Thank you for the video! It was a straightforward, no frills, step by step guide. Just what I needed
+The Accountant you’re welcome! 🍻
I think you can also use the old caliper bolt to hold the rotor if your “kit” doesn’t have a stud to keep it from falling on your foot while you smack it free.
+@radioactivemike1 👍🍻
Those pads look fine, why were the rotors and pads replaced?
+Hugh Mann they were fine. He wanted to upgrade.
Can you provide a link for your power tools?
+Shavon Stokes check out my “Tool of the week” playlist 😉🍻
Are there two brake sensors for the front pads, one on each side?
Yes
Where can I get a new backing plate?
+josh j probably the dealer? Not sure.
I don't see the link for the caliper bolts...
Sorry just added the link!
I am wondering what happens if you DO NOT turn off the leveling system….. just wondering…
+Bob Fognozzle PROBABLY nothing, and I’m sure most people/shops never do, but…
I think your torque spec is wrong. I believe for the red calipers, it is 22 ft lbs, then 90 degrees. The torque spec you used is for the base Macan.
+Jeff Wagoner oh really? Thanks!
