
@@EXOcontralto all you need is a simple mig welder,preferably with gas not flux core. What we used to do is weld all the seams similar to how they do rally cars. We'd go a inch or so at a time alternating spots to keep from warping things. Once done its amazing how much stiffer it makes things. But it really ties all the stamped steal parts together. Plus while welding you can add angle iron or box tubing to mount MDF panels and depending on where and how crazy you want to go,you can fill the voids with foam or hydraulic cement that expands.
Do these guys ever play actual music on their systems? :P

I up graded to a single Digital Design 800 redline 15" with a 1200.1 amp not the best amp just got it for now hope to upgrade that as well but hey It is brand new so it has warranty which is great wish you were closer so I could demo for you now I need a better alternator and side batt. In the order of priorities for systems, it should probably be:
1. Safety
2. Performance
3. Aesthetic
It takes quite a pretty penny as well as energy and skill to have all three and I think the only people you should ridicule are the ones pulling resources from the safety category for the sake of the other two.

Mine had all three and yes, it cost a ton of cash and yeah things broke. After a while of fixing and repairing, I eventually sold that truck. As much as I'd love to put a huge system in my new truck, I can't justify the damage anymore. I'm no longer a young buck lol.

I think I'd be fixing my ride. before I built a walled 6th order. some extra bracing and deadener and maybe foam may prevent. adding after the body starts tearing is useless.

You have your numbers wrong, and mixed up. Parallel wiring reduced ohm load, series wiring increases it.

Man that van flexin hard, hey exo whats your advise on doing a budget comp build im trying to find great subs for around 100 bucks not much over and a true power amp or amps that are also cheap, my plan is to do a no wall budget build and show people that you can hit just as hard if not close to it as in buying 300 dollar subs and 500 dollar amps any thoughts?

You start with simple math and extrapolate what you "should" need to go that big. Then you take into account the volume of what's left in the cabin to help find the resonant frequency needed to proper tuning. That gets you close. From there it's a bit of trial and error.
