So apparently filming late at night has it's downsides. The bore is 5mm. I just the wrong part of my caliper without even realizing it. Sorry for the misinformation!
I just bought the Tygr 300r and Mod Mic Uni. Right now it's on a Sennheiser HD 560S. Just trying to find my perfect setup for gaming. I care a lot about soundstage, imaging, and detail for those audio cues in games. The HD 560S sound amazing but I have to keep adjusting them because I have big ears and they hurt my ears after wearing them for 30 minutes. Hopefully the Tygr 300r work for me. Great channel and reviews as always.
Hi there, I have a question about the Kimura 2 pin microphone cable. Will it fit on the "fanmusic truthear x crinacle zero" IEM's. I have been looking on Ali Expres but I doubt Chinese cables can match the Antlions quality 😅. I have had my IEM's for a day now and I am literally blown away with how good they sound for Gaming. Coming from a HD560's and numerous other expensive headsets I can really hear the footsteps so much better on Warzone and Ragnarok sounds so good. Having a microphone could finally end my long quest for the perfect all rounder, the one to rule them all if I might say🤭.
Please get your hands on the Hammerhead Hyperspeed. Need your quality of a review on those. Also, with your mic tests, could you include them filtered through something like Nvidia Broadcast? I know you want to keep the mic true to the unprocessed sound, but feel like broadcast is a super simple and widely available filter that a large portion of your audience has access to. Would love to see it!
That mic sounds nuts for what it costs/look, definitely gonna' give it a try with my IEMs. I've had my IEMs lying around for so long since I couldn't use them whilst playing with friends, but I'd certainly give this a try instead of having to spend hundreds of bucks on a mic/arm setup.
It really was much better than I expected. I think the voicing on it was the best part about it. It still sounds a touch warn and has great detail, so it doesn't sound like a tiny microphone.
@@GadgetryTech Now I can't decide if I should wait for it to be available in EU (it's already out of stock and MaxGaming doesn't get it until March) or get a LP arm and mic combo :')
Nice. Personally I just clip the Antlion Wireless mic onto my shirt and that works fine. You can do it with a £3 lapel clip and then plug your IEM into whatever your source is.
I know I seem to be all over the place with my comments but this is what I am trying to decide... I would like to get an IEM because I'm tired of heavy headsets but I want similar sound quality. My last headset was the Arctis Nova Pro wired which I just had to RMA because the left side went bad. Anyway, my eye is on the Antlion Kimura Duo because of it's decent sound quality and included mic. Does it sound similar to the Arctis Nova Pro wired? Also, if I do get it should I pair it with a DAC? Would the Schiit Fulla E fit the bill? And even deeper, should I just get the Kimura mic and pair it with another better performing IEM? I know it's a lot but this is how I'm analyzing my needs. Perhaps this combo consideration deserves a video?
What DAC would you recommend to go along with the Duo? I need something decently performing but reasonably priced. Do I even need a DAC at all if I simply plug it into my motherboard?
I have a question I just bought the turtle beach ultra stealth controller and I have a Xbox series X console will the Kimura duo with the mic pair up with my console and provide audio and the ability to speak in game.?
@GadgetryTech I am not familiar with IEMs at all. So can i just plug these in my PS5 Controller without something else and get good sound and mic quality?
@@GadgetryTech thank you for your quick answer. I am testing a lot at the moment and can‘t get the right thing for me for gaming. I‘m playing about 80% on my PS5 (except for FIFA and Helldivers 2 only Single Player Games) and about 20% on PC (only Single Player). I am coming from SteelSeries 7P but I am not happy with sound and mic quality anymore. Tested Audeze Maxwell but got headache because of the weight. Tested Pulse Elite but the headband and ear cushions are hurting me. With pulse explore I can not get a good fit and also hurts. Inzone 5 has mediocore sound and bad mic but very comfy. And I need a good noise reduction in the mic because my kid and wife are sometimes around when I begin playing online and my friends can hear them. The Noise reduction on the Pulse Elite, Pulse explore and Maxwell was great but they always had several other problems as I mentioned.
What is an IEM ? A device with better sound quality will allow you to hear everything you want and need to hear at significantly lower volumes. What does this have to do with the distinction between earbuds and IEMs? Well, everything, as it turns out. *TY Google*
@@Pikachu123OP Calling them a "Glorified Earbud" isn't fair. An earbud is a type of earphone that does not insert into your ear canal and just sits in your ears concha bowl (think standard apple airpods or Samsung Galaxy Beans (live). An IEM is the widely accepted term for an earphone that inserts into your canal.
If you wanted a better mic for the Nova, you would use the ModMic Uni for wire, or ModMice Wireless. The wireless adapter does work on PS5. Either one would attach to your headset via adhesive.
It's certainly still good for Warzone, especially if you need a mic. Otherwise you can buy the mic separately and go with Simgot EA500, or Truthear Zero Red.

I think the cable of Kinera Gramr, priced at $49, is better than this Antlion Kimura. It also has swappable termination (3.5 at 4.4)

It more than likely will work since the Zero are only slightly recessed and the kimura 2 pin looks tho have the right socket housing

Yes you can. Good is a matter of opinion in this case, as the mic is tiny, but for gaming it’s definitely good enough

In ear monitor. A wired ear bud basically
A glorified earbud where the cable loops around the top of your ear. You have probably seen artists and musicians use them on stage for concerts.

All headphones work with Sonar.

Plug in the charging cable.
There is not any charging cable comes with it.Only one cable that will plug in to PS4 controller. Do I need to buy it and what the name of the plug?
