Purchased 2024 Grand Cherokee L Limited 4WD this weekend. Still watched your review and was good at comparing. The Limited cost me about $59,000 with options like panoramic sunroof and passenger screen. This model was a great price compared to all the trim levels if you want most of the luxury features minus all the upgraded 4WD off roading capabilities. It is the primary vehicle of my wife that will never use those and finally downsized from her Suburbans. Almost empty nesters now. Very nice, hoping that is dependable for several years. Will just have to see.
Got a 24 L limited with panoramic and three rows for just under 51000 . Iwas looking at Kia Telluride with same options thinking I could save some money . The Jeep was a much more solid vehicle and probably ended up costing alot less than telluride. The telluride was ok but kind of plastic feeling and much harder ride . The Jeep just felt solid
Every time I decelerate to 18 mph (4th gear to 3rd gear) there is a knocking sound, whether the brakes are applied or not . 2022 Grand Cherokee L Limit , knocking sound does stop with the TSC off. knocking sound does stop with the cold weather.
If you're shopping this model, do seriously consider the 5.7L Hemi V8 option. It completely changes the character of the vehicle, much quieter and smoother than the Pentastar V6. We test drove both the V6 and V8 and went with the Hemi. You'll take a hit of a few mpg's, but well worth it. Plus no stupid start/stop system with the V8.
The Calligraphy would be the value option of those two. But the Summit has many features unavailable on the Hyundai, so that does substantially balloon the price.
@@hellkitty1014 One thing to keep in mind is that you're likely to get a substantial discount on the Jeep, whereas Hyundai dealers are going to try and gouge you on a Palisade. Kia/Hyundai have attractive MSRPs, but in the real world, out the door, I doubt they are any cheaper.
Yes I like it maybe you could do a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve I want to see what that looks like see how much luxury it has against the other rivals Elisa's main rivals
My 2023 Grand Cherokee's Capri seat material is leatherette (aka vinyl) not leather. Looks nice though and with the ventilated seats, it should breathe well enough.
And it won't crack. I had a 2018 Chevy Tahoe with leather, and it cracked within two years. I take very good care of my vehicles and this was a maddening thing to happen.
There are huge discounts on Jeep Grand Cherokee Ls almost $10,000 less than msrp and some. Jeep might as well drop the price on these. They can sell more.
Traverse is due for a redesign in a year or so now, it’s old. I’d say get a Telluride for $5,000-10,000 less. Still has the “rugged luxury” image and a longer warranty. I had a 2020 Telluride for a few years and loved it, flawless ownership experience. I like these Jeeps too, but the price is hard to justify beyond the mid-$40,000 mark. I also had a 2018 Jeep Compass that I enjoyed.
I traded in my 2020 Grand Cherokee for the 2024 Grand Cherokee L Limited.. I loved driving it until the battery died twice after leaving the dealership twice.. Jeep still doesnt know how to fix it
You can get a Larado X for that price. Little different seats and infotainment center. We just bought a 2024 grand Cherokee L Limited for 46k. They are starting to marking them down
The center stack looks very jumbled and all that glossy black is not gonna be good to keep clean and looking fresh. Other than that it looks pretty good overall
@@barbz_zayneI had a 2018 Compass and it was fine. For 2023, they changed the main objection I had with the Compass - it’s engine/transmission setup. You now get a 2.0T engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission instead of the ZF 9-speed. MUCH better.
All of that scratchy piano black plastic is such a disgrace and an automatic deal breaker for me. I think it is awful that car manufacturers think this material is cool when it looks like they got it from a used Walmart parts bin. I dislike it and it should never be anywhere near a cabin of a vehicle. It always looks dirty and smudgy. When I pay more than 40k on a car, I would like to not have to constantly clean plastic every time I get in the car. It ruins the look and there is so much everywhere. It looks super budget, super cost cutting
L is for your gas mileage......LOUSY!! First calculation was 14.44 mpg. Second time we calculated....11.77, probably because we used the AC twice during the 109miles we drove, LOL. The car only has 250 miles on it, so maybe it needs breaking in? Not real happy with what we purchased. This is terrible gas mileage because when we bought it they said 21 MPG on the sticker.
went and looked at it , 3rd row not the best use of space , do like the 121" wb ... now if it was a 2 row trail hawk L , soild rear axle, off roader , one could build a great overlander as a off roader car camper overlander we have no need , want or will ever have. use for a rd row, we want payload and packing space for our camping kit no 3rd row = more payload and towing
to get a true low range one has to go to overland , summit or higher trim level , there is a off road package opt , gets 18" rims and is trail rated on the overland L now add the V8 , off road group will any dealers order it that way ??
not that. great design , same with the wagoneer or wagoneer L ,the 2 row grand Cherokee roof line looks the best more of the orig wagoneer look , just needs a soild rear axle more rubican like trail hawk is now a 4Xe
60k for that lmao. I paid 49k for my palisade limited that has a pano sunroof, heads up display, better stereo, etc etc. people are out of their minds paying high prices for mediocrity.
An engine design from 2016? battery under the passenger seat and horrible tranny filter/ pan design! Steering wheel too big ! The only good thing is the transmission itself. Pass, the Traverse is much better!!
L is for what you’re gonna get when you see those car payments. 😂
Quite a bit of a price jump from previous year!
Just got mine yesterday it is so much better than my previous GC
not too bad
Buy it outright.
@@vincenzo839 I hope you didn't pay $75k for a 290hp suv..lol
I got a L and I use it for work and daily use , this truck is the most comfortable ride ever

What a professional great job on this review! All possible information was addressed. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed the review! 😁
Holy ginormous piano black in middle of interior Batman. They have to change that before I consider this vehicle. So cheap.
I would appreciate if you guys talking about the car mileage of that Grand Cherokee
Y’all should a grand wagoneer and the grand Jeep Cherokee summit reserve comparison
Excellent review!
Thank you kindly!
Im curious how the summit GCL compares to the 2023 palisade calligraphy.

Grand Highlander hybrid Max makes 365hp/400ft-lb
But it will be a heavy beast.
@@hellkitty1014 this one is not?
I think the Grand Highlander will be the one to get.
Shouldn't this one be compare to regular highlander and not grand highlander

Too bad they don't offer the Hemi or Hurricane engines in the limited trim!
Well Ford makes the coyote so that’s off the table
Whoops I meant the hurricane
@@mikeaiken4330 oh gotchu, I can def see them put in the hurricane engine since they’re putting that into a lot of vehicles
I'm holding out buying one for now hoping they do starting using the Hurricane. That would be sick.
This has a comfy ride, but the v6 is too weak for this size of a suv- felt like it was straining every time
Easily solved by going for the 5.7L Hemi V8.
For $10000+ less, I'd get a Traverse. More horsepower, bigger trunk, more 3rd row space, less USBs though.
Quality doesn’t feel as premium as this car.
But only tows 5000 lbs vs 6200 for Grand Cherokee
