Oh shit, so close to my setup. I have TR8S, TD3, Octatrack, A4, MC707 with a DJM800 mixer. I like the keyboard idea, that's where my octatrack sits, I use it for delay and filter DJ EFX.

Hi! Welches Gerät nutzt du für die voice samples? Und was hat dich dazu bewogen, einen zweiten AR anzuschaffen? Einfach mehr spuren? Oder mischst du mit dem dj mixer zwischen beiden geräten hin und her und hast auf beiden vollständige tracks laufen? finde deinen workflow faszinierend, bin selbst auf elektrons unterwegs aber lange nicht so geschickt wie du, gefällt mir unheimlich gut! großes lob und weiter so!

Very very nice performance! Sounds just proooff!!! Only pitty for me: I think it would have been better to have a Machine Drum instead of a double set of Rytm Machine drum has a lot of sound specs which rytm can't afford , and viceversa, but that is just really personal view..... Little question: how do you use you mixer here?
Fabbro Uba Uba mixer is for transition between songs ;-) left rytm = track one, right is track two, left track three, ect. I owned a MD and I will be own one in the future :p.

so you run songs separately? I don't get this , as I run all over one sequencer only. Song is one for me, never got this multiple songs going

yes but? wth , you change pattern/song only from one master , how it possible you connect machines that are doing diametrically opposite things?
Fabbro Uba Uba I change patterns manually on the elektrons I want seperate. I do not use the recieve pattern change function because sometimes my analog 4 chain is 4 patterns and my rytm only one with a lot of conditianal trigs. It's a other workaround but it makes dj style liveset possible.

Was this all planned out as an arrangement in the octatrack or was it much more 'winging it', improvisational approach? Im still getting the hang of my new octatrack anbd interested in your workflow(i have the mopho and tempest for my Octatrack to play with) Well put together either way, nice set.
Nuclear Whale Every Pattern+kit is premade in long studio sessions lol. But I rehearsed the set only once.^^ BTW its not an octatrack ;)

So you're not using an octatrack or digitakt for sampling duties but rather another analog rytm? I guess it wouldve been possible to sequence the analog keys with a OT/DT but why bother if you already have a sequencer there and can switch programmes with the rytm.
I dont switch programs (patterns) from one device. I need to switch patterns on all device because I use different chains on each device. As you can see in newer videos, i got rid of the MnM and bought an extra A4 so I can have the same song duo left and right of the mixer and mix like a dj between L and R. Sequencing with a DT or octatrack is good for non elektron gear. But if you have a sequencer in the elektron device I rather use that one instead. You dont want to know how much parameter locks and trig conditions I used. Sometimes I got an error, parameter lock memory full: to do that on the octatrack with cc messages would be hell and even not possibl.
