- eWaste recycling is a hard slog, especially when your travelling for small qty's that barely cover fuel & time.
But in the end it's fun and there's lot's of interesting items to play with, recycle and recover metals from.

I love seeing the city and your rides to places gives everyone a chance to see your city and highways. Great load today and great patients on your part.
This is incredible Ben! We love the pick up videos!
I really like your long pickup videos, they are always so interesting 👍👍👍😊
Generally I always ask for pictures of what I'm picking up to avoid that monitor PC issue you had
Thanks Ben, always enjoy riding shotgun on your scrap pickups! 😁👍
Melbourne looks beautiful. I know it's a bit of a hasstle for you to go there, but I enjoyed your banter and the views of that gorgeous city. (I was born in Brussels myself, and now live near Boston in the US,)
First time pick up from museums I see. Interesting!!! 🌟 🌟 🌟 👍
Ben!! Tell them to send you pictures of what the pick up is so you can decline, or tell them that's not acceptable and they can toss it them selves !!
Perhaps you could get the van plywood lined, that way if stuff does slide it won't dint the side.
You don't believe this I'm enjoying this 1hr video yeah :) lot of stuff with nice weather
Have a good day Sir! 🙂👍
Ben you have no idea how much I need this today🙏 an e-waste Ben upload to save the day!!!
Hope your ok
@@brissyboy7164 Thanks Brissy!
Another awesome video Ben .
Melborn looks like Miami a little; nice!
the offices seem like a pain in the ass to work with, at least the first small pick up had it all prepared at the ground level
Thanks for the ride along, enjoyed 👍👍
Awesome pick ups Ben !!, always interesting to tag along and see real time, ewaste pick ups. 👍
EVERYTHING FROM THE TWO PALLETS CAN FIT IN THE BACK OF THE VAN. JUST PLAN THE STACKING.
I want to watch your new scrapping this year 2022 mr ben🙂
All those Pick Ups - well sometimes You get Super Pick Ups and sometimes they are not as Good - that's how the E-Waste Ball bounces ! You got some Great Stuff anyway ! Thanks for the Ride ! Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
More please see all your videos and be safe outside l from the uk in London thanks you
Awesome i love your pick up videos i dont get to do it so i watch a enjoy the ride along the last pickup looked like a beauty ................ Thumbs Up
58:41 - the lead acid batteries are centralised in a cardboard box down the far side. One could almost lift that out clean and clear. One might almost be delinquent enough to have a shot at that. They don't want it or it wouldn't be in there. Have a go with no one around. If it pans then its into the van with it and off with the prize. Doing a battery run anyway.
Love seeing you do your pick ups
The Gps is always updating the route in the city, because the "best" route is always dependent on the traffic. It may change to save 1 min and then a couple mins later change back except you moved 1/2 mile. So then it changes again. It should have an option to not be so sensitive, like 5 min up date instead of 1 min. Google ARE YOU LISTENING?
Fancy elevator, key access only. No buttons. Was that a patio on the 7th floor?
41:29 If that s-vhs works it's money. At least $200.
Ben, Your city looks beautiful ! I enjoy seeing your warm sunny days while our temps here are 0 Celsius. Thanks for the videos mate!
awesome video thanks for sharing!
Treasure hunt ! I love it !!!
I kept getting called away but finally got to watch it all today. What a rollercoaster but the last pick up certainly saved the day! It's been a while since I heard that.....waaaayy PC, made me smile, sure I'm not the only one 🙂👍
You drove right past my building at the start! Very cool :)
Very nice final pickup. Thanks fir the video.
At 41:28 , I recognized that VHS studio unit from "The Ring" (2002) :)
I’m half way through his last video now I need to watch all this too.
would love to see all these scrapped out, and the taken to the scrap yard
Nice video as always 👍a lot of nice finds. that Sony projector must have cost fortune back in the day. Good luck in future scraping adventures.
That's such a beautiful city Ben 😍
just discovered your channel, been doing this kind of thing in the US for a while now, great to see all the interesting things you get over there! Cant wait for the next video :D

Thats an awesome load in my world!
Thats one crazy busy day, well done Ben /cheers ScrapBongo Liked
Great Video Ben Keep Bringing The Videos Dude Nice Pick Up.👍👍
It's soo pretty and clean in Melbourne compared to here In rusty Niagara Falls NY
That would've have really sucked if you didn't have a second job to go to!
Hope you can teach them the basic knowledge of what a desktop pc looks like!
aweszome 👍
The problem with GPS in the city, is there's heaps of interference from the tall building which makes the signal bounce around everywhere, especially if the satellites aren't directly above you.
In NYC, my google maps works perfectly nearly always.
Could be CME's from the sun, its been throwing them out recently my mobile broadband is poor when this happens.
If you have a civilian version of a GPS receiver, outside of USA territory its accuracy decreases very noticeably. It's a security feature. Any NATO milspec GPS receiver will work fine, but you would never get your hands on one of those.
@@firefox-vc6rb what's a cme?
@@southaussiegarbo2054 I guess he is talking about Coronal Mass Ejection - a flare of plasma from the Sun.
surely you could fix some of the more valuable broken stuff up, and sell it on ebay or something. im sure atleast some percent of them are easy fixes
27:07 i thought there are more people walking on the sides like you haha
Maybe one day Illl own a wecycle franchise
Hurray🙂 thank you so much😁
Museums! Brilliant! Nee to add them to my contact list.
Does Florida make you get licensed as an ewaste recycler?
@@mountdesertrock see my about page
@@sharkscrapper ok thanks, so for you it’s more of a hobby, that’s great
Thought that big sony whase a giante alexa 😂😂😂😂
I had a lady tell me once she had a computer I could have...it was an inkjet printer.
You gotta realize most of the people don't know the difference between a furnace and a water heater.
Populations are mostly low iq.
Ben we keep telling you to buy a trailer to connect to the new van so you won't trash it
Definitely would have tested me on those pick ups but that's the nature of the game.
Hi Ben. Very good. 🙂🙂🙂😇😇😇
Glad your staying busy
Great video Ben...finally let the company name slip in a video though. ;)
I live in Denmark! If I were to drive a car in Australia, i would be lost :) all those weird lines makes me confused.
Sir please does gold come out inside the chapu
Anyone else thinking there was 5 tonnes of cat wire in that big dumpster lol
GPS says, "Recalculating route", as one is mistakenly sent over a cliff? (GEICO)
Maybe you could ask them to send photos to you so you can check what you are picking up.
Ben maybe you should ask them to send you a photo of what they want picked up
good day Ben
A bit of a slog doesn't seem to cover the territory, but thanks for the ridealong.
love it
In another video you referred to a buyer in the USA, I am interested in knowing who he is. Thank you
Ben is -robbing- picking up ewaste from three museums in one day.
i run a similar company here in the uk ..and yep we get the same amount of rubbish mixed with the good ..and promised desktops and laptops when they are just routers and switches
hey ben , do you ever fix these e waste?
If you haven't scrapped a mac mini before be aware that they're a pain to disassemble. Unless you're reselling the whole thing just take a hammer to the aluminum case or an angle grinder.
Hey eWBe/n how about you build a wooden box to put in all the lose stuff to better organize the stackable items so that you can fit more of course according to your limit that is. You can put the box on the front wall right in front of the door. It's excruciating watching you playing Jenga lol. Time and money remember? 😉
But if i was to build it i would do a heavy duty plastic bin that slides to the door and tilt to dump the stuff.
nice recorder mate
lovely good for you sounds like you need to drink more water or tea you have dry throat
17:34 where did you put that?
be good if monitors resell
thanks ben grt belgium
I totally get why recording yourself is a good idea. I'm curious though; have you ever had to use the recording to clear up an incident?
Man ya make me jealous
Street scrapping
did any tvs work?
so whats the history behind the weecycle name?
Do you charge a fee for picking up ewaste ?
47:16 "older pc"
... My favorite kind. I mean that sincerely, no sarcasm intended. Main reason being, I'm somewhat a fan of retro pc gaming. Why burn $500+ USD just for the newest (whatever) GPU when I could get an entire machine for less? Sure it might not be able to play the latest triple A titles, but the backlog of amazing games that would be compatible is massive.
silly question. for these pickups. do you pay them money? or do they pay you money? or is there no transaction in terms of cash? i'd like to get into this myself. just curious. thanks!
Free both ways, i provide the removal service, they give their goods
@@eWasteBen can everything be processed?
