I'm from the US and for most schools here a 4.0 (unweighted gpa) is for straight A's, :) Hope you enjoy the tips in the video and find at least a couple useful!!
i’m from the uk and we have different grading systems for each level. so the first one is gcses and you do these exams when you’re like 16. a grade 9 is the highest and a grade 1 is the lowest. the next level is a levels (which i’m doing rn) and the highest grade for that is an A*. we do these exams when we’re like 17/18 and we pick three or four subjects to study
I'm in France and cause I flunked on all the tests so far, my average grade is still at 0 😅😅 and the grades are by 20 so 10 is average 15+ is great and below 10 is basically rubbish and then you have to take a brevet at the end of 3eme (or for americans that's the first/second year of high school, Im not sure) and I think that's over 100%
I’m from Australia and I’m only in yr 5 so it is quite different from everyone else’s so far. My average grade I get is A’s which is a 80-89 percent and 90-100 percent is an A*. I’m pretty sure that it goes till yr 12. 60-79 percent is B*, 50-69 percent is B, 40-59 percent is C*, 30-49 percent is C, 20-39 percent is D, and 0-29 percent is UG which is Upgradable. I’m pretty sure the last percentage is right. The yr levels below, which is prep-yr4 is different. It’s no letters just like needs help, very below average, below average, standard, above average, and so on. And my school has an ELC (early learning centre) which has no grade.
for the girlies who DONT want to study but still want good grades i recommend LEARNING while ur in class. And what i mean by this is ASK QUESTIONS WHEN YOU DONT UNDERSTAND, TAKE NOTES THAT WILL MAKE U REMEMBER AS YOU WRITE. if you understand it while ur being taught it there will be no need to study! Now if there is a big exam like finals or mid terms then you should prob study along with doing this, other than that, if you do this correctly then u wont need to study. ;) hope this helps someone!
i wish i'd understood that I could have skimmed text to prime and then been able to fill in gaps in lecture and more easily identify where things aren't filled in fully in your mind. Sounds obvious but so many people aren't reading the text at all because they think that means read it fully, don't... just flip through-- look at figures, give a skim and think about what might show up in the lecture.

So I am a student who ended up getting the 1st out of all four classes in the form, and you are the reason I am able to get it. For me, I write the points or a more simple explanation into notes, then I started to organising them so that I can read all of them at once and I can study easier after that. And trust me, negative motivation helps, as the pressure of holding the 1st position is now my main motivation to study in order to keep up with the rank!! ❤❤

1:45 a personal tip from a British secondary school student is that with the winter exams spring exams and summer exams the majority of questions are taken from the end of topic tests so always keep those and go over the questions
Thank you so much Estella for bringing all these amazing videos. I have been watching your videos since I started my second year of highschool and now I'm preparing for med school. I just wanted to let you know just how much your videos have helped me at some of my low times and they still continue to do so, it lights up my day when you post. Tips from me :)- 1. To stick to a routine, make it more engaging( eg: if you completed 2 hours of studying, do one of your hobbies for 20 min) This way, you will be motivated 2. Try to revise the material you have gotten before school even starts (hey, i always came first in every single class and i only studied on the day of the exam). It seriously works y'all. 3. Pretend that somebody is recording your life. Act as if some random human has spawned, and is recording you from when and where you are, from your wake up time till you sleep. This gives you motivation to study to look good for yourself. 4. Dont make aesthetic pleasing notes. Create notes which only YOU can understand. 5. Give atleast 10 min for workout. Come on, everybody knows that you aint that busy! 6. After youre done with you study session and dinner or lunch hasnt been prepared, please do not hold the phone. Instead, create a hobby. 7. Study breaks arent for hilding phones 8. Organize your closet. Really helps a lot 9. The best study tip for last minute studies- Stand in front of your mirror and talk abiut what you just learned. See the points you have missed and tell and repeat again until you got the hook of it. 10. Everybody cannot suit inside pomodoro technique. I myslef used it and can i say- FAILED👎👎 Instead, turn on background noise (rain, bird chirping, turning pages, etc... Best website- I Miss my library) and turn on a stop watch. See for how much time you can study, and study for that much amount of time only. Hope this gives you motivation, NOW GO and ACCOMPLISH your dream of the ✨️IT GIRL✨️ GOOD LUCK!!
Best thing I learned is make a separate work space or leave you house for long study sessions. I go to a coffee shop every time I'm struggling. I find it harder to get distracted when I'm not surrounded by reminders of every other thing I need to do. Also sometimes a change of scenery helps freshen you mind and make it a little less stressful.
Hi Estella! I'm in secondary school and whenever I watch your videos you give me motivation to study! (I did my science homework while watching this actually). I don't really struggle with the grades, but I barely study anything and always put off homework till the last minute. I try techniques, but they never stick, and because I still get good grades, I don't try my best to get them to. Do you have anything that could help with that? Oh, and I was wondering if you could make a video on what to do when you're feeling more motivated than ever before, and yet have nothing to do, 'cause in secondary school you don't have nearly as much homework as you do in college, but I still want to be productive and not waste the feeling of productivity.
I started watching you in 2020, when I was in elementary school. Now in middle school and trying to watch every tip you have so that I can study better❤
as a sixth grader, this is so helpful since i get prizes if i get the highest in my class and the teacher leaves us the over views of the class presentation of the lecture which is really helpful
I tend to get my work done and study at the same time right before a test, too. I don't like that I've picked up that habit, but it's working. I still feel I need to knuckle down and study beforehand, spacing it out to have the peace I need during the exams.
I'm speechless It's like all I need to do to be that student in 15 minutes! Thank you soooooooo much. I really appreciate the effort you put into this video, and I'm really grateful that I came across your channel

If u dont like studying after school, Try studying in the morning, you'll feel proud. Wake up before 7am .Start with smt small like studing for 25mins in the morning doing one subject, the next day u could wake up at 2,3,4,5 or 6am up to you. Depends on what time you start school and how much sleep you need. All the best to anyone reading this😊

I want multiple choise test too. In Germany this isn‘t a think AND 60% or 50% (depends on the subject) of your grade comes from the participation in class. Those are the most subjective grades you‘ll ever get. As a more quiet student school in the us would be soo much more easy for me. I‘d definitly get better grades… But i love your channel and it had helpt me soo much in getting better grades in my exams and tests. Also it just inspires me to study

There is one God, who created Heaven and Earth. He made us in His image and likeness. He made us to worship and we chose to rebel against God. As a result we are seperated from God but God didn’t leave us. Instead God sent His one and only Son, His Son is Jesus. He was born of a virgin and lived a life without sin, though He was tempted in every way as we are. He went on the cross and He willingly took our sins past, present and future. Jesus died in my place for my sins, paying my debt to God and purchasing my salvation. Jesus died but He rose on the third day victory over satan, sin, demons and hell. Jesus tells us to share this story of the Good News and there’s a God that lovingly pursues us. Jesus is coming to judge the living and the dead and those who trust in God will forever be with Him in His Kingdom and those who do not will suffer forever in hell...
Respectfully if Jesus was god why did it say in the bible jesus teaches how to worship to god or only god knows the hour and why did he come to earth he could have sent messengers ?

I’m working on making more study vlogs, coming right up!🫡🥰💖
Tips from me :)-
1. To stick to a routine, make it more engaging( eg: if you completed 2 hours of studying, do one of your hobbies for 20 min) This way, you will be motivated
7. Study breaks arent for hilding phones
8. Organize your closet. Really helps a lot
9. The best study tip for last minute studies- Stand in front of your mirror and talk abiut what you just learned. See the points you have missed and tell and repeat again until you got the hook of it.
10. Everybody cannot suit inside pomodoro technique. I myslef used it and can i say- FAILED👎👎
Instead, turn on background noise (rain, bird chirping, turning pages, etc... Best website- I Miss my library) and turn on a stop watch. See for how much time you can study, and study for that much amount of time only.
Hope this gives you motivation, NOW GO and ACCOMPLISH your dream of the ✨️IT GIRL✨️
GOOD LUCK!!
Thankuuu foe theseee tips....btw do u know any study communities?
Best thing I learned is make a separate work space or leave you house for long study sessions. I go to a coffee shop every time I'm struggling. I find it harder to get distracted when I'm not surrounded by reminders of every other thing I need to do. Also sometimes a change of scenery helps freshen you mind and make it a little less stressful.
I’m just grade 3 but I like watching study successes.
I'm jealous
Gimme your brain or something 😑
Hey
Do you just have the perfect memory or something?
Ive got sats coming up (year 6)
I started watching you in 2020, when I was in elementary school. Now in middle school and trying to watch every tip you have so that I can study better❤
this is all i need for school. Your editing its amazing. Keep going estella love your videos
as a sixth grader, this is so helpful since i get prizes if i get the highest in my class and the teacher leaves us the over views of the class presentation of the lecture which is really helpful
I tend to get my work done and study at the same time right before a test, too. I don't like that I've picked up that habit, but it's working. I still feel I need to knuckle down and study beforehand, spacing it out to have the peace I need during the exams.
I'm speechless
It's like all I need to do to be that student in 15 minutes!
Thank you soooooooo much. I really appreciate the effort you put into this video, and I'm really grateful that I came across your channel
i recently failed 1 subject in my finals and i stopped beliveing in myself now i have started to get good grades thank you a lot you are setting my life
I used to be a high grade student I had a 4.6 gpa, but as year 9 has gone past I have noticed my motivation has gone down hill and my gpa has dropped to a 4.1 and I have several unfinished assignments overdue, along with an unstudied for maths exam in 2 days. Videos like these really boost my motivation, and confidence and I’m hoping next year I’ll get straight As because I know I’m capable of getting As I just need to pay more attention and actually try. ❤️
hi! i noticed youre an excellent student and i wanted to ask for some helpful tips for studying efficiently.
This man spends hundreds of thousands of time just to help us. He helps those in need while also helping us. He always puts a smile on our faces and we should appreciate it. Hats off to Him! I love you dude. Crazy I've never payed attention to the Mendos anonymous hack on the internet movement when I say ancestral your a gift to our people

Hi Estella, I am beginning term 4 tomorrow and I really want to start getting good grades and actually caring about my grades. You motivate me and entertain me, you make studying sound fun ❤😂Please never stop making RUclips videos
hope it all goes well for you! ❤️
Estella, could you please make those silent relaxing nature vlogs too, that we can use after or while studying to relax? I would be really grateful if you do. 🌸✨
My next video is a 4 hr “silent” + relaxing music study with me with those vibes, so it should be helpful!!🥰💖
There are so many people in the comments saying they’ve improved their grades by watching your videos. It’s fantastic, you’re doing such an important job!
It's hard to find motivation but ur post never fails to give me some motivation ❤❤❤
I procrastinated watching this video. I've had the tab for this video open for four days.
All the best to anyone reading this😊
As a high school student, this video really helps me a lot!!! Im actually watching study tips this days ,and this video is just the perfect video to watch!💗

Love you Estella ❤
LOL I know it’s always a mystery haha 🤣💖
@@StudyToSuccess omg hii are you excited for 1989 tv
Urghh im that student where i just rely on the teachers plus points amd emphaty 😭😭😭.
I want multiple choise test too. In Germany this isn‘t a think AND 60% or 50% (depends on the subject) of your grade comes from the participation in class. Those are the most subjective grades you‘ll ever get. As a more quiet student school in the us would be soo much more easy for me. I‘d definitly get better grades…
But i love your channel and it had helpt me soo much in getting better grades in my exams and tests. Also it just inspires me to study
Estella!! The amount of effort, dedication and time you put into ALL of your videos makes me so happy cuz I’m like wow 🤩 that’s a really good You-tuber right there lol 😊❤ keep up the amazing content bestie 🩷
hehe tysm!!:)
I don’t get how she manages her time with school and RUclips I’m so jealous 😭
Hehe I talk about that in the “how to make more time” and exam tips section!!🥰💖
as someone who has been a straight A student one tip i tell people that are like “ i dont want to study cause its sooo boring” is to pretend you’re in a movie/tv show. its the only thing that makes me want to study
0:44 OMG!!! FACE REVEAL!!!!
Your channel is my main motivation to study most of the times, and considering my mocks are legit in November and actual exams in a few months, this is the motivation I defo need rn and your channel is my saviour SOB

Jesus isn’t gods son god created brith not to have it himself if god gave birth were are gods parents or wife’s ?
tysm i’ll be using these tipss 😭 literally trying to get honour role in jr high and the pressure is ONNN!! i will for sure be using these, ur one of my idols noww aahhhh!! 💗
Free Palestine!!!
How does writing that Help Palestine?
@@LuvlyJStaR94so real like how are we gonna free Palestine like we are the president of the worl
Nice message but how is that relevant to the video or how is that going to help Palestine?
@@LuvlyJStaR94yeah
@LuvlyJStaR94 Despite what you might think, comments like these raise awareness. Maybe not in people like you, but in others, they do. I personally don't think this is the right way to raise awareness, but at least that person's comment serves a purpose. Your reply however doesn't.
Thank you so much girlboss, I watch and take notes on ur videos and just got 5 A’s and didn’t fail any subject. That was awesome since last term I failed math and legal. Keep slaying girly pop we love u!!!!!!!!!!!!
