Quality wise it's a very good and long lasting frag. For me the watery opening and the ambroxan (oh why is that stuff in almost any new frag) don't work for me. I rediscovered the Cologne version and that one blew me away. It's a true Jacques Polge masterpiece. Absolutely one of the best citrus perfumes ever. I love the way you look. You have a wonderful elegant voice and a lovely unique style. Chanel perfumes are the best in my humble opinion. "My poor wallet".🌻❤

Hi Dacob. Thank you for the thoughtful review. I had not made the patchouli connection with Coco M. So I had to wear it again today. I love it. I also wear Antaeus and Egoiste. I can’t wear Pour Monsieur . My dad wore Egoiste and original Allure and they have a special place in my heart. Thanks again ❤

Thank you for the review Dacob ❤. The OG Allure Homme was one of my first love fragrances in the 90s and hold a special place in my heart. I find the cologne sport version really wonderful as well. This one was a rare miss for me in the world of Chanel fragrances. The opening is lovely, but to my nose the mid and dry down feels like an Ambroxan bomb al la Dior Sauvage which unfortunately is headache inducing to my nose. I never made a Coco Mademoiselle connection, I’ll have to try it again and try and sniff that out! I’m hoping whenever the next fully new male release comes out it’s something new and unexpected.
This one is a sort of mystery in a way… like… why would they even make it… haha
@@essence-tiallydacob9611 Agreed, it’s the most “bro-ish” fragrance they’ve ever made. A category that’s very un-Chanel at its core, in my opinion. I just hope this is not the direction they continue to take for future men’s line releases.
I respect your opinion always but this one didn’t hit for me. I’ve worn it 4 times and the base smells a lot like the OG Allure Homme base with some patchouli and it opens a lot like a less creamy Allure Homme Sport. C’est la vie!

This is really growing on me! I especially like the patchouli dry down as you mentioned. Coco Mademoiselle is my mom’s favorite perfume and I appreciate that Chanel made a similar perfume but for men.
The patch definitely feels very familiar in this one 💖

Hello Dacob. Just checked your batch code 0302 on Check Fresh and it says production date is April 2026… this adds even more to the confusion
Because it’s not a batch code. It’s a production number because it’s a limited edition.
@@itstimmer It is a batch code. Check fresh website has never worked well for Chanel codes. They were already in the nines this year, so this one was released with a zero.
Chanel batch codes repeat every 8 years. 0302 was produced 8 years ago, in 2016 (April), as per check fresh website (e same website you are quoting). I am sure your math is at bro level so let me count eight years for you: 2016 plus 8 equals 2024… gee I wonder what year we are in right now? Hmmm… 🤔

Just fyi… I have several bottles of Superleggera and EACH ONE OF THEM has the same BATCH code because those are batch codes and not limited edition numbers.
