      I'm sorry to hear you are suffering as well. Making sure to exercise and getting in enough water helps me, I've also tried a guided meditation for sleep that is relaxing. I hope you find something that helps you🙏🌷🙏

    Thank you so much for sharing this information. I have been Anastrozole since Oct 2022 and I am now feeling more joint discomfort than before. I am having my DIEP flap procedure in July 2023. I will be asking my medical team about the collagen.

    You are a God send. I had my lumpectomy, radiation for estrogen+, progesterone+ and HER2 positive. I will not be doing chemo but will try the hormone suppressant drug. I have cancer elsewhere in remission, MS, and Hashimoto's and don't want more problems.

      I’m the same with my breast cancer and also have multiple issues. I’ve dealt with psoriasis for 15 years, RA for 6 years and got the breast cancer diagnosis last July 2023. RA flares in my SI joint was challenging during biopsies, MRIs and then the 3 hour surgery on my back left me in elevated pain. Radiation was a challenge when I had to climb on the steel table. Miraculously, the RA pain in my back and knees eased up. Other than being burnt to a crisp during the last week of radiation, I was grateful for ease of joint pain. Now that I’m on Anastrozole, joint and muscle pain is off the charts. I do take collagen in my shake. Maybe all this will ease over time, but for now, I feel as if I’m losing myself. This is not me. I pray to God to help me get back to who I am 🙏

      My pleasure! I find it helps me when I feel prepared for the "next thing" too. Sadly I did... I'll add a link to a recent video I did that compares the two different hormone therapy options I tried. It explains the side effects I felt from both (some different, some the same). Wishing you all the best in your surgery and recovery this April💫🌷

    Hi Chelsey, thanks for this. Did you say you took AI for 1 year? Did you change to something else or stopped. Doc say I need to take it for 10 years... thanks

      Yes, I took an AI for one year, then switched to Tamoxifen. I've also been recommended extended use.

    Are you still taking Hormone blocker Anastrozole? I thought I remembered you saying you were going off it. How long did you take it and are you going to go back on it?

    • @ChelseyTarnow
      @ChelseyTarnow  Год назад +1

      Hi:). I was on anastrozole for one year, before I switched to Tamoxifen for a second year and then I took a break from Tamoxifen to try and get pregnant. At this point I don't plan to go back on anastrozole.

      @@ChelseyTarnow Will you be going back on Tamoxifen? I was on Arimidex for one year. I have decided not to take it anymore. I am Whole Foods plant based and exercise everyday. I was stage 1 invasive lobular no node involvement. ER +. Lumpectomy chemo radiation. I'm 2 years 4 months out from diagnosis and clear NED. I'm 72 yrs old. It was a big decision to stop. But it was depressed and the joint pain was debilitating.

      @@bourgsusan thank you so much for sharing🙏. Did you noticed when you stopped your medication that you felt better mentally and physically? It is such a tough decision to navigate and so personal. At this point I am considering going back on.
