So I've just received this set but I'm quite new to 3d decoupage [with or without the pre-cut/perforated die cut sheets....] I noticed that you offset the layers a bit but not every single one is offset, how do you choose which to offset [and which to just layer exactly on top of the previous layer?] Or do you offset EVERY single layer just a tad? (It's so that it looks like the object - in this case the containers and bouquets- are ACTUALLY "coming towards you" from the page.. is that right?) & I've also noticed that people using different "sticky stuff" - meaning 3d foam tape/squares/dots/etc. and/or silicone adhesive (I THINK that's what the other person with this set used) how do you know which to use where?
SOOOOOOO SORRY! Like I said before, I'm quite there novice when it comes to 3d decoupage art and images!!

Hello, we are pleased you have started your 3d decoupage journey 😀 the idea is not to offset the layers. As the layers get smaller the stacking effect should give that 3D look you're after. And yes, to maximise this look you should be using with foam pads or similar. You just need enough to support the size of the shape. So smaller pieces may only need on in the centre whilst larger will need some support around the edges to make sure the layer stays well above the previous layer. The more you do this kind of thing, the more you will get a feel for how many to use. We hope you have fun!
