In Michigan here where winters getting absolutely god awful I can for sure that my 2006 AWD Audi A4 was fine in snow, but now that i’m considering getting a Z instead of that car knowing how they are in snow definitely helps thank you.
I have driven my 370z sport touring roadster year round for past 3 years. I have put 60,000 miles on it. I run Continental extreme contact DSW06 I get 30000 miles out of set. It is great in Snow and ice to a point but if it’s bad out stay home.
I have a 370Z that I could daily in the winter if I wanted to. It handles decently well in the snow, you just have to wash it several times a week. The biggest thing I found is that clutch and throttle control matter more than anything in slippery conditions.
I live in PEI. And I am contemplating whether or not the Z would be a good car or not for winter here. It’ll be my first car to be ever owned. Getting my G in December
Gotta get very comfortable driving in the snow in rwd first. I've driven a mazdaspeed miata through 2 winters and regularly in the snow, they're not bad because they're low power. A good set of winter tires is an absolute requirement and patience and restraint while driving. But don't forget to have some slow speed fun on snowy corners 😉 but safety is key. Take it easy and get very comfortable with it first. Ideally don't buy it in winter so you have time to adjust and get comfortable
Road noise all has to do with ur tires, and if u dont like it a cheap way to help out alot is too buy some foam pads from Walmart 1 inch thick and lay them in the truck by spare tire, and in my a case I took out my rear speakers due to 12inch subs in trunk so didn't need speaks and I stuffed foam where they would go and the car was quiet as hell. Huge difference 30 bucks can make
Having those nfs numbers for real barones freda. Could be brz is too small. You aren't putting tons of money, so it's street parking show car. Noise maybe something those modders didn't knew, because you need it.
Im planning on buying a first Gen g35 sedan, pretty much a 4 door 350z. I'm living in Vermont so literally next to Canada! Now i have a good question here, would it be better to have studded snow tires or nonstudded snow tires?

Daily drove a P71 Crown Vic (P71s don’t have TC) and had a bunch of fun in it, I could only imagine the fun a Z is being lighter and RWD

Hmmm if your in a hilly area studded for sure, but where i am its mainly flat. So normal winters tires work fine
