You will need a splitter for the mic to work. I am not sure if via USB C, if the mic works directly. That's what I want to know. I got a Mic splitter, and there's so much artifact that's it's practically unusable.
Good timing with this video. As the IEM market continues to rapidly change, I'm curious and excited to see some microphones come into the picture now for them.
Info : I have Moondrop Aria snow the Kinera Gramr micrphone don't stay in place with the weight of the microphone beaause of Pin is shorter on the right side. Be carefull :)
I have the normal aria and it's the same thing for me. Idk why the pins are different lengths on each side. I have to hold it together with a rubber band
the omnidirectional mic is so strong that my gf who is across the room and I can be in a call with another person and she doesn't need to be connected to the vc. it picks up her voice with perfect clarity, as if she was next to me. It's actually super annoying. also the pins on the right fall out of my aria
Awesome vid. We need more birds. Edit: by any chance, can you do a video on which IEM is better for console gaming? Haven't found a decent cable with mic for my Xbox.
Hey. It's been a long time since this comment but I'm in the same page. I'm looking for a solution to replace my Sony XM5 because the touch sensor seems to have broken, and also after some hours of work, the fact that I wear glasses makes me hurt. I think that a IEM + boom mic attached to a wireless DAC/amp might be the solution. The dac connects to the phone or the computer so you can move around.
@@Teknickel bro i watched many of your iems gaming reviews . But i am confused to choose one. So please suggest me a iem under 80 dollars.i want A Balanced sounding iem with good details, imgaing and sound stage. I can use even it has less bass.gaming and listening music
@@Yeahhhhthisisgood Good question you raised. If both cable & earbuds valid warranty for a year, per day can plug & unplug 3* times. Assumption mean time between failure (MTBF) can quote 1000* Times. Sounds reasonable ( assumption of no any further hard insert but only same specs = 0.75 cable with 0.75 IEM earbuds)
tldr, great product competitive price but right side connector is loose. thats a big NO lmao. pure stupidity right by the design team. lets hope they fix it in the future to fit into popular "recessed" 2pin iem
This seems to have been discontinued and replaced only with a >$100 version that sounds worse. I can't find any option that doesn't sound like complete ass. Sad! What's the new meta? Might have to go with a lav :/
This may be unexpected, but I've decided that the real meta for a gaming mic is likely a DJI Mic 2 connected via bluetooth. Extremely high quality audio, no added discomfort, no added wires, extremely versatile for other uses, and extremely well priced compared to paying $50-$100 for a 0.005 cent microphone. Only question is the hassle of battery power, but I'll just have to see if that's a real problem in practice.
Holy crap! I remember watching this guy's Razer Naga video from way back when he's got 80ish subs.
Congrats in 11k dude.
I cannot get the mic to show up as a usable input device. Mic does work, i plugged it in to my phone and had no issues. Any thoughts?

Finally something for the gamers that we can afford.....
Kinera also has another boom mic IEM cable which is $30 called RUYI. Any chance you could do a review of that one please.

how do you exactly fix the problem with the depressed socket on the right side? I just bought mine but the semi loose socket is a bit infurating.
The MMCX mic, 2pin on the right side, the 3.5mm termination connectors are flawed sadly.. there is no grip on the connectors.

If you’re still struggling, someone smooth it out and made some cuts
antlionkimura is out, you gonna review?
Hi, do I need a splitter to make the mic and earphones work at the same time for Kinera? Thank you.
after a year what is the best iem mic in November 2024 I’m ready to make the change

Thanks for the reviews. I checked them both out and decided to go with this one. This looks like it'll perfectly meet my needs.
Kinera just dropped the 2.0 version of this boom mic! Trying it out later this week
Have you seen or tested the "Kimura Microphone Cable"? Heard they get interference when the cable rubs. How the cable qualify on this as far as noise?
Definetly buying it after this wonderful video, thanks a lot.
I'm actually looking to these mics as possible motovlogging options. I see a helmet in the background, tested these or any mics in a helmet?
been waiting for this product's review, thanks dad
Does anyone know if the USB- C adapter will get the mic to work directly?
i came for iem mic, instead i got birb. literally cant get any better than this.
Please make a review for kinera Celest wyvern pro
I have KZ X HBB PR2 0.75 mm 2 pin connector. Will 0.78 2 pin connector work with my KZ earphones?
I'd really like for someone to make a cable with a boom mic and the plugs for general aviation
Does does fit with truthear hexa?

If you want to use as headset for gaming. What port would you plug into on pc motherboard? Or do you need splitter to use mic and hear audio?
With this I had to by a splitter. 2 MALE for mic port and Hester port on pc to a single female to plug the headset into.
This headset is amazing, I wish it could be wireless somehow. Do you know any mic set up like that which is wireless?

Nope, but now I'm gonna buy it
Can those fit on the KZ ZS10pro X that have a 0.75mm jack? or there is another option?
