Thanks so much , once again, there was a scrapbook store in our town several years ago and their motto was “ It’s your art and it can’t be wrong”… I always think of that when I’m papercrafting!!
Shut the noise! That was brilliant... sliding the envelope under the pages to secure it! 😮😊 I don't know how you do it Sherry. But keep on.. please! You are so innovative. And an amazing instructor. Know you are loved and appreciated❣️
Thank you for the follow up on your junk journal! I love the pocket envelope idea, I hadn't thought to add an envelope that way. You are so talented, Sherry AND modest. I appreciate the time you take to learn from your expertise. Happy crafting!
Oh, thank you for this! I want to make a couple of journals for the grandkids. One with a dragon/baseball theme for the boy and a music/art one for the girl. I love they can be personalized. Updated: the younger boy was more interested in stickers and baseball cards, so I ended up making your paper bag wallet and used a band for the cards and then pockets for the stickers. He loved it. I am planning a little junk journal with a dragon theme for Christmas with lots of stickers. Maybe with a faux leather cover. The girl is fourth grade and I’m now following this video for a mixed media journal: writing, sketching with a mini notebook for pressing flowers. Thanks for all your creative ideas and your clear instructions to help us achieve them! You are the best!
Very cute shirt. I've watched quite a few junk journal tutorials and there's so many ways to do them. I hadn't seen pockets done like that so I learned something new. Thank you.
Hi Sherry, Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful knowledge. A lot of stuff you share is very new to me and I always learn something good from you. Thanks again!
I know you probably can’t do this, but maybe you can consider it. That journal was so spectacular, and every single page looked magical. Perhaps you would consider devoting one day a week out of giving us a tutorial of the pages in your journal. Maybe it would take a month or two for us to learn how you did all of your pages, but they are so beautiful. I think you would have an audience for it. Either way, I just want to thank you for bringing this journal to our attention. The way you make it would never ever occur to me. I think you are such a genius, engineer, and artist. Hugs from me. ❤
I hope your daughter is making a shirt that says “Be the reason someone smiles today.” That is my favorite Posh Paper Lady saying! I love the junk journal. I am going to have to try at least one. ❤❤❤
This was Awesome!! Thank you for this!! Really makes this very easy to grasp very fast!! TFS Ms Sherry!! You really are an Excellent teacher an This breakdown was Fantastic!! 💚💙💜❤️🦋🌻🫂🥰
Lovely journal! I've been making Junk Journals for just over a year and half. I love the process of adding "this or that". I have found it easier to have emphemra made up ahead of time. Ever now and then I make a collage up with certain themes or decorative tags or window envelopes ect. I'm working on a jumbo Alice in Wonderland Junk Journal with 50 pages. ( Or 100 folded) I collected free images, along with purchasing digital journal prints. My favorite journal theme is vintage. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing the process you used to make your junk journal. Just so you know I love 🥰 your junk journal so when I get myself together I will be making one. You’re awesome Sherry and we appreciate you sharing your talents with us. ❤👏🏾🙏🏾
I make a lot of JJournals and I really liked your idea of stapling on the 2 ends. It seems a lot easier to run your paper’s through the middle of each page. I wouldn’t have to sew now down the center. Thanks Sherry ❤😊
Thank you Sherry. I am going to make one of these myself very soon when I complete some of my unfinished projects that I have started but have not completed . Have a wonderful day
Dude!! I was soooooo happy to see this! As soon as I saw the title, I hit that play button, knowing my question would be answered…. So ingenious using the comp cover and tucking in the envelopes. Next, I was waiting for the insight on your outside edge envelope flip-outs… so excited for the reveal…. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 and then not. Girl, you got me hooked like a fish! 😂😂😂😂😂. Please know I’m one of MANY MANY people who are grateful for all you do and share ❤❤❤ not pestering you for the down-low, just wanted to give you a chuckle. You did such a great job on this. Love ya and be blessed!!
I really enjoy seeing your talent come to life in diverse crafting . I like this journal and I enjoyed the scrapbook pages that you’ve made . Thanks for everything! Also, I’ve never thought about how you did the pockets … by putting them on different pages and through the middle of unstapled papers …. I love this idea and how they pop up in the back pages!
Thank you so kindly for explaining various aspects of how you made your journal. Like how you stapled it on the ends only and then are able to add whatever's in between the pages. I usually sew mine, but I'll try this way on a smaller one & see how it goes. Be well, be safe & TYFS
I want to add that I will look into your daughter’s shirts. They sound great. I would love to take a tote like your t-shirt to a crop night, too. Just another idea for her if she is interested in expanding her product options to tote bags.
Thank you once again. I really like journals but not sure that I’ll do one. If the bug hits I know where to turn. You’re so creative. Hope you’re having a wonderful day!
❤ Thank you so much! You make everything so simple even i can do it. I am so glad you did this video. Maybe soon I can make my first junk journal 😊 but I have soon many of your crafts to try 😅😂
Thank you so much for sharing how you did your junk journal. Very helpful for when I do my next one! I'm really on a vintage kick these days so i really love your paper! Love your shirt and the saying and think this might be a must have so will check it out! 💙
Thank you Sherry. I went back and watched your previous video so I could see what you actually did. I have one more question: how did you staple so many pages in? I counted at least 12 pieces of paper. I also have a long arm, but struggle to staple more than 7 pages! I love how you just stapled on the ends so you could slide more smaller pages in the middle! Ingenious! I'm new to junk journals....this type is more my speed!
Hi Sherry. I was thinking since you remove all the pages in the copy book, why not use one of the beautiful folders or poster board cut to size. Then insert the pages as you did. Thank you for sharing ❤ 😊
THANK YOU! That is so less fiddly than what I have seen in videos. My doc wants me to keep a journal to track some issues we are trying to figure out what is going on. I think a cute journal just might keep me on task. One question: What the heck did I do with my long arm stapler?
I think the envelope that everyone is asking about from the original video was on the OUTSIDE edge of a page. That’s why we all want to know how you attached it. 😊
Hi Sherry, beautiful simple technique! Now, you mentioned that you love to use wallpaper. I have a TON of wallpaper samples and I'd love to find those videos using wallpapers. Tips on finding them or shall I just send you some?!
Very nice. You are excellent with paper crafts.❤
Thanks so much , once again, there was a scrapbook store in our town several years ago and their motto was “ It’s your art and it can’t be wrong”… I always think of that when I’m papercrafting!!
Love the envelope idea who would've thunk it
I think your journal is beautiful. I would have never thought of creating the inserts the way you did.
I love your t-shirt! I think there are no rules in crafting! I love to try different types of crafts. It's my fun time.
Quick n easy way to get the little extras in. Perfect!
That shirt is PERFECT!!! Your daughter did a great job!
I loved the Alice theme, and this really helps getting started!
Shut the noise! That was brilliant... sliding the envelope under the pages to secure it! 😮😊 I don't know how you do it Sherry. But keep on.. please! You are so innovative. And an amazing instructor.
Know you are loved and appreciated❣️

Your journal is so sweet. I wonder if you could use those daily planners from the dollar tree, or something similar? Love the shirt too.
Thank you Sherry. I went back and watched your previous video so I could see what you actually did. I have one more question: how did you staple so many pages in?
