I hope all the electric appliances work for you! Was your grabber at home? Maybe Bones was using it! 😂 If it was really humid out like you said, that makes it harder to dig in the dumpsters! No wonder you are both tired. I live in Iowa, and we have a lot of humidity in the summer!

My son works at a college, and says from another who works there..that a lot of the awesome stuff throw away is from the foreign students who can't haul all that stuff back,so they dench it, and redo next time around.😢 And,of course others who just toss and restart next semester because perhaps no storage too place and to cumbersome.

My upright fan tower fan like that is 15 years old and still going strong. I just make sure I tear it apart and clean it real good every spring. Great find.
Hi Kelly. I watched another persons college clean out video. I was so upset with her. She kept leaving all the stuff you both take and her husband telling her to grab the stuff that you can donate but she was only taking things they could use. I was so angry I stopped watching and won’t watch her again. You and Alex are so giving and you do this for the right reasons. Bless you both ❤️

It happens at apartments too, with grown ups. I dive at apartments and a university. Some college kids are on scholarships, many don't have well-off parents, some don't have moms *or* dads. if all of them threw everything away the dumpsters would be overflowing. it's only a few that toss really good stuff.

When or and if you take bedding always make sure you give it a good wash because there could be bed bugs and you certainly do not want them.

And to scare anyone off who comes around with bad intentions…lol…it does happen…although the scariest people I’ve encountered were cops …two of them so far that were really really mean and wanting to instigate an issue so they could try and arrest me …but I did intercept his loot his wife, the store manager, had stolen and placed in the dumpster for him to pick up later lol….how was I supposed to know they had some sort of little illegal scam going on lol

GREAT HAUL
When my daughter was going to college, they had a lot of foreign exchange students. They all came to study hospitality and hotel management and to learn English since this college was well known for their English dept. Those girls bought everything when they got the U.S. so at the end of each year, they threw everything like fridges, toaster, bedding, clothes, everything in the dumpster. We along with other parents would just wait for the girls to bring things down and put it in the dumpster, so we could save it. We all agreed what a waste it was and ask why they didn't donate it or leave it in the rooms. Some did the next year, some gave it away, some still put it in the dumpsters.

This college move out has seriously been the longest one I've seen from them.
Our college move out is literally one day and theyre making their rounds to pick up dumpsters.
I couldn't imagine 6 days straight.
I just wish they'd show at least a little bit of what they got at the end of the videos because this is so long and drug out just for some laundry baskets and bathroom caddies.
if all that is wrong with the laptop is a smashed screen and the rest is okay hook up a monitor that is what my nephew did for me when my screen went wonky

My dorm used to host smores nights in the parking lot behind the dorm, by the trash. There is no telling but I think they think that's what it is there for... a dorm bonfire situation. I would probably go ask or even leave a note asking if it were trash, maybe someone reputable would respond. They won't take it without knowing though.

I live in college town as well and we have several Asian students when they go back to their country. They're not allowed to bring anything except for one suit case one carry on so they have to throw everything away 37:05

My "one thing" is I wish you would take more of the blankets for shelter donations. I see you pass over a lot that look good. Or they can be donated to a homeless shelter. You had the opportunity go in there and clean up all you had to do is walk in and start throwing stuff in the back of dumper where it was empty at so you dont have to worry about nothing falling out’

Hey guys, if you can't see with your rearview mirror, as long as you have both side mirrors, you're still legal. If you dont have your right-side mirror, then you must have your rear-view mirror. JFYI❤
