I’m such a dork! Right at the beginning of this video, I noticed the sign on the wall behind you. Your head was blocking the letter D, so what I read was, “live your ream.” I just thought, “What a clever play on words! She’s the Paper Lady and a ream is a unit of paper!” 😂
As always, thank you. Due to your inspirational videos I created a stationery gift set for a friend's birthday. I used decorative paper from Hobby Lobby cut it down and folded them for blank cards. Those fit the envelopes I bought from Hobby Lobby. I added inspirational sentiment stickers, blank paper for writing someone a note, post card size decorative paper, ink pens, stamps, and pens. I used Avery address labels and my computer created and printed a sheet of labels with her address. I also created envelope seals with her last name in the center of the circle. I put all of this in a 6x6 paper storage box. Please keep inspiring us to be creative.
Oh, wow! Using an old book to make a new one saves on some supplies. My library has a used book sale and if I get a book there I would be up-cycling and helping out the library! This project is genius! Thanks Sherry!
Another idea for heavy weight chipboard is when school is out, kids throw away binders. When you peel away the plastic, you have chipboard for free. Great way to recycle
As much as I learn from your videos, your voice is so relaxing I can have a playlist of your videos running in the background while I'm working. You are a great teacher! Thank you for your content.
I love watching you create. You have the most beautiful technique! The way you handle the finger blade is magic! I don’t know why a need a bullet journal, but I may just make one like this. Thank you for all the inspiration. ❤
Sherry, it's the little details you include in your videos, like how you stand up to make sure you get things in the best positioning, that really make me appreciate your tutorials. Your work is so beautiful, and you really inspire me! Thank you! xoxo ~Robin
Awesome ideas, love that wrapping paper that you used, sometimes I will use $ tree's vinyl to cover books OR even cardboard boxes for storage containers. I love using old cookbooks for journals as well. Thank you for sharing, love your vlogs!
OMG!! This is soooo wonderful iidea! Especially if we didn't have chip board. What a win win situation! I love the idea of having pockets on the inside covers as well.. The corner embellishments were very classy and perfect too!! Boy I have soo many things to do!! I can't decide which one first!! I do need to get anime paper and stickers. That's what my grand daughter and her boyfriend like.. Thank again for these marvelous and creative ideas!! Stay safe!👍👏🤗
Tip for Dollar Tree: when they don’t have something you want check out their website. I ordered several items this way. I have them shipped to store for free.
Some book shops that let you trade have some hardbacks for free, and if you ask some that, they just throw away. They gladly give them to you. Just check with them. Keep it in mind that if you love to read, you might end up in there browsing and finding some books you want to buy to read. I usually end up with 3 or more extra books. This is a great project. The inside can be folded to make a tree or angel. As a kid in school, we made trees from Readers Digest. I bet some of the older people will remember it. Thanks 🤗😇
I would like to take a childrens’ book and add pages into it and create an interactive art type journal along with the story pages! Not sure of how I am going to do this yet …. But.. I think if I get a cheap hardback book to deconstruct… I can add the kids book pages as well as interactive pieces!!
Love the use of old book. I couldn't find the bulletin journals but instead found tabbed journalsl. I may go ahead and give this journal a try as I use tabbed pages like crazy. Then I can jot down craft ideas/instructions in one section, recipes in another, and Cricut notes/ ideas in another... you get the idea! Thank you Sherry for all your creative ideas and time invested in demonstrating construction. God bless
Happy New Year Sherry!🎉 I hope 2023 brings you much joy, lots of love, happiness and plenty of laughter. Here’s to a wonderful year ahead full of beautiful blue nails. But most of all have fun with crafting and your family. Much love, smiles and heaps of hugs from Australia ❤️❤️🐨❤️❤️ 🎉🎉🎉
I love this idea. Would love to make a "pocket" so you can use the tablets and reuse the cover with a new pad. Thank you for all of your inspirations!!
I'll need to check out the "crappy books" at my DT on my next visit. This is a great way to make the journals or the planner. On my list. Be well, be safe & TYFS
I'm glad to see you're back to crafting beautiful projects for 2023. I love this journal idea, and the idea of recycling is great for the future of papercrafting. I may need yo look through some of my old books and create something new and beautiful 😍

One of a kind gifts for friends are always a big hit - ❤
You find the most beautiful wrapping paper.
I never tire of watching you take a sow's ear and turn it into a silk purse!
Using old wall paper sample books for the front would work awesome and the coordinating pieces cut down put on some of the pages for accents
The pencil holders sold out because of you! That aisle was my first stop at my Dollar Tree. 🙂
Hopefully they will restock them soon😀

You can make paper beads from the pages. They can be painted.
Then use them as embellishments.
I love watching you create. You have the most beautiful technique! The way you handle the finger blade is magic! I don’t know why a need a bullet journal, but I may just make one like this. Thank you for all the inspiration. ❤
