I love Honda vtec engines. You can push them to the limit all day long and they never break. I had a 1996 1.6 vti years ago, pushed it to its limit all the time and nothing ever went wrong with it. Amazing engines and I've always been obsessed with that sound when vtec kicks in.
I commented on one of the last videos about making a leader board for each drive train and it's nice to see a youtuber that reads the comments and takes it in, massive respect favourite youtuber hands down 💪🏻

The last one I had was 54 plate cosmic grey which I sold 3 weeks ago due to expecting our first baby so had to buy a family wagon. Bought a mk5 golf gt 170bhp remapped to 218 stage 1. Its quick but even tho the ep3 is less brake, the ep3 felt quicker.. I think its because my ep3 had typhoon and a loud buddy club exhaust system which made it feel quick. I miss it already but once baby is atleast 3 I will get another one for sure :-)

A twin screw delivers its power much earlier and is less eager to rev. Its low down punch and shorter power band meant it felt more like a turbo, but produced less power than the centrifugal supercharger from rotrex. The rotrex happily revved to 8700 rpm and the power was so linear. The car felt like factory but with a much larger engine. I mods are to many to list but the dyno said 337bhp and 225 lbs ft. torque.

Which would you say is better or safer for the engine. Must admit the fact his went bang has worried me. !!!
Hi mate, its jordan with the fn2. Turbo is alot more stress on the engine but overall reliability is okay. Mine was mainly a track car so had alot of abuse and heat going through the engine if it's just a road car with the odd bit of track driving I'm sure you'll be fine. Turbo civics are another level to supercharged ones in my opinion. I'm currently building a supercharged one which will be ready in September and hopefully I'll be back on the channel to make a video
Apparently being supercharged hitting the limiter isn't too great for it or so I've heard plus I'm going nurburg on the 20th of may so didn't wanna break it 😅😅

Do love a civic! But that harness setup is so wrong, the lap belts should be across your pelvic bones, not halfway up your abdomen. Risk of serious injury and submarining right there :|
