#5 Photos, NO! Years ago I stopped at a boat ramp near a bridge and I was taking pictures of exposed cover due to the water being low. I probably took 50 pictures, there were a LOT of stumps and laydowns exposed. When I got back to the vehicle my wife (Not a fisherman) asked what I was doing? I replied taking pictures and her comment was WHY? She pointed out to me that maybe the picture I took wasn't in focus? She asked wouldn't it be easier just to video? I Love Her! Yes! Not only would I be able to see the stump I was photographing/video but maybe there was a boulder there too? I could play the video back which showed the entire shoreline. I could stop the video and capture 1 frame? In a video you have literally hundreds of frames/pictures! So I would suggest changing #5 to shooting a short video? Great video, keep up the great work. GOD Bless
My man, dropping some knowledge. I greatly appreciate it. Going tomorrow to Sinclair in GA, but are Temps supposed to drop 15 degrees tonight...sfter all this rain.. not looking good. Thanks for all you're videos. Best of luck always.
Scouting structure when water levels are low is a great tip. So much easier to find fish in regular conditions if you know there is something down there for the fish to hide in
Prefect timing. My local reservoir is being drained, just in 2 trips I've found bass where they normally don't reside. I'm guessing it's due to the thermocline when the lake is up. And now they can't hide in the EXTREMELY thick lillies because that's dry now. They also seem to be more aggressive when I fight them. Our lake is SUPER murky, like maybe 4 inches visibility. I think the oxygen levels are pretty low usually, so now that the water is low is almost like they are in a panic fall frenzy. Idk, maybe it's just me.
The Photo point is a very interesting Idea. A suggestion; for those of us without a GPS, make sure in your photo to include a key terrain, so you will be able to locate the exact spot when the water level comes back up. I don't always get phone service at some of the lakes I fish.
You have to figure what that plane is and why they are always interrupting you. Great Vid though. Most of the lakes in California are in this right now.
It’s definitely getting to be that time of year for sure! We’ve got a tournament this Saturday on Douglas out of Dandridge looking forward to getting out there!
@@BassFishingHQ Ohio has decent fisheries as well but dale hollow is my favorite spot to go, not many people know this but the WORLD record small mouth was caught in Dale hollow at nearly 12 pounds
Great points. Being as I fish from the bank, I have to kind of work an area and feel for structure or depth changes as I go.
Always appreciate your content, thanks for helping me through my first 6 months of bass fishing

Great video! I learned a couple of things to try next time I have low water on my home lake.

Thank you great information and video 📹 👍
nice tips. the bad thing where i moved to near kentucky lake. there doesnt seem to be bluff walls. which i loved at castaic in california.
I have fished Kentucky a few times. I do believe there is some bluff walls over on the East side of Kentucky
Awesome video dude. You see when I go fishing on my Army Base here in Kentucky. I have Army Helicopters nearly skating the water....LOL
Probably trolling a crank bait.
You have to figure what that plane is and why they are always interrupting you. Great Vid though. Most of the lakes in California are in this right now.
Who knows. Probably dropping something on me
Awesome info Ty! JORDAN will watch it soon!

One of the best bites I have been on was up the river on Douglas when the lake was falling

What is the best topographical map to use?
What If your lake is down over 50ft and is at 6%?? (I'm from central Cal)
Are you from Kentucky? I noticed the Dale hollow lake map, one of my favorite fishing spots
I live in Ohio but have fished all over the country
@@BassFishingHQ Ohio has decent fisheries as well but dale hollow is my favorite spot to go, not many people know this but the WORLD record small mouth was caught in Dale hollow at nearly 12 pounds

Thanks for everything great video got a question what hook do you use ewg 1/0 I have been using gamakutsa and been breaking them 10 and 12 lbs flor
1/0 EWG seems pretty small to me but you still shouldn’t be breaking them
@@BassFishingHQ maybe I got a couple bags of bad hooks I know it is small but the bait I fish it is small but it works and smallmouth love it
How would I contact you if I’d like to send you an email?
I am planning to do a Q & A here in the near future. That might be the best bet
@@BassFishingHQ it’s business related.
