I think hair growth get slow when you actually want them to grow, idk time is weird
because u start worrying about it, when u don't want ur hair to grow tall u don't worry about it
more you keep looking at it everyday you think its not growing fast but if you just forget about it in a couple months you'll be like oh wow grown alot.
Well I think generally if you starting from a buzzcut and you want like a decent length ponytail for example it's gonna take you close to 2 years so yeah patience and stay healthy!
It took my friend from a buzz cut to a ponytail in 11 months

I grew out my hair for a year and it was quite long. The "awkward phase" is usually where people quit. My tips is to let it grow overtime, wash your hair properly, and eat healthy. You can also rock a beanie or baseball cap if you're going out.
would you reccomend getting a maintenace cut when your hair is very unbalanced and looks out of place? i can't decide if I should let it grow out or cut it a bit and then grow it out
@@nob0ddy390 As for me, my right was longer than my left side so it's a bit awkward by the time I got it long. My recommend is to yes balance both sides or even the top so it is balanced out. Just make sure your barber doesn't cut it too much though. All the best on the journey!

@@iKenZ yea, I won't trim it until i get to my goal again, cuz barbers here don't listen to u even if u tell them what do u want for a thousand times they would do whatever they want to ur hair, that’s indeed sucks im so pissed about my previous start i waited patiently for 2 years for my goal and then all of the process faded away in 15 mins.

I went from having a pixi cut to a long bob (shoulder length) in a year, it took a lot of patience. I wash my hair once a week and look after my scalp, working from home helped 😂

It's usually takes 2 years to get a long hair near your jaw. But it depends on your hair

I like to think I eat healthy. I just buzzed mine in February and it's only at 2 inches here in July. I do have gastritis and IBS so it's a possibility that prevents my hair growth +genetics. My hair used to grow fast when I was a kid to I'd say about 27 years old, but now that I'm 30 it's going slightly grey and growing slow.

I buzz cut my hair 1/4 inch from my scalp October of last year, and I started taking biotin in early November and I’ve been taking it ever since, but I haven’t gotten a single inch more of growth than usual! Right now, I don’t have but like 2 inches of hair on my head! You would think 10,000 mcg of biotin, which was my daily dose, would help me grow at least an inch of hair a month, and I’d be sitting here with 5 inches of hair on my head and a chin length bob! But noooo!!

I've always washed my hair once a week because its baby fine, my last haircut was the worst haircut I've ever had, she about balded me on the right side of my head and left it a lot longer and heavier on the left side. So I had to figure out how to style it differently so it's not as obvious. I'm using baby shampoo to wash it and trying different oils, home remedies to try to get it to grow faster, wearing a hat and learning how to tie a scarf on my head before winter gets here.
And when I wear it the way she cut it, I'm just telling everyone I know its awful. Then telling them where I got it cut so she won't be given an opportunity to ruin anyone else's hair. So good luck with your new business lady because I'm quite sure that I could have gone to your neighbor nextdoor, the dog groomer and gotten a better haircut and spent less money.

Growing for exactly 6 months at this moment. Started from about 6-7 cm, now my hair on its longest part is about 18-19cm, about 2-3 weeks ago my ears got covered, my goal is growing everything to the chin or maybe a little lower

Hey i want to ask something, my hair is naturally wavy, is wavy hair good for hair growing? I really wanted to have long hair though, and my parents always told me to cut them out and she says "you look like a homeless person"
Fr I feel ya. I can't count the amount of times I hear that from family. "When ya gonna cut it?" "You look homeless/you'll look homeless." "Longer hair isn't very tidy/clean." And so on lol.
I'm sticking it out though and want to reach my goals regardless of what people think. So I'd say just go for it too if that's what you really want. And as tempting as it might get at points, resist the urge to cut it all short again if ya wanna grow it because I've caved in and done that a few times before and regretted it. Also I think your hair type would still be good for growing it out may still take time in general sure but I believe you can do it. X 💙 c: 🌸

What’s crazy is my hair has always been very thick & grew so fast after I get a haircut but after I took Nioxin shampoo + conditioner it’s been coming out dry & my hair is growing so slow which never happened to me before. @@tuanabashir428 honestly I would recommend you do research & change the shampoo & conditioner you’re using. Another thing is don’t shampoo & condition every single day. I seen a little progress on mine when I started doing that, but every men’s hair is different. Shampoo 2-3 a week but use conditioner 4 times a week.
