I am really feeling sad, I follow your videos but today I feel bad, you are inspiration of mine so what do you suggest if newbie like me want to learn because I have rented office at Ghotki city in Sindh and I thought like you that I will do something that will make me more productive and added my friends in it but after sometime my team members just wasting time to watch movies, tiktok etc at office and waste their time and my time as well. so should I join you. I need your suggestion.
I can relate with you. Leading a team is a very hard task and Quality GameDev in itself, is not an easy feat to achieve. But you should change your approach everytime there's a failure. That's what I do.
You can join me on-site (already had troubles with handling members remotely) but I also know that it is very inconvenient so, it is okay if you couldn't.
Maybe you are doing this too early. Few Pakistani studios like Game district mindstorm etc are getting some international recognition atleast what i can see from thier Social media.
Could be but we are not stopping though: just broken the shackles of 'filling the lab' and 'making investment useful' mindset. Sialkot is a hub of exporters and this is the dominating field here.
So now, its free to learn here which means we can actually focus on establishing ourselves as a game studio rather than a training institute.
Its sad to see such video. I hope things will be better for you in future. I think you are not at the right location. Also you should focus on creating new sale avenues such as freelancing and hiring interns first and giving them jobs later on when they become proficient and your revenue gets rolling.
Yes, location is a huge problem. And that's exactly the plan: being practical, setting up our stance as a productive game studio and actually doing freelancing. Internships is the way to go! Thanks. 😁💯
