    Hey Jho, it looks like you did a great job maintaining and growing your fleet in 2022. I just recently decided to fully get into the car rental business and took a chunk of the profit from my Real Estate holdings and rolled it into buying a bunch of cars in December. I see a good opportunity to gain some market share in my local market over the next few months and currently looking to gross over six figures in 2023 as well. Thanks for always putting out great content!

      Thank you and good luck! 1st quarter of the year is usually really slow so it's a great time to start ramping/building up while business is slow.

    Great video, where do you suggest to park a car fleet for free? And how do you compare GA versus Turo?

    • @CarSharingJho
      @CarSharingJho  Год назад +4

      We park ours in front of our friends business. We do that because there is rarely more than 1 or 2 cars sitting for more than 24 hours. Maybe ask around small businesses, churches, public places, etc. As long as the cars aren’t sitting for weeks at a time it should be fine. I’d go as far as offering a business $50 a month per parking spot but not needing more than 2 or 3 at most even with a 10+ car fleet.
      As for Turo vs GA, that’s a tough one. They both have their pros and cons, but overall I like Turo more. GA feels a lot more risky but you do make more ROI. With Turo I feel more at ease and it’s more consistent. I do plan on making a turo vs GA video soon!

    Great job, and awesome value, the real estate is a great move good luck...what GPS tracker do you use, and how did you get all of your cars with no payments? What area are you in that is great for car rentals and real estate rentals? WOW

    • @CarSharingJho
      @CarSharingJho  Год назад +2

      We use TrackMateGPS.
      We started off with 3 cash cars and have just reinvested all the profits to buy more cash cars. That way we don’t have any car payments.
      I am in DFW and 95% of renters are locals that just need a car to get from point A to point B so nothing fancy!

    Hi Jho,
    Thanks for all the content, how do you exchange keys?
    The key box in the windows deal?
    Thanks

      Our GPS tracker has a feature where we can remote lock/unlock the doors. So we keep the key inside the car and the guest just messages me when they arrive.

      You guys really get the job done right!
      Watched many Turo host videos but it was your channel that inspire me to buy a Honda Minivan, I drive the van for Uber XL and rent it at the same time.
      Thanks,

    I want to start this in the Phoenix area. I'm hesitant to begin my business at the closing of the busy season. How well does Turo do in the DFW area during the hot months? (I'm guessing that's a slow tourist season too for you folks)

    • @CarSharingJho
      @CarSharingJho  Год назад +1

      The hot months are the best months in DFW! The slow season for us is January-March.

    What are the different reimbursements you have asked for? Can you list the common as well as not-so-common ones? I would like to know if I am missing out on any potential reimbursements since my percentages are so much lower than yours!

    • @CarSharingJho
      @CarSharingJho  Год назад

      There are only certain reimbursements you can ask for: additional distance, tolls, gas reimbursement and tickets.

      @@CarSharingJho wouldn’t u pay higher insurance on ur vehicles though and is it possible to hold the customer liable to the claim deposit if they caused an accident with ur vehicle.
