Sounds so much like the classics! 0:31 is always my favorite part in every version because it truly describes him. This heroic Time Lord that appears from nowhere, rushing in like the cavalry to save the day even if it means he may die in the process.

In the orchestral versions of the theme that mid-section or the 'middle 8' is the bit that makes the hair on your arms and ears stand on end. One of the few T.V. themes that sounds just as great coming out of a synth as it does being performed by a full symphony.
I wish they would bring the middle eight back into the actual show. It's just too triumphant and awesome to only use on special occasions.

You can't unseat Tom Baker, it isn't possible. Best of the reboot without a doubt. Can't decide between Smith and Tennant who was better. Loved them both.

This may be my favorite theme since the 2008 version. The middle eight is awesome, I wish it would be in the show more often, even if it's just in the end credits.

The beat is so exciting, the sound effects make it unique and the Theremin is absolutely screaming, which makes it sound dangerous and adventurous.

I love the middle 8, I think RTD had it right when the main theme would play over "next time" and then the credits would be the middle 8, I personally, wasn't a fan on the "next time" as it gave away alot of what should have been a cliffhanger, but i would welcome that back for the sake of the middle 8
i just love the clockwork sound permeating throughout this theme
Idk why but i felt that Capaldi's doctor connected to me the most because Its the Doctor finally showing his age according to his face, and yes he was brutally honest sometimes but he does it out of experience and age. But Capaldi's Doctor wasnt all that serious he had alot of funny, playful moments in the show that i really enjoyed. That is why Capaldi is in my top Three Favourite Doctors of all time. Well done 12 Well done! 👏👏👏
I will say that David Tennant's 2008 (series 4, and specials) theme was my favourite, but this one comes a close second. (PS: when I say favourite, I mean since the show was brought back in 2005, there are a couple from the classic eras that I liked more)

0:31 is so nostalgic to me because it was 2015 and I would have my ps4 on and I would be playing Lego dimensions and I would (as the doctor) hop in the tardis and hear the middle 8 and hearing it agin chokes me up

Extended versions and re-recordings like this really highlight the fact that the theme is essentially a '60 western theme.
I think the original actually hides this better, it's pretty stripped down.

+Super Happy Corona Video Time~! True, but it's mainly because it's just to long to fit in to the opening or end credits with the time they have. Seriously, if you think about it, with the fast-paced nature of Doctor Who, 1-2 minutes can actually be a lot taken out of the episode.
