This is probably the most informative video I've seen on Turo and getting started. Love this and the channel. The insurance video is a Must-Watch.. Keep up the great work!
This was exactly what I needed. Thank you. I accidentally landed on your video but was perfect. Right timing for me. Hey Tell your husband he is blessed. Not only are you intelligent with business experience but you are stunning. I couldn't just listen to you which I usually do with videos or any audio education but my eyes was stuck on you hypnotized lol 🤣. Thank you. You've given me the right information I needed to start my Toro business at an older age.
Thank you so much for sharing this video. It's exactly the level of detail I needed to get my Turo business started so I appreciate the assist! How do you handle luxury vehicle key fobs? Do you get a separate fob dedicated to Turo or do you use your personal one?
Thank you for the tip for writing the description. That will save me so much time for my next listing. Wish I would have watched this a couple of months ago.
Most informative video I've ever seen. THANK YOU! I have a vehicle that will be 100% safe as soon as I have the new brakes and tires installed. I owe no money on it. It's jun sitting in the garage while the insurance company is getting rich.
Great vid, especially as I am about to buy a car and go onto turo. I guess my strategy is to have the lowest price and greatest flexibility to start off with to get at least some positive reviews then push it back to want I’m comfortable with.
Thanks so much! I think that's a great strategy until you have a few reviews to let people feel comfortable with renting from you. Good luck! Thank you for the very comprehensive video. In the state of Massachusetts you cannot register a vehicle without insurance so, do you need to have additional insurance in Turo for your vehicle or would my existing insurance cover this rental?
You're very welcome! Yes, to rent out your car in the U.S., you will need to choose a Turo plan, which will cover the car while it's on a trip. You will still need to keep your personal insurance though, but please make sure to know the risks concerning your personal insurance. I created a video on it recently, you can check it out ruclips.net/video/AV4s6cIFwG4/видео.htmlsi=O1VCxQwWVhzvXna8 or just read on it on Turo's site: help.turo.com/detailed-explanation-of-protection-plans-or-us-hosts-ByMOIVxEc Good luck!

Very Informative. Thanks a lot. Am I obligated to use Stripe as a payment gateway or can I use any other online banks like wise or revolute? And how do I have the TuroGo remote unlock feature in my car?? Thanks again 🙏
Thanks! So glad! Currently, they only work with Stripe. As for Turo Go, your car needs to be a compatible car. They have a list, (see link below) I'm not sure how updated it is, but if it's on there (in green,) then you're most likely good. It uses SmartCar's API, however, there are some cars that SmartCar is compatible with, yet they won't work for Turo Go, such as most Hyundai's. Once you've had 3 trips on your account, if your car is compatible, it will show up in the Turo Go section so that you can set it up. If you think it is compatible, but it doesn't show up, then reach out to Turo support. FYI - If you have any other questions, you may want to check out the livestream later today! ruclips.net/user/livesV9xQoax4_o support-resources.turo.com/turo-go/Turo_Go_Smartcar_Compatibility_US.pdf

Hello…can I put a car on TURO that’s in perfect condition but had a small fender bender, it’s fixed and looks like it never had a bender but it has a rebuilt title
I own an used car dealership and want to start renting them out, can I rent a car with dealer plates or what do you recommend as a work around. 20 Car fleet.
I have two financed cars, a 2018 Cadillac Escalade and a 2022 Tesla model s plaid, both cars as I've stated are financed. Can I put the escalade on Turo? Been reading around and am getting mixed responses. Please advice.
You're definitely not alone in wondering about this-there’s a lot of mixed info out there. While I don’t know the exact numbers, it’s safe to assume that a significant number of cars on Turo are financed. Personally, I’ve had financed cars on the platform for years without any problems. It’s always a good idea to check your financing agreement, just in case it has any restrictions around commercial use. The key thing is to make sure you’re always on time with your payments and in good standing with the bank. That said, if the bank does find out you’re listing the car on Turo and they have restrictions against it, one possible consequence, is that they could call the loan due, meaning you’d have to pay off the balance right away. While I haven’t personally come across anyone who’s had this happen, it’s something to keep in mind as a possibility. Hope that helps! If you have any other questions, check out my upcoming livestream later today: ruclips.net/user/livesV9xQoax4_o
If it doesn't create a conflict for you, then you should let them know and ask them to please modify the trip through the app, or call Turo if they run into any issues. The system will automatically charge any additional fees that apply.
Hi my question is first time user do I need turbo insurance and liberty insurence also catylac converter missing off car replace with straight pip will that be a problem my car is 2010 is it to old to list. Thank you
Hi, unfortunately, in the U.S., the car needs to be no more than 12 years old and have less than 130,000 miles. As for the insurance, yes, you would still need both, you may want to check out my insurance video for more details on that, and as for the missing cc, although unfortunately it's irrelevant in this case, since the car doesn't meet the age requirement, but just for future reference, it'll be required to undergo inspection, and that will most likely cause it to fail. Good luck. help.turo.com/en_us/vehicles-we-accept-rylmrNl45
I'm wondering what happens if I gave in the vehicle and it's close to the year or mileage requirements for example its 11 and a half years old or its 120,000 MI I will appreciate your answer thank you so much for your information
Hi, if you mean, what happens if you list the vehicle close to their limits, .... you're fine. They allow it to stay on past those limits, you just can't list it for the first time once it's past those. Please let me know if that's not what you meant. Thanks

@@EngineerUrLife I want to know how we handle tolls if the person don't have a E-ZPass, will it go on your personal records or as long it's registered that it's a rental vehicle it's not your responsibility or maybe they can put me in huge trouble if they passed a lot of tolls, i will greatly appreciate if you can explain, thank you so so much for your time.
So I just watched the orientation videos and now my vehicle is "will be available in an hour" but I'm not ready for that. Do I delete listing?? How can I pause until I'm ready to rent it out??
No worries, you can unlist it until ready. >>> Choose Vehicles from Host menu > Select listing > Change vehicle status to “Unlisted”. Then change again when ready to list. (You can also snooze, which means you select a specific time when it'll automatically be relisted, but best bet is to just unlist for now.)

You pay by choosing from one of their plans, which are a % of revenue, and vary depending on coverage and deductible amounts. Check out my insurance video and let me know if you have any questions.
Yes, I haven't found anything that says you can't; some of my cars have had. However, if they are the illegal ones and the guest gets a ticket, you'd be responsible for paying it.
The toll transponder is attached to the car, and then at the end of the trip, you bill them for whatever tolls they incurred. You don't have to do that, but it's more convenient for them and since I think most hosts do it, I think all hosts should, just to stay competitive.
