Its quite fascinating hearing such a strong, different accent.
This card looks lovely 😍
I just brought those exact napkins. I hadn't decided how to use them. Talk about serendipity 😊
Really beautiful. I had no idea you could shape the butterfly while it’s still warm from embossing & that it would stay! That’s amazing. Can’t wait to see the other videos using this napkin, it’s gorgeous.
Love this. Butterflies are my favorite thing and I know I have napkins with butterflies on them. Going to try this NOW!! Lol!! Hugs. 💖🦋💖🦋
Lovely! I have done this, but I used a glue stick on top of the napkin. It was a nice way to add texture. I would lay the glue stick down in circles to reinforce the flowers, Or use it in the direction of a bird's wing. That is after I go over the whole napkin. I let it dry overnight. And, they will burn easily, so be careful when using your heat gun on the napkin. Thank you for sharing this today!
Gorgeous card, I love how you used products we may already have or basic supplies instead of “pushing “ all the new products. Don’t get me wrong, I love seeing the new products but sometimes we forget about the stuff we already have
Couldnt agree more
Yes! For making use of what we have.
Agree totally!
Beautiful card! I love using Napkins.
Napkin backgrounds are so fun. If you are doing several at a time, the easiest way is using saran wrap as the 'medium' and ironing the napkin onto the card with the saran wrap in the middle. You just have to use some parchment paper on top to keep your iron from getting plastic melted on it.
Beautiful napkins you have! It's almost a pity to cut it in pieces. Perhaps also beautiful for a slimline card.
Great tip for standing up the butterfly.
Thanks for this lovely card. 🌹
Love this! Very shabby chic. Pretty napkins.
Nice card! I love using napkins for my cards.😊😊
You make everything look so easy. You are very very talented.
Great card and love the extra butterfly too
As you put the brown around the edges, I thought that is the perfect finishing touch. Definitely benefited from that little touch.
I have some napkins left from last year, I feel a craft day coming on. :)
That is simply gorgeous, Natasha !😊
Beautiful napkin. I have never used this technique. Time to give it a try. Thanks for sharing
Your card is beautiful. Only just found your videos but will certainly be trying out the napkin card.
Love that napkin card.
That card is beautiful! The way I learned to adhere the napkin to the cardstock was with plastic wrap and an iron. The iron melts the plastic wrap and makes sure that you have no creases in your napkin at the same time. Since the plastic wrap completely covers the cardstock and the napkin it makes for a great bond.
ymarkone that was how I was shown about 6 years ago but this method looks so much easier, I’ll certainly give it ago
Never heard of that wsy, can't wait to try it... thank you
That's something i didn't know 😊
Great idea!!
@ymarkone, the way you're doing it is called decoupage 😊
Anyone would be thrilled to receive this beautiful card
Very clever use of napkins!
Gorgeous ... vibrant colours. I will purchase some paper napkins and give it a go. Thank you!
What a quick and effective way to achieve a beautiful background. Nice to see some of these "old" techniques being brought back to life. Lovely card Tash.
Gorgeous napkin! Great card!
I am in love with this technique....... going to try it tonight
Well that's definitely different!! Thanks for sharing 👍
Beautiful card and wonderful video! Many thanks.
So pretty. There are so many napkins available that would make such pretty cards. Thanks for showing how to do this.
That is so special. I have been saving a napkin I like so am going to give it a go!
This is great. Looks very fancy but wasn’t difficult. Love vintage cards, so this is fabulous. Ty!
Just beautiful! Thank you for sharing technique!
I love the simplicity of this card. I have previously seen cards using napkins, but they were much more involved. Your technique is amazing. Stunning card, from so little. Thankyou so much for sharing.
Hi Natasha! Been following you- but LOVE your decoupage tutorials- I always learn something new. I use the cricut to iron my napkins to cardstock & works on thinest to heaviest grade- also love to make embellishments from napkins- it is SO EASY to embellish & Layer with pieces & if a gloss or satin finish is used- I even use napkins in my Bible. I also recommend Napkin decoupage on 6x8 canvases- which I have combined with acryic paints..I also recommend Royal Coat satin finish- never a problem- not tacky & always smooth & clear finish. Hugs from NY!
Beautiful card Natasha, thank you xxx
Whoa! What beautiful napkins. The card turned out so gorgeous.
First card I ever made was done with this way 35 years ago . Still is great and yours is fantastic

Great card...love the inspiration you always bring! I’ve done similar technique & found masking/washi tape so helpful in separating layers of napkin ....applying tape to the back side of napkin & gently pulling apart. Thanks for all the wonderful videos. ♥️
