the most impressive of her video to me is her super strong illustrative ability, and her clear and appropriate pace of talking, easy to follow for dev beginner. good job Leila.
I did a query for "automate app close using iPhone Shortcuts" and this hit appered. Even though this video has absolutely NOTHING to do with what I'm looking for, I couldn't stop watching it. The instruction and CC are so smooth, well-paced, and impressively executed. Nicely done. I almost learned how to automate 4 or 5 tasks in my department and put us out of work within 6 months. Can't have that.
This is what will make MS useful for so many. The ability for ordinary (or non programmers) users the ability to quickly solve their small IT problems without needing expensive IT support. The fact that you can "automate" functions from different apps outside of the MS ecosystem is the real game changer. This info was brought to you by the simple and effective teaching from Leila Gharani! Thanks Leila!
Take my bow , ma'am. First time i heard about power automate today, and I listen your this video First . I find myself happy and lucky, that, -- I couldn't move my eyes , ears anywhere but your presentation with clear voice with strongly soft accent and information . In two years, I believe you are real advanced in power Automate. Good luck ma'am. Thanks.
So strange ... honestly, this is the 3rd or 4th week in a row, that your Tuesday lecture addresses an item I had written down on my To Do List to learn more about in the coming weeks, i.e. Planner, Teams, Whiteboard ... and now Power Automate. At the moment, this content is way over my head ... but I am very intrigued about its possibilities. A tsunami of ideas flows quickly ... to quickly because I still have a long way to go to be barely proficient ... and this video will have to be watched many times. Nonetheless, I still appreciate the content and admire the ease of presentation. Well done ... again (no surprise).
I literally stopped and applauded. I recently subscribed and started following you and the content you have provided has taken my business to the next level.
For anyone who's curious, give it a couple of minutes once you transfer the word file to the convert folder. The conversion didn't take place instantly and that got me worried. For multiple Word files, I am sure it will take anywhere between 4 - 10 minutes depending on the size of the document. Hope this helps.
Amazing content, Leila. There is no rival for you on YT regarding how this is presented and the quality of the picture. Waiting for some advanced episodes regarding power automate, power apps, power bi. Maybe you will show us how to use Azure ML in Power BI? Excel is great, but we need to develop ourselves. So I am waiting for Python and R courses from you.
You are AMAZING. I created Planner for an Applications Development team, thanks to you, and need to be informed whenever work is moved into UAT Ready (a Kanban bucket). Also being able to have an automated synopsis of the buckets will be an amazing timesaver.
I freaking love Power Automate. I had another system that would send zip files throughout the day containing Excel files to a shared E-mail. Power Automate would unzip them to a shared One Drive. I would afterward make One Drive Crash and Re-open for it to sync. Then I had an Excel script that would open and take those unzipped files and run em through five macros etc. and later send them to a Distribution List via. Outlook! I know Power Automate was only being used in the first step but it was so great!
Thanks Leila I explored it 02 years ago and spent some time on it. ..........Feeling geared up learning this from a top tutor. I believe it has lot of depth to learn and then apply to increase productivity. But you loose competitive advantage when it is commonly known to everyone. I think essence is to learn apply and teach other to master it and get respect.
BEEN running windows 14hr/day for 10 years. First time hearing MS having this kinda app. I only thought these were possible by personally programming a specific app cmd. Teaches me you never stop learning

I would love to learn how to get a notification whenever a file is uploaded in a sharepoint folder and automatically save it in a local folder! Thank you for your videos Leila! They are super useful to learn new tricks! 😀
Hey Leila, you are stepping into my domain now 🙂 Now jokes apart, this is a really good one. After so many years of teaching BizTalk, Workflow development, Power Automate and Logic Apps; I was still struggling to explain to business users, how Power Automate can make their life easier. Very well done. Thank you!
@@LeilaGharani And I have a lot to learn from you. I know how to cater to nerds and techies, but you have unbelievable talent in presenting technical stuff for general users. This is great content as usual!! You are THE BEST! I have used Flow for a couple of months but there is one task I haven't been able to do and many people ask about it. Extract data from a CSV received via email and add that data to existing data on other report.
Thank you. Just amazing - been looking at PA for month and not been able to understand it (age?) I found this video to be very clear and easy to understand. lots to take in and learn. again, thank you for posting this. very helpful.
Hi Leila -- You really are an excellent instructor - I've learned so much from your tutorials. Would you happen to have a video about automating submissions of Employee Ideas through MS Teams, to an Excel file (triggered by the submission of an idea)? Thank you!
I found this tutorial VERY good, clear and easy to follow. Your style of presentation Leila is fast and interesting and I like that as I can rerun the video knowing I do not have to wade through lots of useless 'presenter attitude' and keep focus on exactly what I want to know. You get on with educating, not babbling on about stuff that is not immediately relevant to what you are demonstrating. I have subscribed to your channel and hit the notification bell so that I can develop my understanding alongside you! Great to have you there to guide me. WELL DONE!
Finally !!! Power automate from you..hope to see more of these...there are so many in youtube but none of them explain as good as you do..i can provide some use cases for future videos..
1) I am trying to do send a teams notification when an email is recieved in a grp mail box from a specific email ids (both individual and grp mail ids). Currently it only takes the individual emails ids in the from field but does not take grp mail ids. Any thing we xan do abt it? 2) i want to select some data in excel like a table and then it should trigger an email to specific email ids from a grp mail box id with a specific msg and the table itself.
Excellent tutorial! Thank you for creating it! Seeing the power of Power Automate is simple.. harnessing that power is way more confusing. Keep them coming Leila!
Excellent, as always! What I'd like to know (I'll governo it a try myself) is automating things in Teams, such as automatically refreshing the link to a weekly meeting withing a group and sending and e-mail and WhatsApp message to all members of that team on the eve of the meeting and on the day of the meeting one hour before the meeting is scheduled to start.
Thank you Leila! Make videos with power automate desktop and Excel, please! For example: 1. How to split end send files to many different users (by region, etc) 2. How to grab and consolidate data from Web to Excel.
Hi Leila. Thank you for this informative video. I was wondering if there is a flow that would save the attachment from certain email to a shared server location or local hard drive ?
