Looks like the weather was kind to you. the wife and i called in while on a cruise a few years ago and we were hit by a massive storm, the walkway down from the top of the village was like a raging torrent, still loved the place though. stay safe guys.
This town is one of my favorite in the world. I was blessed to have lived in Italy in San Vito de Normanni for 3 years in the mid 80's while I was in the Air Force. Alberobello was a nice get away for the weekend and only an hour away. I hope you will stop in San Vito and in Brindisi. The end of the Apian Way is in Brindisi! I spent many an evenings watching the sun set over the harbor on the steps of the Apian Way. Benny I hope you sit on those steps and sing us a song... that would be epic! Loving your vids. I’ve just came back from a ski trip in Italy. I tried those wafer biscuits you mentioned. Very nice. Try a drink called (bombardino) as long as you’re not driving.. OMG very very very nice.. enjoy the rest of your trip

Love those buildings. Couldn't live where they are. You would say I live in the middle of nowhere. If I go straight west from my house for a thousand miles I'd cross one dirt road that dead ends and the Alaska Railroad. Then a bit of ocean to Siberia. Too many rivers to cross walking. Best done in a boat or winter with a dog sled. Thanks for taking us along.

Have you ever tried the soft, spongey earplugs? I never travel without them!!! They work wonders! Nothing worse than traveling and not sleeping. Perhaps give them a try❤

Amazing. I’ve never been to the south of Italy. I somehow always end up following the “Centro” signs to the middle of a town or city. In Sienna I had to back through a crowded cobblestone street over a rickety narrow bridge. So, avoid the “Centro.”
I believe one difference is that Gelato is made with more milk and less cream than ice cream.
Bet Benny filled his back pack up with the Vodka!😀 rofl.

Hey guys I know you are probably inundated with suggestions but on the way back up towards the north I highly recommend Recanati, my family are from there and it’s beautiful. Well worth seeing.

The roof tops are similar to Skelligs in Ireland
Drink wine in the morning if ya want.....better still have a champagne breakfast. Have a siesta and go catch a fish and have a vodka with the sun going down. There's no rules. You wont find Lager louts on the streets of Italia.
They had a key stone which could be removed ,allowing the roof to collapse if an inspector came to see whether the building had been completed,tax was due upon completion of the building.

If the milk curds in cheese is okay for a vegetarian diet, why is rennet not acceptable? Rennet and milk are both liquids produced by ruminants.

What amazingly different spots you are visiting, and staying in. I can imagine those trulli are cozy in winter. The boar, i had an Italian friend who wore an insignia on his cap, Cinghale. Nice that the boar visited you. I think its good luck

I nicknamed that bread= Elephant`s foot. lol I wonder why it has this distinctive shape as in some ways it makes it less practical to use e.g defo wouldn`t go in the toaster, harder to cut ???

Ok. I have watched your videos for a long time.. you are both vegan. I have got to tell you that is proven that plants are alive and have feelings. Just saying. Give thanks for anything that gives you Life.i cut down a plant today that is considered a weed. I ate it and thanked it fo r giving us food! lové the videos and musuc!
I think gelato is made from water and ice cream from Dairy? ok I looked it up, gelato is made with more milk and less cream than ice cream. It is denser and silkier than ice cream which is softer and creamier.😊❤

cow rennet is just a set of enzymes, and it's used in 99% of italian cheeses

What a beautiful and interesting village, and such antiquity! Looking at that one picture of the residents in 1920 it's amazing to see how fashions have changed in only the last 100 years. I wonder what people dressed like in the 14th century when they were first building all this. Oh, and all the food and goodies... Looks like you could spend a whole week there just sampling everything. Everything looks so much more relaxed and low stress there. Looks like it would be a nice place to spend the summer! Can't wait to see what's next!
