Hello, again. As I mentioned before, I stopped 6 months ago after a year on Tamoxifen. I had an exercise program previous to being diagnosed with breast cancer, cardio, weight training, yoga. Something almost every day, but none of that helped. I felt like someone else's brain was in my head. I was very emotional, terrible brain fog, mid section weight gain and horrible muscle and joint pain, my gums were bleeding. I wanted my life back. My oncologist was on board with me stopping the drug. I felt like I had aged 10 years, physically and mentally. I have a mammogram next week and I am very nervous. I am wishing you all the best in your journey.

Hello again💕. Gosh I can totally understand why you chose not to resume Tamoxifen. Those are so many quality of life disrupting side effects. As you know, I've been struggling with a few you mentioned, but not all of them. Did you find everything subsided after you stopped? Sending so many positive vibes your way for a clear scan and continued health💫!

Wow Girl - weights and HIIT! That's wonderful!! I am sure that taking back some of the control that you felt the Tamoxifen had taken from you must be so empowering! You look so happy and so healthy! Praying for you always and for all the warriors every day. You are such an inspiration for us all to control what we can control and in fact even control what we may not realize we can control!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

    Dear Chelsey.
Thank you for your new video. 😊
You are not alone. Tamoxifen always comes with new side effects. Sometimes it takes sometime to find new strategies, but it is possible.
Stay strong and be carefull with yourself.
    Greetings from Germany,
    Anja😊

I started tamoxifen last week. Omg..no hot flashes. But, it's making my ovaries scream. I had horrible headaches in the mornings. My bubbly personality vanished. 10 years of this is nuts. Plus 2 years of Verzenio with diarrhea is also nuts. I want to live without any of these drugs. Sorry, just venting. I still want a kid, too.

I'm so so sorry you are experiencing side effects... it truly is so frustrating and such an overwhelming thought to be on the medication for 10 years... I feel that too. It's so darn hard. Has your oncology team said anything about taking a break to try for a baby? I hope that in the next week you feel some relief/improvements🙏🙏. And please, feel welcome to vent/share anytime! You aren't alone💕.

I’m on my fourth bottle of Tamoxifen hot flashes, joint pain. And Brain fog is my biggest concern i almost set my house on fire ones some how I started to boil water at 9 o’clock at night and forgot about it luckily it made some whistle I can’t imagine what if we all slept through 😩🤪

Oh man! I've done that recently too except I left the house for the afternoon with a pot simmering on the stove. So frightening when I came home to the smell of smoke in the house and I knew it was me🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️! I'm so so happy everyone was ok in your situation too! It's so scary!
