FullTimeSlacker but who beat the guardian is the real question? The guardian decimated Jack, made no sense tho he was guarding the portal for Jack to use sometime in the future but never did get to because he lost and presumably died to the attacker so Jack never got to use it which kinda seemed stupid he could've just let Jack through knowing he was the on to save them from Aku but instead he just sent him away.

Not that we may not be bothered by said flaws, but that we may approach them with the right mindset to fix them.
Honestly it gives me anxiety and fear. I love it, I keep coming back for this, its one of the most blood curdling things in fiction for me to see Jack, a man so in control cry out in pure bloodlust.
I love how from 3:30 on you can barely tell them apart at all. Their robes are the same, their wounds are 99% the same, and their hair is free. It’s the perfect symbolism for how Jack’s hatred is consuming himself.
Yeah, this evil Jack got NOTHING on the inner/ past Jack of season 5!!! Granted if Aku try to pulled the same trick in season 5 (manifest inner/ past Jack in phyiscal form) then it will be a bloodfest fight!
Not to mention, Jack had a cavalcade of other negative emotions swirling around inside his mind. The Jack he first saw when he was trying to avoid the daughters and saw the Green Samurai was him trying to survive while also considering just letting himself die and end it all. The second Jack hallucination was his guilt for bringing harm to/murdering another living creature coupled with his fear and anxiety knowing that he’ll have to kill again. The hallucination Jack saw when he and Ashi were inside of that giant monster was his irritation at her for being a hindrance and contemplating just letting her die or leave her somewhere she couldn’t escape. I honestly like how they scream at each other before the attack giving the symbolism of the "Kyai" technique the samurai used to spook and confuse the opponent before the blow landed.
I feel it’s interesting in that this scene teaches to never fall to your dark side or anger but often times it’s hard we don’t realize when we act or lash out but if we know when to be angry and how to avoid destructive damage you are one with yourself that is what mad jack represents now and after jack loses his sword it shows that he must be careful to never get over confident as here it is used against him almost but if he continued to walk that path he eventually becomes almost like his anger within.
I love how the “evil jack” aims for the shoulders which is a non-lethal way to end a fight but the “good jack” aims for the head immediately

Afro: you fought your clone.
Jack:yes.
Afro: welcome to the club.
Evil Jack: You’re so stupid. You are you also.
Jack: _So it’s a same type a stand as myself._
I love how they muted the colors towards the end so you could barely tell which one was who. I think this was symbolically meant to say that Jack could have easily been consumed by hatred and become just like his evil counterpart. A bit of foreshadowing of the final season, if you think about it.
The only difference was the shading of their eye lids
@@scribblerstudios9895 nope, sorry you're blind
@@Slazors check again. The one going right to left has darker shadows under his eyes compared to the one going left to right.
@@scribblerstudios9895 yeah uhh, sorry again that you're blind. I wish you the best!
@@Slazors faaaaairly certain I'm not. I may need glasses but I ain't blind. However I'm not gonna get into a debate about lighting choices. Believe what you will
it's also interesting how both of their state of mind reversed, OG Jack started fighting more aggressively while Evil Jack started to calm down, in the end they reached the same state of mind balancing out and just going at each other like a dance
I love the voice Phil LaMarr used for Mad Jack.
Imagine sword fighting so hard you set a forest on fire.
Anyone else love the ominous music that plays when Mad Jack appears?
Bro I looked away and then I thought Jack was on that Zaza💀
Mad Jack is back in season 5, he just not in physical form =)))
I honestly like how they scream at each other before the attack giving the symbolism of the "Kyai" technique the samurai used to spook and confuse the opponent before the blow landed.

Let’s take “stop hitting yourself” to the next level.
you've managed to remaster some clips from previous seasons...
_now we need extra thicc remastered, please_
When a man dedicated to inner peace cries with desire to kill, that’s when you know you fucked up.
How to make an evil opposite character:
1: make him look like him in almost every way;
2: make him wear black and red.
Good Samurai Jack vs Evil Samurai Jack. Man, that's very INSANELY.
"Who are you?"
"Yuu."
"No, not me, you!"
"Yes, I'm Yuu."

When you step on a Lego at 2AM
Also your brother steps on one too at the exact same time
Evil Jack looks like he smoked a shitload of weed for his eyes to be that red.😂
Lol, I love it.
I just rewatched this episode and was reminded of how timeless and powerful this message is. Especially with that’s going on today ...
