This movie was filmed using lowriders, mostly from Salinas California Car Clubs. It was also filmed in the Monterey County in the neighboring City of Watsonville California located just a few minutes away from Salinas. The lowrider car clubs would meet and take off from the Sky View Drive In Theater in East Salinas right before they made these scenes. Back then it was Salinas Cruising that was like what you see here in the movie, Watsonville was chosen due to being a smaller city to film in. Not much has changed besides the new stores, and car models, but one thing for sure, this was RAZA UNIDA times, right before the street wars broke out. Great Film.

I moved from San Jose to Watsonville and I love SanJo but Watsonville was the best move I made for my son. And the people here are great it has small town feel of community hospitality and charm. People have offered to pay for small item of groceries when you don't have enough and want to put it back. People pulled over to help you if you have a flat or car trouble . When you offer them $ they say no and wish you a good day. It might not be like that as much as it used to be but it is a nice place to live, until tourists come is when we have issues

@SANxJONERO The way I do it is I bought this vhs to dvd recorder box made by ADS Tech, you plug it into your usb on your computer and you hook up your vcr to the ADS Tech box and click record on the software the ADS tech box comes with. and thats it. I did this to put all of my vhs home movies into the computer so I can burn them on dvd later. - You can also just go to walgreens and get your vhs movies converted to dvd and once its on dvd you put the movie on your computer then youtube
