But as years go on, somebody else always comes along. I actually feel for hsblue for holding records so briefly with the amount of commitment he put in.

I only lost less than 2s in the entire run comparing to the strategies I was going for. I messed up collecting second coin in level 26 (lost about 1.5s) and later I messed up in level 29 and I decided to go for a slightly slower route, losing about 0.2s. The reason why the timer says that I lost time between level 9 and 15 is because I was comparing against the fwr which used an incerdibly difficult route in level 12 which I wasn't using.
The previous wr was only a second longer. If you're talking about hsblue's or Aaron's 5:14 there are a few levels where I used faster strategies than them, mainly level 28
I broke the wr during an event called break the record live, where multiple runners were trying to beat the wr/their pb. It had already been announced before hsblue got his 5:14.
Even with faster l12 and no mistakes in l26 or l29 this run would have barely been 5:04. It would take a lot more insane stuff for a sub 5. I personally think it's humanly possible and will happen one day, in a very distant future
