At the 1 minute mark you can see several blue orbs hit the cube
@@alphavecto but it didn't hit the sides, it went right through the middle of the cube and should've reset him
@@_kzr the linked explanation shows that in order to be killed, the player needs to be overlapping the enemy on one of the 5 points for at least 2 frames. looking frame by frame on youtube with < > you can see that it does overlap, but not for more than a single frame on a single point. you could see the enemy overlap with a different point the next frame, but it needs to be the same point next frame to count.

If you think the game's hitboxes are malfunctioning, please read the image linked in the pinned first. It explains how collision works in this game, and why speedrunners are able to avoid getting dying when getting hit at certain times.
@@Me-da-Ghost Why do old games (and new games sometimes too) have those weird hitboxes? I guess it costs too much of the game's resources to check for more collissions than those 5 dots?

@@kevinbryanma7146 the frames still don't match, the game moves fast enough to the point where the hitbox is weird. you could easily veryify it for yourself if you had patience but ig not because of what you said here

Oh my God. I started getting interested into this series and I reminded when A Japanese guy was doing over 6 seconds. And that seemed to humanly impossible. I am glad I came back to this game

Great run! I’ve probably been here for a couple time in the past but came back from Maximum’s documentary. Very nostalgic indeed. Also, all the people in the comments accusing you must’ve never played, let alone finished this game lol.

I used to play this game and the phasing through enemies isn’t cheating…. It’s just how the game is. I found out you could just go straight in level 7 when I was like 10.
There are 5 hit detection points in the player and the enemies need to hit the player's hit detection points for 2 frames, in that spot in Level 7 at 1:00 the enemies only hit the player for 1 frame instead of 2, Same for the clip in Level 8 in 1:09, if you try to go into the side of the wall, one of the collision points will work and you will get moved out of the wall. BUT the way that this works is that the game moves you out in the opposite direction of which you are currently moving in (for example, if you are moving right, the game will move you left). So if you hold the key in the opposite direction of in which you want to move, you can actually clip into a wall slightly.
Zero deaths is an achievement: Immortals.

on Level 7, the reason why he went through the circles like its no problem is because this game was made by a 16 year old in 2007, so of course the hitboxes would be terrible.

and download one of the versions if you don't plan on speedrunning the game I recommend downloading the coolmathgames version because it has level select, but if you want you can download the original snubbyland version.
Once downloaded you can open the game with either internet explorer or with flash player projector.

@@ommnon its weirdly true, the tas is so heavily ocd that they have to make everything frame-perfect, and all the frames added up to 20 seconds (30 frames in a second, that means that 600 frames were unmastered)

@@zeyadhanygouda8324Checked the pic and that doesn't work when I play. My pr is under 100 deaths but the way he was going through some of them makes no sense, unless he's just using some gimmicks. The way you normally play this definitely doesn't give you any advantage unlike in this video.
And again yes, I did see the pic and read it, but that literally doesn't work for me on the default game so he has to be doing something else as well
