Great video! I was thinking of using car putty for adding more cars, but they don't offer that in WA even though they said they did at the Summit. So I decided on going to get a warehouse and use that as my lot for the business. Then getting a dealer license using that location so I can add 20 or so more cars this Summer at dealer wholesale rate and with flooring loans. Wish me luck and congrats on the new house.

Got a renter that returned my car with a tire changed with a different brand, correct size but different brand - says that after getting a flat, the shop couldn’t repaired my tire.
Will you guys be concerned about the miss match tire?

There was 15 cars active (but not year round). Some were added and some were removed throughout the year.

Yes you can choose 60% on new cars, but we have found 75% is the best fit for us

@@Shalapudanton because we financed them with little money down and we believe they will hold their value fairly well for the next 12-18 months. Very rarely do cars come around that we think can hold their value (think Ford Maverick in 2022). It’s a risky bet though.

Conflicting bookings with Turo?
20 cars throughout the year but not 20 cars full time. We have different cars on Turo vs on Getaround.

Where the info on get around?
Getaround has completely changed their app/website so it won't look the same as what we've posted. Also, we are no longer using Getaround at all.
Two items...what is your market? I thought Turo only allows you to rent out vehicles that are 12 yrs or younger. Am I missing something? Thanks...

The cars can be 12 years or younger when you first put them on the platform and get grandfathered in as long as they are issue free. Our 2009s were first placed on the platform in 2021.

Why did you change your strategy
That was and mostly still is our strategy. But we spoke with our friend Andrew ("Winning Strategies of Turo" on RUclips) and learned about some cars that will hopefully experience little depreciation so we thought about giving it a shot!
