Hi! I was wondering if you have a video on how to manually digitize font in a logo for embroidering onto shirts. Really small fonts to bigger fonts. Thank!
I've watched this video and the others at least a dozen times and each time learn something more I missed...LOL. I'am a brand new at machine embroidery, and I've spent the past year studying Embird. ALL of us newbies have one major question however, WHERE DO I START? Your Logo above is a perfect example of that question. You are right about auto-digitizing...no matter how great it will do a very simple graphic (vector), it doesn't hold up to manual digitizing, especially on complex logo. Maybe a video ...on Where do I start? It sure would help us get past staring at a picture for hours.
what if it was something really simple with solid colors and only 2-3 colors, like a silhouette image...manual or auto? the problem I have with manual (cause I don't have a mouse lol, I use the pad on my laptop... it's a pain) is that if your image has lots of contours (ie. I'm working in a small gift for my anime loving friend and I was hoping to embroider the silhouette of her fave character onto a quilted tea coaster) it makes drawing the lines with accuracy a little difficult if you're using a touch pad lol. (i'm actually debating between applique and embroidery lol but with embroidery I also have the option of just doing a thick outline instead of fill stitching it so that I can see the quilted fabric print if I decided to go there instead)
I need somebody to tell me how to get Menus onto my floppy disks in Embird so that I can transfer designs from my Editor program to the floppies and thus to my HV machine.
This is just flipping fantastic! Where have you been all my life!! ha! JUST Wonderful ! Thank you so much ! YEAH!!!!!

Well I'm convinced. Good video I shall NOT be using Auto digitising! Thank you Sue.

I'm soory I know this is old video but did you dobsame things with font? Trace?
I would loved to have seen how you did the longitude and latitude lines in the world.
Hi, Sue. I tried to digitize a photo, and ended up with a real mess. Any chance you could do a video on this, please. Thank you

How to you trace small letters to make them embroider clear and not looking bunched together?
small letters are tricky - i would use a proper font rather than tracing anything - its too hard to get it looking good and readable with tracing.

Which software is better, embird or Wilcom hatch
2 years later and I'm wondering same thing 🤣🤣🤣
You spend way too much time talking about the irrelevant to the video you are making. Just get to it, please.
