@@ByKristinaNicole It really is, I spent today reformatting my canva listing slide book to 4:3 with 2667x2000px. Can't believe I missed the Etsy guidelines on this. Love your straightforward and comprehensive tutorials, will definitely be tuning in regularly!
Hi Kristina Nicole, you are an amazing instructor! Everything is presented so clearly, in such a logical progression. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom 😊
Debbie, thank you so much for taking the time to share that with me! I sure do appreciate you! I am so happy you are finding my training easy to follow and helpful!
Hi Kristina, I just discovered you as I am getting ready to open my Esty Shop. Your videos are so helpful! Thank You ! I have a question regard the exported file. I use PS to edit my artwork but I have never Exported anything, I always just Save. So where do the exported files go? Where will I find it and can I designate a particular folder to find it easier? I am using a PC btw. Thank you again!!
Hey hey! Thanks for letting me know you are enjoying my videos and finding them helpful! That means the world to me! So in photoshop when you save, it saves over the original image. I like keeping my original photos for many reasons. Also, save doesn't give you the same options for resizing. You can really only adjust the quality. Export allows you to adjust the pixel dimensions and quality. You choose where exported files go. When you click export the option should pop up for you to pick the location!
@@ByKristinaNicole Thank you for that clarification Kristina! I have another question regarding the dpi. At what dpi are we saving these photos at? is it 72 or should it be 300? It seems that must be determined before exporting because that option doesn't appear on the export page. Also, I read that we should upload low res images to discourage art work form being copied or stolen. I will be selling art prints of my watercolor paintings , fyi. I'm assuming that the 72 would be considered low resolution in this context. Thoughts? Thanks so much!
@@myhoneybirdthere are a lot of misconceptions about this concept and photography! DPI is print based. So it matters when you go to print your images. Won’t matter for the digital side. I will do a quick video for you tomorrow explaining!
This is a brilliant explanation. So glad I found your channel, I'm going through the materials now. Thank you so much for making this explanation.
You are very welcome! Thank you for taking the time to share that you found it useful!
