Bernard Paris - IMO although he was welding, he was wire feed welding and you could tell in the video, even though it was sped up, that he was not continuously welding on it but it was more spot welding the joints together after he had tacked them in place.
Excellent build. I've been making stuff here and there with my everlast welder but it all looks like childs play compared to the workmanship in this project. Well done.
The fact you forged your own nails and by doing something as time consuming as that to make a small detail pop is what makes you sir a true artisan. Great work, I love how you have knowledge in multiple skills!
Well, now I have to build myself a shop and teach myself how to blacksmith. I wasn't expecting to see hand fabrication of nails. The best part is that you are doing it in shorts and AllStars. Fantastic. Subbed.
Live down in Austin Texas, so rustic is our way of life. No pun intended but you nailed it Amigo! I work with wood, metal, and leather myself...this is on my to do list now (after my wife's honey-dos). I work out my man cave garage as well....inspiring brother man! hats off to you...looking forward to see more.
I made these using your techniques. They turned out fantastic. Only dif was I could not for the life of me grind of the ceramic threads. Had to do something a little different. Wish I could add a pic to the comment.
Excellent display of craftsmanship my man. As a side note your mig spot welds are a perfect excuse for me to buy that everlast pulse mig welder I've had my eye on! cheers
Thank you! And absolutely, make it happen! Let me know if you ever have any questions, I'm always around my Facebook group "ZH Fabrications Maker Group" send a request and I'll get you added.
Outstanding. I'm not a metalworker, so I will tweak your idea and make these with black iron pipe, and reclaimed wood for the panel. Maybe even do the "shou sugi ban" burn technique for the wood. Thanks for the inspiration!
I have bought mine here tudoandco(dot)com/collections/edisonbulbs. You could also try Heals(dot)com and search for long filament bulbs, I hope that helps.
Those look amazing! I hope you were paid more than just a free beer. That looks like a lot of love, sweat, time, and effort went into making those. I am most impressed with the making of your own nails. Great job on the whole project!
Ahah ! Hey ! The second song "Quarante-Cinq" ... I think the woman trying to sing in French... But It's a fail, because I did not understand .. lol (Yet I'm French.. ahah !) Nice projet ! ;) So, hello from France ! :)
I've seen a lot of DIY stuff I like but your style is amazing! I would have never thought of the homemade nails but they are an amazing touch. Shamelessly going to use some of your techniques in my future builds.
You, sir, are a madman! ... in a mad-scientist kind of way. Everything fab'd from scratch, even the nails. You did cheat on the wood stain, though, I don't think you made that from scratch. I hit like, and subscribed, and I'm waiting for more.
Always good to hear Danimal! Nope--I didn't make my own stain this time around--although I have experimented with vinegar & steel wool, coffee, tea, etc. The finish on the console table I'm about to release later this week is sort of interesting as it involves a tar burner :)
You even forged your own nails, are you kidding me?! Awesome result, I just found your channel this morning from your workbench build and I think I've got some binge-watching to do now!
Those are awesome, nice work! I had to come watch this video after you mentioning it in the Crafted Podcast. I've listened to just a couple of the episodes, but I didn't realize it was you on there until this morning. Great job on all fronts!
Hah, Yup, that's me alright! Thanks for stopping by. If you don't have anything better to do this evening ~8-9 eastern time, we'll be streaming the live podcast :)
Beautiful! And really nice to see all the work and attention to detail, like the nails. So many build videos makes it looks just soon easy and quick but here it feels like you get an appreciation for the cratfmanship that goes into it. 😀
Great build!
Alright this just happened, I can die a happy man!
That was truly an amazing build. Thank you for sharing :D
Welding produce a lot of Uv. I really love his work but I really don't understand why he don't but heavy gloves and leather stuff.
Bernard Paris I've suffered from a few "sunburns" due to not wearing leather jackets and a glove or two
Bernard Paris - IMO although he was welding, he was wire feed welding and you could tell in the video, even though it was sped up, that he was not continuously welding on it but it was more spot welding the joints together after he had tacked them in place.
the guy does his own woodworking, electrical, and welding. True DIY. I was particularly impressed with the home made nails. Well done!!
They turned out BADASS the hand cut nails were dope AF
Thanks Joe!
Very classy build, we'll done! The forged nails knocks it out of the park!
Always good to hear, thanks!
Dude, those are completely badass. And you made you own nails, so that just seals the deal. Rad build.
Thank you!
Dude, those are gorgeous. The hand forged cut nails is really the icing on the cake for it being all your artistry. Thanks for sharing this!

ZH Fabrications
Excellent build. I've been making stuff here and there with my everlast welder but it all looks like childs play compared to the workmanship in this project. Well done.
I like when, after finishing any art piece, the builder shows where it has been placed. Congrats.
5:14 I don't know why I've never done that. Simple and effective!
:)
Beautiful build. The custom nails show your dedication to the fine detail. Amazing.
Thank you!
Incredible custom build, few places can say they have fixtures like that, which are truly custom crafted.
Thank you!
The fact you forged your own nails and by doing something as time consuming as that to make a small detail pop is what makes you sir a true artisan. Great work, I love how you have knowledge in multiple skills!
Dude a little of everything! those are sweet!
Thanks James!
I've got a power imig welder but it looks like I'll need to take up forging too to even begin to try to build stuff like you. Good work man!
Well, now I have to build myself a shop and teach myself how to blacksmith. I wasn't expecting to see hand fabrication of nails. The best part is that you are doing it in shorts and AllStars. Fantastic. Subbed.
Hah, thanks!
Dude...you're one talented SOB! Love the metal shear cutter! Really nice work Zach!
Thanks Donny! (This is like my new punchline)
This is real life engineering - a super set of skills and a flair for great design too. Brilliant!
Thank you!
Amigo, eres un genio y dominas todo! herrería, carpintería, acabados, electricidad! impresionante trabajo! hermoso sin duda alguna...! Saludos.

Free beer is always good , those are sweet and the hand made nails was the icing on the cake....👍👍👍
:)
+ZH Fabrications. Where did you find the cut nail tool that is used to forge the head of the nail? Home made?
Unless it's Miller Lite
Awesome to see the wide range of tools and techniques you use on a single project! Lot of depth here.
Amazing build, and if anything, turned me into a fan of Cullah too!
Thank you, and yeah he's fantastic!
I made these using your techniques. They turned out fantastic. Only dif was I could not for the life of me grind of the ceramic threads. Had to do something a little different. Wish I could add a pic to the comment.
Yeah it takes forever to grind the ceramics...... I'd love to see a picture, shoot it to me in an e-mail to zhfabrications@gmail.com
When you started making your own nails... I'm like oh yeah! Sweet build
Thanks Robert!
Your creativity and skill set are are a pleasure to watch. I love the industrial, dark wood combination. Off to watch another one of your videos.

-So why is your company named "ZH Fabrications" ?
-Well, you see, ZH appears to be kinda easy to etch with a circular saw
Hah.
How the hell do you only have 170k subscribers? You’re pumping out stuff that is more original and better than 99.9% of RUclips!!!
Oh yes thats smart...
garage projects

I've seen a lot of DIY stuff I like but your style is amazing! I would have never thought of the homemade nails but they are an amazing touch. Shamelessly going to use some of your techniques in my future builds.
