I just watched those 2 races and champayne platinum was a long way off he was pumping off the bridle a long way back and to finish so close was eye catching and front view as you say didn't wanna win so I think your bang on there as well also you take your time on your bets and that to me is a massive plus and Mark do you use stats as well? as in last year the last 32 hc at fest were won by 5 trainers,I think that's right and do you believe in last courses they ran at? before fest? regards Jules
I look at the stats a lot. Most of the handicaps are won by the big yards. The two I picked are with Nicky and Joseph OBrien both of them had two handicap winners last year.
You can get 20s about ravenhill in the kim muir at the moment, I have it on good authority jamie codd rides. He will half in price at least by race time
Champaign Platinum is shortest price in the Kim Muir at the moment, 12-1 for that compared to 20-1 for the Northern Trust and 16-1 for the Brown Advisory. The Northern Trust (used to be Close Brothers) is the last but one race on the Tuesday, the last is the National Hunt Chase over the marathon trip.
Hi Simon, I like CP for the anorthern Trust you’re right it’s the second last race. I think the novice race would be better but his handicap mark may not get him in. Not sure I’d like him in the Kim Muir.

Hi Karl, The four bets were 40 Honeysuckle 5-1, 60 LIT 9-2, 40 Dolcita 8-1, 30ew ROTS 16-1 total 200 out of 500. Obviously just a guide and expect others only to bet if they fancy them and stake lower or what they feel comfortable betting.
Still hope Honeysuckle goes Champion Hurdle, think Benie will be too good for her. Wouldn’t be shocked to see Rachael do the Arkle/Mares Novice double with Notebook & Minella Melody
Hi Mark Please do not lose the faith in Ridersonthestorm, also I saw snippet regarding DOLCITA Willie said he was disappointed in her but he said there will be much more to come from her which is a positive, and I was talking to a bloke on one of the forums and I mentioned ALLAHO, I said I was hoping for The Marsh but he told me that his uncle works in the Mullins yard ( Yeah I know I should take it with a pinch of salt) but he was adamant Allaho was going to the RSA which pissed me off cos I have 33s for the Marsh, he also said he does get tips nearer the time and that the yard won't hear of Chacon Pour Soi losing. Keep the faith like I do.
Just hoping and praying Honeysuckle goes for The Champion Hurdle. Benie will go for The Mares and I just can't see Honeysuckle beating her (sorry Mark) so I'm hoping they see sense and avoid her.
The NH Chase is a tougher race and I’d worry they may switch a champagne classic will switch to RSA.. Champagne Platinum is the Nov Hcp Chase the race before. I got the times wrong.
I agree. I’d get on champagne classic nrnb at 12/1 for the RSA as I think battle over doyen may not run at the festival as had a bad fall last time and didn’t travel well last year

Complete agree regarding Ferny Hollow. Seems to be a bit of a lunatic
but headgear looks like it might of done the trick, got phenomenal potential.
Ferny Hollow was touted as the big hope but pulling and keen first two starts. Was better in the hood.

I have to keep the faith but running last weekend wasn’t a plus for ROTS. it’ll be ok I will pull a rabbit out of the hat 😊 well hopefully !!
