This game is extremely underrated. I loved this game and will continue to go back and play it over again. I really hope they make a second game with an even bigger map plus keep all the same areas to re-visit. It would be cool to see some extended bladed spikes attached to the motorcycle wheels to chew up crowds of zombies while riding through them. I loved the exploration aspect and the crafting.

I just finished this game this weekend....the fact Sony determined this game wasn't good enough for a remake tells me they are disconnected from gamers. The games incredible and deserves a sequel. It has the ability to be a top tier series.
You do realize Days Gone is a new IP with no need for a remake, also it wasn't Sony that "determined" it did not deserve a sequel that was the local management team within Bend Studio itself

I really want a sequel, I mean i don't understand what was the problem with days gone, You want to do the missions stealthy way? You can! guns blezzing? You can! You can even use enemy ais to fight each other, so many weapons & so good storyline with all different missions, Also the story Deacon taught me how to be a better friend, a better husband & an awesome human being, Days Gone definitely deserve a series not just a sequel
The gameplay was pretty repetitive, but the biggest flaw for me was the fuel mechanic. Imagine being able to only make 20 miles on a full tank. This got so boring that I just quit the game after 3 settlements.
Add me as one of the gamers who thought this was an excellent game and would like a sequel. I don’t understand why it didn’t catch on. A little slow to develop perhaps but no more so than a lot other games out there.
Prbl cause it's not on same lvl as God of war or other exclusives but look at ghost of Tsushima getting sequel makes no sense game good story fun gameplay not sure wtf problem
Sad to hear. I'm a 52 year-old gamer. Been through many games, over the last 4+ decades. I've been playing the pc port of Days Gone, since its release and it's one of my favorite games of all time. Beautiful graphics and art direction. Excellent story with strong voice acting that created memorable characters, Deek being at the top of that list. It's 2022 and I still revisit this game. Such an overlooked gem in a market of countless copycat games.
I've played Days Gone just this end of 2021 not expecting anything because I've seen some reviews giving it "bad" scores but damn this games is very fun to play ( example is i think i've play one day for straight solid 10 hrs doing main/ side quests which is very rare because i usually only play 3hrs then rest maybe because i'm not young anymore that i sometimes find playing video games exhausting/ boring). It's like I was transported back in time where I used to binge-play games. Story/ writing is not its greatest strength but definitely not bad and have some interesting pacing/ back story/ characters.
I actually popped this back in last week and started playing it again. The beauty of this game after you beat it is the ability to reset the hordes, nests, and ambush camps anytime you want.
After seeing the Matrix demo, Days Gone in Unreal Engine 5 would have really been something considering it was a Unreal Engine 4 game. This was the title I was most hyped about for PS5 back when I had just assumed it was coming. Just goes to show you that out of touch pretentious ‘critics’ really can screw us out of certain titles. I think Sony dropped the ball on this one, and this game has some of the best word of mouth I have ever seen which is what made me finally pick it up and play it. One of the biggest surprises and one of the best games of last gen..
_Sony Interactive Entertainment_ were not the ones that rejected the _Days Gone_ sequel, _Syphon Filter_ revival, open world _Resistance_ pitches that was all the local management within _Bend Studio_ itself The only reason _Bend Studio_are producing a new IP is because that was the only pitch _Bend Studio_ management team sent to _SIE_
It seems pretty dumb to abandon an IP with potential. Personally, I enjoyed Days Gone quite a bit and I'd really like to know where the story goes next since the true ending had an excellent twist\cliffhanger. But nope, can Days Gone and start a brand new IP open world game that I have no connection with or interest in. Idk, the whole situation kind of sucks. I hope they make something awesome, but I don't see in any way how hitting the reset button will actually help Bend refine their process and deliver a better game.
@@BobbyCiii I believe if it gets talked about and Sony sees people really want another game in the series it’ll eventually be made. Game has huge potential
I am pretty sure it's getting a sequel. I mean it did good, probably not as good as God of War or ghost of Tsushima or Last of us but it still did. I know Bend studios is now working on a new IP but the hope is still there. There is no way they will just abandon this project like this after the cliffhanger of an ending they gave us.
@@Orain88 True but still I still have hopes for it. I mean after the end of last of us(it pretty much sums the franchise, don't think there will be anymore of it), Days gone could've been the next last of us but they just had to drop it. It has potential you neve know. I mean it's Sony not Ubisoft which is disconnected from the community and does what it wishes. They said they would be working on a new IP not that they would leave Days Gone completely.
No joke, this is my favourite and most revisited games of all time. I absolutely adore it. I genuinely couldn't be more disappointed that we won't see a sequel 😟 I think this has way more to do with personal in-house disagreements rather than the actual game.
I would say it’s still possible a sequel could happen some day, granted the odds are low as of right now but I wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s guaranteed to never happen.
Days gone had it’s issues but it is definitely in my top10 fav games and definitely a great Sony exclusive. Sony is out of their mind if they want to cancel a sequel. Days gone is the most fun I’ve had in a video game in a very long time and holds a special place in my heart.
Agreed. I loved every second of it. The story with Sarah was the best thing about the game for me, and I wanted to experience more of it in the sequel.
@@abstraktfilms I played like 7 hours and I couldn’t continue! It was soo slow and boring. My fingers still hurts! For trying to make the character go fast.
I'm convinced the game developers pissed off someone important. I do not understand the negative reviews at all. The first chapter is a little slow maybe, but I don't know how anyone could have finished the game and not enjoy it thoroughly.
@@joshbrenner1919even the developers stated the critics didn't play the entirety of the game. Woke reviewers shot this game down fr their own agendas. Stating things like, oh no, another white male protagonist ',' Deacon's a redneck'
Days Gone was a criminally under-rated game. I really enjoed this game and the story line as well. The map of this game is very diverse and all I can hope for is that there could be a Days Gone 2, to continue this rollercoaster of a story and game.
Facts I just got the chance to play it and got all the endings and o'brians ending really leaves us on a cliffhanger sad that it wont have a sequel its honestly a great game more of a reason why devs and all should really listen to the gamers just like rdr2 if they'd add shit that the gamers would want or suggest it wouldn't be dying such as days gone...sad
Yeah I’m with you guys there, give the kinda drab and predictable story a veto and just enjoy everything that’s there. Great game, great fun and surprisingly relaxing just driving around Oregon
Playing this patched up game without ever playing it through its teething phase - top tier game. A sequel will likely never happen but this game is one of the greats.
So true, yet it’s TLOU 2 that gets all the praise from critics due to it’s wOkeNeSs & dIvErSitY most likely. Yes the TLOU2 was better graphically & in terms of physics/animations, but Days Gone had by far the better story & characters for me.
@@EH_1995 completely agree. Days Gone really surprised me while i was playing with how much realistic and grounded the characters were. All of them acted and behaved like real people living in a ruined world. No time for anything other then survival and trying hard to make the next day a little better then the day before.
Agreed. tlou 2 was exactly what Days Gone gets criticised for. It's very repetitive and overstayed it's welcome. It wasn't even that fun. Days Gone was a better game in my opinion as I actually enjoyed playing the whole game. If the res were reversed and Sony's lil darlings naughty Dog (who's pretty much made the same 2 games over and over since PS3) released Days Gone, we'd be getting a sequel this year...
Guess I'm one that goes against the grain. I own both Days Gone and TLOU2. I played Days Gone for about 4 hours...never played it again. Played TLOU2 and couldn't put it down. I didn't play any other game til I finished it. Easily my favorite game on PS4. I pre-ordered it like 4 months before the game came out then all the leaks started coming out. I didn't play it when it launched due to all the unnecessary hate. Finally decided to play it after 2 months and was blown away from start to finish. Just my take on it. We're all entitled to our own opinions. Maybe I did give up on Days Gone too soon🤷🏾♂️
@@xMiketheManx the last of us 2 is in no way a bad game. Its narrative is fantastic. But it's by no means mould breaking, nor does its basic gameplay loop change throughout its run. I'm simply saying it's just as guilty for things that days gone copped a load of crap for. I play tlou 2 through once. I played days gone through probably 3 times. Horses for courses I guess
I've been video gaming since atari back in the 1980s, and gotta say days gone had a incredible story was maybe one of best story lines I played, I think the game was incredible and was shocked there won't be a sequel, there definitely disconnected from what gamers want.
I honestly loved this game! Played it after it had been out a month or two, so maybe it had received a good amount of patches, but I had barley any issues with it and overall I enjoyed every single aspect of it. Had so much fun taking down the zombies, all the hordes, side quests etc. I went and Platinumed it I was having so much fun!
Sony would rather make ANOTHER last of us remake that’s what. Days Gone was a really good game, could use some polish but was a ton of fun. Sony is only focused on making bangers like god of war to TLOU. They’re not interested in making smaller titles
This game has something what draws me back to it over and over again playing it right now in survival mode for the third time on Ps5 I think they don’t even know what kind of opportunity they missing to make this game even better and bigger. Btw I never played any other game ever 3 times I am 62 and a gamer for 25 years and that means something.
Dude if this game doesn’t get a sequel Sony has completely detached from the community, this is a gamers game even with all the minimal issues this game is fantastic and I loved all the shout outs to siphonfilter.
I was avoiding days gone because of things being said about it but I was like still this game with the freaker hoard and using a motor bike I have to play this. Also everyone saying give this game a chance it’s good. I absolutely love days gone and I did everything in the game with a playtime of almost 70 hours. This game deserves a sequel!
I downloaded Days Gone free on PSN and ended up loving it so much I bought a physical copy for myself and also sent one to a friend of mine up in Oregon who was born and raised there.
The look & feel of this game was something else! Oregon is so beautiful! The combat was extremely fun. Hell even opening cars was great. The bike as rpg element was great too - I wish other games had that. I loved the upgrade system a lot.
the nero lore and all the camps with their ideology and every time you progressed further into the story new enemies, weapons, upgrades would appear. Never a dull repetitive moment
First game I was driven to finish in as long as I can remember. Just enough story, combat, set pieces and collecting to scratch every itch without seeming daunting or boring. Bummed that Sony never greenlit the sequel.
I don't like how we got screwed out of a co-op mode or having the secondary character not follow us on more missions than he did. He gets fxcked within 30 minutes into the game regardless of how fast we move and it was literally us on our own for 90% of the game because of it.
I played it 2 years later with no bugs and very refined. I loved it ! I still have it and won't sell it back to Game Stop. Waiting to get a 65" TV in 2022 and then pop it back in and go back and clear the Hordes. This game NEEDS a sequel.
Seeing horizon forbidden west, the changes, the improvement guerrilla games have done from their previous game Horizon zero dawn after learning how to improve their next game i can bet that bend studios would have done the same things with days gone 2 as they have learned so much that what they have to implement in the next installment of days gone and they would have improved days gone to a next level and it would have been a great game.
I HATE anything to do with zombies. It's so played out. I played this game despite that bc it got my attention when I saw the first trailer. I LOVE this game and I didn't expect that. This game is amazing and, sadly, they won't continue to make it especially with the cliffhanger they left us with.
Literally couldn't care less about Bend making a *DIFFERENT* game, whether they use the technology of Days Gone or not. People...ESPECIALLY publishers (though, do they really count as people?) dont seem to understand that people dont play games FOR THE TECHNOLOGY, they play them FOR THE STORY. And Days Gone had one HELL of a story. It needs, it DESERVES, a sequel!!
Sony really should read the comments on RUclips. This game gets overwhelmingly positive comments from the people who played it, including me. Easily one of my top 3 open world games. So disappointed we won’t get a sequel.

Just finished it and I couldn’t of loved this game anymore than it is such a good story to it and gameplay is great I didn’t have any problems what so ever the bike mechanics are great different enemies you can tackle the game the way you want it’s a 9/10 game in my opinion
@Poopoo Peepee agree completely. Seems like everyone loved this game.. seems like it was more than technical stuff or money that stopped a sequel. Seems more political or some kind of personal dislike between a higher up of Sony and the project team or manager of the game. I still play this game today and it impresses me every time. I just connect with the characters, and the voice acting it great.
@poopoopeepee9900 while hes not actually white, a lot of people view him this way so I’ll bring him up. Ever heard of kratos? No one fuckin cares if a white dude is cool. The game was a bug ridden fuck fest at the start and for some reason people hated how “silly” it was and the biker aesthetic it took on.
This is by far my favorite game and I played it and beat it multiple times, this game got screwed by the reviewers but I'm excited to maybe to see the TV series that I heard about but bend studios has been working on a sequel for a bit but I truly love this game very much
Days gone is one of the best game ever made.. All the characters will connect with you.. there are few games in which you get connected with the character.. hope we will get sequel...
I seriously hope they make a sequel. A game doesn’t have to be perfect to be good. I loved playing days gone. Challenging game but it was fun when you finally got past a hard level or took out that horde that caused you to die so many times.
This is by far one of my favorite games to date. The bs reviews hurt the chances of this game getting a sequel. Despite the fact that player reviews are really good. I’m hoping that Sony changed their mind later on, it would be a shame not to give this awesome game a sequel.
What they’re not getting is that there are dedicated fan bases for these games. The Order 1886 was too short of a game but I feel like if they had fleshed out the world and had expanded on the lore, a sequel or even a remake could be possible.
Only bad thing about this game was, what to play after third walkthrough at Survival II? Every other game looked dull. I don't have any interest in playing anything else anymore. This game has become legendary, ones in a lifetime masterpiece. It asked Last of Us 2 to hold it's beer and Sony didn't like that.
I don’t know why they don’t make a sequel to this game! I’ve beaten this game probably 20 times and I’m still playing it up until this day! The replay quality that this game has is off the charts!
I actually really loved the game. It wasn't ground breaking like God of War or Spiderman, but it was solid, good story, and relatively bug-free. I think it was just lacking in depth with gameplay, and that wouldn't have been hard to add in a part 2. :( I also thought that it was really lacking in the marketing department for a Sony title. I kinda just stumbled onto it a month or two after release.
I pre ordered this game on my PS4. Initially it was buggy. But my goodness I have never seen such graphics , at times it out shadowed red dead 2 s graphics, specially the character model tht they created , the environment it looks too realistic. Today as I watch this video, the credits are rolling on my tv, yes i finished my third play through, this time on my PS5. It really needs a sequel.
I beat the game about 2 months ago. I absolutely loved this game. I realized it’s not a masterpiece, but I had tons of fun with it. The story was also good. Im very sad that #2 doesn’t seem to be happening.
One of the best game's I've ever played in the last 30 years of playing, it's a shame there's no follow up to it was really looking forward to it, I've completed it 3 time's and am still playing
I think Days Gone is the type of chill game you play when you feel like chillen while playing tbh.... The game let's you pick what missions you want to do most of the time so it's kind of a chill adventure really playing this game cx
They need to just look at the people's response to the game which was well received. Flaws and all its a great game. Better than some of the crap they think is all that! I love the game and I plan on playing it again this week. Make a Days Gone 2 and I'll purchase it no questions asked!
Probably my all time favourite game. I like zombies. Guns and motorbikes. Absolutely perfect. Got the platinum and completed it 3 times. It's just really good
The sound track to the mission of trying to find Sarah and the hope of ending up with Rikki. I was emotionally attached the entire game start to finish.
Just finished playing the game my first play through on PS5, and wow. This is one of my favourite games I’ve played. Great story, and great gameplay and map and the hordes. How this doesn’t get a sequel is beyond me.
I TOTALLY love this game!! It's up there with Skyrim and Farcry in my opinion! The Platinum trophy was challenging, but doable. Can't wait for Days gone 2! 🥰
Hope Xbox acquires it and then I will follow by buying my way to it. This game was amazing story character development gameplay graphics. Yet some other dumb games have being considered gold. There was still more to this game had to offer after the first one ended.
This whole scenario still baffles me. This is one of my top 3 PS4 games (along with Spidey and Last of us 2). It did almost everything I wanted in an open world zombie game with great RPG mechanics. And the fact that I won't get to see where that massive cliffhanger will lead has honestly just pissed me off to no end.
Played through this game again on PC. Hopefully they reconsider not releasing a sequel. This is my favorite game of the PS4 generation. So fucking underrated If the reviewers could be bothered to actually fucking play a game before reviewing it instead of just guessing what it's like if it's not a AAA First person shooter or walking sim then maybe the metacritic score would have been decent.
Days Gone was one of the best games I’ve played. I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline even if some of the missions seemed a bit repetitive. I was looking forward to a sequel to carry on the story and find out more about the spread of the virus/contagion.
Everyone is complaining about days gone.. idk why but the devs really nailed the project...it's like living the dream. I mean who doesn't like an open world post apocalyptic zombie Survival sandbox right? I always support bend studio for their efforts 👼🏼
Definitely underrated and not a bad game, HOWEVER also not as great as all these comments here are painting it out to be. The gameplay was fun overall, and it had some pretty neat/unique mechanics. Even so, you could tell that some of the mechanics weren't fully fleshed out and could've been worked on some more. Also considering the game was very story focused, it was severely lacking. The narrative at times was all over the place, while also having some minor inconsistencies. And that's not even mentioning all the technical issues the game had/has(literally just beat the game 2 weeks ago). BUT even with all these issues, Days Gone still has a lot of things going for it. The gorgeous open world, with its fun zombie hordes, and wildlife. Combined with the unique traversal mechanics and the crafting system. Upgrading your weapons, motorcycle, the variety of utensils you could use, etc. I genuinely had fun playing the game for most part, if I had to give it a rating it would be a 7.5/10. The reason I want to see a part 2 is because you can clearly see how much potential this game has. If they just fix the issues they have it could turn out to be such a great game, it already has a strong foundation. Hopefully we see it in the foreseeable future.
Honestly speaking one of the reasons I bought a ps5 along with a series x was to play this game as it always intrigued me. I’m glad I made that purchase because I’m loving this game and even though I do admit it has issues I really think they would knock it out of the park with a sequel
This is an incredible game. Bought it a week ago and I can't stop playing it. Yes, there are a few things I would change regarding the interface and controls, but wow! Incredible experience all the same!! It deserves a sequel. And to the writing staff and voice actors...you knocked it out of the park!!
I really don’t understand Sony because this is one of the BEST GAMES IVE EVER PLAYED. I remember the first time I played it I was glued to the television for a week.
The PC port wasn't just one of the better ports I have played, it also surprised me by being a brilliant game with some unexpected character development and solid story. Companies like Sony put to much credit in reviewer scores (present company excluded, GamingBolt) and not enough merit in user reviews... you know... US! The people that actually buy the game! Days Gone did very well amongst fans, turning to Metacritic again, currently we have 8.4 for the PS4 version and 8.7 for the PC. Personally, I believe this game just works better on PC as well (although, don't quote me on that, I have not played the PS4 version) ... exclusivity remains the enemy of every consumer. With the new God of War on PC now as well, I hope Sony continues this trend!
This is why i hate when companies push out games and don't give it time to fix the bugs. Was the game the greatest game ever? No. Was it fun and had a lot going for it, hell yes. I think if they could have another shot had making another Days Gone maybe iron out some of the kinks then it would have been amazing. I loved how it talked about community and loyalty and understand the complexity of it. For example, Copeland valued personal freedom above all else, which can be dangerous as if you let one of your most vauleable people to leave and get hurt then you can be a serious disadvantage. I would have loved to gone in a little more story when it comes to him. We don't really know about him, but he keeps talking about conspiracy-fueled stuff, which does have a grain of truth to it. Ada Tucker was also interesting as her idea of keeping people safe is using them as slave labour which discuss the idea of security vs freedom. I would have loved interaction between Copeland and Tucker. Iron Mike is very much the heart, but when you are dealing with people who are scared and dangerous, sometimes you got to be violent. Iron Mike's pacifism acts as the catalyst for the near destruction of his camp. The Colonel was a nut job, but if i was in an apocalypse I would very tempted to have law and order. Knowing that all the rules apply to everyone. Hell even the rippers had a sense of community about them and the extreme lengths people would be to have a sense of belonging. I mean we see them in cults and the like. I think the story really got to me. Was it slow at the start, yep, but i like the build up, I just think it needed a second chance to really set itself apart. Did it do anything new with the gameplay? No, but the story was so strong and engaging that I will continue to play it coming up with new and creative way to kill freakers.
I loved the part of the story when you thought you and boozer where going on a suicide mission but then all 3 camps come to help and destroy the militia, sad to see no part 2 because I would love to see what is going on with O'Brian
I did enjoy Days Gone, but several factors could have added up to dissuade Sony Bend from a sequel: 1. A higher than expected development cost and relatively low sales resulted in too little return on their investment 2. It didn't exactly get critical or fan acclaim (though it gained some somewhat notable fan praise down the line when bugs were ironed out) 3. The pitched story/direction of the sequel and franchise didn't look promising enough to keep investing money into the franchise without sales forecasts being as high as they'd want. 4. Sony ended up factoring in that they'd prefer only one zombie franchise in their portfolio and wanted Bend to work on a new IP that would expand their portfolio and that they felt showed more promise.
Thanks 🙌🙌🙌 I love this game and I even have the platinum trophy but a second game is absolutely not necessary, the world and the history are cool but it doesnt have much potential
This was a great game! I’d definitely play a sequel if they made it and I feel like I have to say it these days, they come up with a good story and expand on the mechanics of the first and it’s a polished game and not just another sequel they want to crap out.
I happen to be one of the rare one's that actually like this game, mind you I didn't play it when it first released, I waited at least 2 years when the game got several update patches to fix some of the glitches.
The studio can make any games they want, and they may be good, but they won't have the characters and the story of Days Gone, so it won't be the same and probably I won't like them. The characters, story, and environment are the most important things in a game. Just making another game doesn't work, no matter how good they are.
As I see it, there aren´t many good zombie games out there so this game is like gold for me. 350 hours played and counting. I feel like Days Gone 2 could´ve been the absolute best game in this genre with some unique and interesting features that would make the game an almost realistic hardcore survival experience. With the state of gaming lately, I feel like there definitely should´ve been a sequel. Pretty much all we´re getting now are remakes, remasters and games that look bad, can barely run without a bug for a few minutes and where we tend to spend more time fixing the problem than actually playing the game. May Days Gone 2 see the light of day 🤞
This game is extremely underrated.

Days gone is one of the best games I enjoyed in a long time.
yeah it had a good story
Same
Same,I was so invested when playing it,haven't felt that way for a game inquite a while when it comes to story based games with guns.
I just finished Days Gone, holy crap what a story! The game play was intense and insanely fun, but man, the story kept me glued to my chair
I agree it was such a good game
I've played Days Gone just this end of 2021 not expecting anything because I've seen some reviews giving it "bad" scores but damn this games is very fun to play ( example is i think i've play one day for straight solid 10 hrs doing main/ side quests which is very rare because i usually only play 3hrs then rest maybe because i'm not young anymore that i sometimes find playing video games exhausting/ boring). It's like I was transported back in time where I used to binge-play games. Story/ writing is not its greatest strength but definitely not bad and have some interesting pacing/ back story/ characters.
That sucks there won’t be a sequel. This game was so much fun.
There should be one! Especially with the post-game cut scenes!
Exactly
_Sony Interactive Entertainment_ were not the ones that rejected the _Days Gone_ sequel, _Syphon Filter_ revival, open world _Resistance_ pitches that was all the local management within _Bend Studio_ itself
The only reason _Bend Studio_are producing a new IP is because that was the only pitch _Bend Studio_ management team sent to _SIE_
I'm f****** pissed that we don't get a sequel
@@BobbyCiii I believe if it gets talked about and Sony sees people really want another game in the series it’ll eventually be made. Game has huge potential
I am pretty sure it's getting a sequel. I mean it did good, probably not as good as God of War or ghost of Tsushima or Last of us but it still did. I know Bend studios is now working on a new IP but the hope is still there. There is no way they will just abandon this project like this after the cliffhanger of an ending they gave us.
@@GamerKing-sh7ud the way sony's been acting lately, I'm not holding my breath.
I genuinely couldn't be more disappointed that we won't see a sequel 😟
I think this has way more to do with personal in-house disagreements rather than the actual game.
Agreed 100%. I’m so bummed they’re not making a sequel. My favorite game of all time!
I would say it’s still possible a sequel could happen some day, granted the odds are low as of right now but I wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s guaranteed to never happen.
@@michaelmanherz7918 I hope you are right man. :(
Days gone had it’s issues but it is definitely in my top10 fav games and definitely a great Sony exclusive. Sony is out of their mind if they want to cancel a sequel. Days gone is the most fun I’ve had in a video game in a very long time and holds a special place in my heart.
In mine too. :(
Apart from a couple minor annoyances Days Gone was a great game, I would buy a sequel on day 1.
One of the best games I ever played, the story and the action is 10/10 . 💪💪💪

Hell yeah
I'm convinced the game developers pissed off someone important. I do not understand the negative reviews at all. The first chapter is a little slow maybe, but I don't know how anyone could have finished the game and not enjoy it thoroughly.

We need to get a petition signed for this
Facts I just got the chance to play it and got all the endings and o'brians ending really leaves us on a cliffhanger sad that it wont have a sequel its honestly a great game more of a reason why devs and all should really listen to the gamers just like rdr2 if they'd add shit that the gamers would want or suggest it wouldn't be dying such as days gone...sad

Ill admit first 2 hours story is non existent and just hard to follow but after 3rd camp its as good as any game

Playing this patched up game without ever playing it through its teething phase - top tier game. A sequel will likely never happen but this game is one of the greats.
Days Gone is what TLOU 2 never managed to be for me.
Loved it from start to finish.
I do hope there´s a sequel cause that cliffhanger...
I'm desperate for a sequel. I love this game! Top 5 games of all time. Where can I sign the petition?!
Top 5 games of all time?!? acceptable only if you've only played 5 games all time.

It's part of why I also got an Xbox this generation. I'll always have a playstation but most of my money is going to Xbox.
Imagine a company only wanting to make bangers and not spend time polishing turds...

Also everyone saying give this game a chance it’s good. I absolutely love days gone and I did everything in the game with a playtime of almost 70 hours. This game deserves a sequel!

A remake of a remaster of a PS3 game. Between this and GTA 5 there will never be any new games made.

The Witcher 3 and Days Gone are 2 of my favorite games of all time. This game DESERVES a sequel 💯
This is one of my favorite games of all time and it deserves a sequel. DAYS GONE is a very under rated game that people need to play.
Sony really should read the comments on RUclips. This game gets overwhelmingly positive comments from the people who played it, including me. Easily one of my top 3 open world games. So disappointed we won’t get a sequel.

It would have been 10/10 but their not making another one so I gave it a 9/10
@poopoopeepee9900 while hes not actually white, a lot of people view him this way so I’ll bring him up. Ever heard of kratos? No one fuckin cares if a white dude is cool. The game was a bug ridden fuck fest at the start and for some reason people hated how “silly” it was and the biker aesthetic it took on.
This is by far my favorite game and I played it and beat it multiple times, this game got screwed by the reviewers but I'm excited to maybe to see the TV series that I heard about but bend studios has been working on a sequel for a bit but I truly love this game very much
I hope another publisher gets ahold of this and makes the 2nd game 👍🏻
They could easily make a days gone 2 and ending the apocalypse and continue on with deeks and sarahs future

I remember going out and buying a PlayStation SPECIFICALLY to play this game. I don’t regret it at all.
I seriously hope they make a sequel. A game doesn’t have to be perfect to be good. I loved playing days gone. Challenging game but it was fun when you finally got past a hard level or took out that horde that caused you to die so many times.
Despite everything, this game was one of the most original games I've played on the PS4.
This is by far one of my favorite games to date.
The bs reviews hurt the chances of this game getting a sequel. Despite the fact that player reviews are really good.
I’m hoping that Sony changed their mind later on, it would be a shame not to give this awesome game a sequel.
It's got some technical flaws and is rough around the edges but it's a good game
Totally underrated game. Loved it. Never understood the criticism it got.
Shame Sony couldn't see the potential of a second game !
What they’re not getting is that there are dedicated fan bases for these games. The Order 1886 was too short of a game but I feel like if they had fleshed out the world and had expanded on the lore, a sequel or even a remake could be possible.
Days Gone is easily one of my favorite PS4 games, and probably one of my favorite games, period. Sucks that it isn’t getting a sequel.
Thanks for covering this GamingBolt, not a bad take but I hoped you guys would push for a sequel then talk about the new IP. Thanks anyways.
Is there anyway we can all get together and petition sony for a sequel of days gone
I actually really loved the game. It wasn't ground breaking like God of War or Spiderman, but it was solid, good story, and relatively bug-free. I think it was just lacking in depth with gameplay, and that wouldn't have been hard to add in a part 2. :(
I also thought that it was really lacking in the marketing department for a Sony title.
The DEI crowd that has infiltrated (and is ruining) games took one look at Days Gone and killed any possibility of a sequel.

Just finished the game today. Such an underrated game. The story and graphic were amazing. This needs a follow up!
They need to just look at the people's response to the game which was well received. Flaws and all its a great game. Better than some of the crap they think is all that! I love the game and I plan on playing it again this week. Make a Days Gone 2 and I'll purchase it no questions asked!

Dafaq, i played this game three times. The story is immersive and has potential to grow. Sony have no connection with gaming community.
Hope Xbox acquires it and then I will follow by buying my way to it. This game was amazing story character development gameplay graphics. Yet some other dumb games have being considered gold.

I thought days gone was really good I'd love a number 2 🤷♂️
This was the best PS4 game, it's criminal that it won't get a sequel
Honestly speaking one of the reasons I bought a ps5 along with a series x was to play this game as it always intrigued me. I’m glad I made that purchase because I’m loving this game and even though I do admit it has issues I really think they would knock it out of the park with a sequel
This game was awesome. Instant buy. I had no issues whatsoever.
This is an incredible game. Bought it a week ago and I can't stop playing it. Yes, there are a few things I would change regarding the interface and controls, but wow! Incredible experience all the same!! It deserves a sequel.
And to the writing staff and voice actors...you knocked it out of the park!!
I loved this game and really want a sequel, make it happen guys!
I did enjoy Days Gone, but several factors could have added up to dissuade Sony Bend from a sequel:
1. A higher than expected development cost and relatively low sales resulted in too little return on their investment
2. It didn't exactly get critical or fan acclaim (though it gained some somewhat notable fan praise down the line when bugs were ironed out)
Days gone definitely underrated game. I enjoyed it a lot. Sequel of this game should be made.
This was a great game! I’d definitely play a sequel if they made it and I feel like I have to say it these days, they come up with a good story and expand on the mechanics of the first and it’s a polished game and not just another sequel they want to crap out.
A big mistake if there isn't a sequel. This game rocks and I would definitely buy a days gone 2.
I happen to be one of the rare one's that actually like this game, mind you I didn't play it when it first released, I waited at least 2 years when the game got several update patches to fix some of the glitches.
You´re not rare. Despite the review scores, everyone that i talk to ends up saying the game was actually great.
What do you mean rare ones? Days Gone sold decently well and was gonna get a sequel. Critic wise it was about 50/50 but user scores were alot higher.
@@MiguelXisto1 What I mean is not that I'm rare, it's just I've heard negative feedback on this game.
@@SolidSnake240 Not that I'm rare, it's just that I've heard a lot of negative feedback on this game.
@@robertobuatti7226 yeah. I meant youre not rare for liking the game. There are a lot of us you think its a great game. :)
The studio can make any games they want, and they may be good, but they won't have the characters and the story of Days Gone, so it won't be the same and probably I won't like them. The characters, story, and environment are the most important things in a game. Just making another game doesn't work, no matter how good they are.
I think Days Gone coming out happened.
May Days Gone 2 see the light of day 🤞
Dying Light is a much better zombie game trust me
