For a former dumpster diver for many years when I was younger. I watch every new video of it comes out. In the reruns I probably watched two or three times. I enjoy it all over and over again. In my opinion you are the rockstar dumpster diving. Stay safe and don’t let the Popo pull up on you.
When I was 16 I went to work for a local auto mechanic changing oil , plugs, wires , ect... He had been in business 40 years & was retiring... One day I came to work & he noticed scrap copper in the bed of my dads truck.. He asked about it & I told him my brother & I scrapped metal for extra money... When he retired he told me he had a scrap pile I could take to the metal yard & all he wanted was 25%. I drove to his house & he showed me his scrap pile ... Mind you , it was 40 years of car parts... Brake drums, engine blocks , heads, manifolds , ect were piled 20 feet high against his barn & the weight had began to push his barn over ... I recruited my brother & we set in hauling .. Soon we realized my dads F100 could'nt haul enough so I borrowed my uncle 1 ton dooley ... It took us two weeks to clean that pile back in the mid 80's & my brother & I cleared $4600 each. I bought a 73 Chevelle (loved that car) , a 72 ford pickup & a Massey Ferguson diesel tractor .. The tractor & truck I bought from my widowed neighbor .. The tractor was perfect & the Ford truck was red with a short bed , V8 , 4 speed ...it only had 40 some thousand on it & had been parked in the barn with the tractor ... I dabbled in cutting & selling firewood & I always made sure my widowed neighbor had plenty of firewood & when I asked her to sell the truck & tractor to me she said give me $500 & they are yours .. With the tractor I got plows, disk , brush hog , cultivator & a 4 row corn planter ... I sold the planter & hired out to do tractor work . With the truck & tractor I dragged in tree tops , split , loaded & delivered a load for $50 . My uncle owned a sawmill & he bought standing timber all over the county . He let me go in & cut up tree tops from mature oak trees & by the time I graduated high school , I had 30k in the bank ... And it all started when my boss saw copper I had stripped at an illegal dump ... Those were good days .. My 73 Chevelle was beautiful . It was black with a red interior ...350 4 speed !
I spent a lot of time in Texas working warehouses and I met a bunch of cowboys and they were great but you my man you are the best trash cowboy I ever saw !
Mike, I just lost my baby brother to a long battle with cancer and I’m heartbroken and lost. I didn’t think anything could make me smile let a lone laugh, well you just made me chuckle when you threw the box that was disintegrating as you threw it on the ground. Thank you! Please be careful and I do love your videos! 💖
Mike, I’ll watch anything you put out a scrapping video an adventure video a follow up video whatever dude we’re here for you. Is there anybody else who starts dancing when his music starts up at the end? I love that little tune.
Mr. Mike of course we want a follow up or tear down! Love it all! That abandoned water place was amazing! Those out side motors would be MINE! I made a mini cherry picker that snaps together to put heavy stuff in my garden wagon. The heavy duty ones are rockstars!
The dumpster diving and curbsiding never gets old. Always finding something new. Follow ups are always appreciated when you find cool stuff. Haven't seen much Amazon return stuff lately. Have you not been to those dumpsters lately, or is there just not been stuff in them?
Soon as you said "hey now" the crowded house song don't dream it's over popped in my head! GE is inspiration for the Krusty Brand seal of approval- "It's not just good, it's good enough"
Hey, I'm happy with all your videos! Street picking, dumpster diving, follow-ups, exploring, and magnet fishing. (as long as you don't lose your magnet lol) Keep it up!! 💪💪♻️💱♻️
Mike, I just remembered you had to do your parent’s house not that long ago. You’re in my prayers and thoughts as I’ve also been there and I know how difficult that is as well. Love to your whole family 💖
I’m old as dirt and still scrap🤣Can’t get in and out f dumpsters like I used to but I invested in commercial grade hook poles and grabbers. Take along my grandson for heavy , interesting stuff.
Nails. Especially in pallets lol Stepped on many a broken pallet board with a nail. Started wearing thick sole boots at that job. Still got the occasional light poke followed by lifting a board with my foot lol
🔥Wow just wow, that biohazard dumpster was stacked and then the light one, the wire one, hubba hubba baby. I love that sound aluminum makes, so scrummy!! When that box landed I cracked up....splat 😂 Yummy goodies to get a acrappers heart racing tonight, I need a cold shower lol😜

Got to check them boxes. Found a perfectly good, well kept 27'' Asus monitor in a new Samsung curved monitor box. They just upgraded and threw the old one away in the dumpster. I'm constantly amazed what people throw away in my small town.
More money than brains. I put good usable stuff on my local FB give away page and leave it on the porch. It's always gone in no time. People in real need and good stuff just tossed.
You say, "Here comes the rain again", but i reckon, if its not too heavy, whilst you are getting all hot and sweaty, jumping about in those dumpsters, its a blessed relief?
Thanks man. You make it look easy. It's hard work that requires creative energies, and time to make your consistently superior video segments. Good idea for the adventure tangent. Who knows were your imagination will take you. Those guided tours (curb-side) and travelogues (scrap yard runs) are part of your signature creations.

Former scraper here too. Mikie brings us humor with the witty comments
I agree. There’s Mike and then the line forms behind him. I enjoy other scrappers, but no one is better than Mikey.
