Medically there is "no problem" and I'm not losing hair; it's just not growing. So if anything here works, I'll know for sure it's legit.

@@Backenddkd there's a difference between a deep conditioning and a leave in conditioner. For deep conditioners apply it and leave it on for 15-30 minutes then wash it out. For leave in conditioners leave it in till your next wash day.

Hi, my hair is low porosity too and I've been growing it for 3years plus now. My advice, always ensure your hair is properly moisturized, always deep condition your hair with heat(steam cap) for 30mins every washday. Hydrate your hair first before you apply your leave in conditioner. Avoid using heavy weight products cause low porosity hair type is prone to product buildup. Be sure to wash your every two weeks max, eat fruits and always sleep with your silk bonnet or pillow case. Lastly, stay hydrated!
Moisturizing method I use is Liquid- water, Cream- Leave-in-conditioner, Oil- Growth oil or any thick oil then cream- Whipped shea butter or hair growth cream. Moisturize like 4 times max every day.
