Road to Silence I Move Hard 9b

- ‘Move Hard’ is the easier variation of the mythical "Silence" (World’s first 9c).
After trying ‘Project BIG’ over 6 days, the conditions began to worsen, so I decided to shift my focus and try another route from Adam, ‘Move Hard’.
I would say this route actually has more in common with Silence than Move, so could also be called "Silence Easy".
The line starts from ‘Move’, and takes you through the very first crux, before turning right into Silence to do the second and third cruxes. Basically, you skip the main crux of Silence. It's a really good route combining multiple interesting cruxes. And it's a logical step to gain some confidence in Crux 2 and 3 of Silence.
Sending ‘Move Hard’ brought me some extra motivation to try the main boulder of Silence.

I really hope you send Silence so you finally get the credit you deserve. I think that's the best way to cement your 9c climber status and inspire other top pros to come to the Verdon to try DNA and the other amazing routes you have opened there. Unlike other climbers I know nothing would make you happier than to see them repeated.

That and climbing a thousand 9b's. It's crazy he's not more famous than he is - though he is well known of course. But for him it's not even that big a deal to climb a 9b. It's nuts.

Some of the best climbing footage I've seen for a while. Close-up filming, from above, by a person on a rope, still massively trumps the now much over-used drone footage (and the even worse static camera from a distance...)

Yes! Radically different than what others have done. Would love to hear his thoughts on difficulty of the sequence he used vs the way Adam/Stefano/etc have done it.

Normalement, j'adore tes vidéos, mais là..est ce que tu peux demander à ton monteur de ne pas couper les séquences de grimpe stp ? on est pas sur instagram là...ces micro cut pour avancer de 4sc ca sert vraiment à rien du tout...l'intéret c'est de te regarder grimper :)

Isn't that a bit cheating if you go beneath the quickdraw of the 2nd crux of silence and then clip the one after? Looks still hard though, but the original ways seems like way harder?

I saw the same with gisolfi: NEVER hang yourself into a lose web sling, ESPECIALLY if its dyneema. They can't take dynamic forces.
So the sling in thos case is far too long, you fall 1m into a static sling, it will be close to breaking and even if it holds, you are going to break your hips.
That again shows how you mist know your climbing gear. If you make a rope change, fine but then use a sling that is almost as short or a connect adjust.
Isn't Stefano's series also called "Road to Silence"? Is this some sort of taunting or just coincidence/ mistake?
