Like you say, paraphrased, to each his own. Wonderful explanation and demonstration. I was taught the other way and quit making boxes as I was messing up the cuts, two tabs on one side, none on one, and if I got it right and then put glue on two tabs I ended up with glue on me😟. A proper demo and verbiage is so very important, you have that down pat !! Thank you for this demo as now I understand why the other method did not work for me. Little details to please the eye.

Well, this was an eye opener. For years, I've made the boxes for my card(s) the second way. I thought they always turned out beautiful. Especially, after I would add tissue paper on the inside and decorate the top. I had just never observed the seams until you pointed it out. It makes total sense! Thank you so much. I've really been enjoying your videos. xo

It’s a shame that we are in a world where you have to stress so much that it’s your personal preference, but you’re right to. I’ve seen so many comments on videos by people who have taken offence at one thing or other and it’s been very clear in the video that no judgements were being made. I prefer your way, I feel like there’s more control in the building of it, and of course the seam reason. Thanks again for another fab video 🙂💕😂

AND IF YOU DO NOT CUT OUT THE SCORE LINE PROPERLY IT DOES NOT FIT RIGHT AND YOU HAVE TO GO IN AGAIN AND CUT IT CORRECTLY TO GET A GOOD FINISH that is my experience .
