      No TNG era Starfleet didn’t believe in warships. Tos federation remembered they had to be ready. After the Klingons became friends they thought all threats were over so decided to basically hold back. Not fully disarm their ships but not focus on full on battleships until wolf 359

    • @Daginni1
      @Daginni1 13 часов назад

      @@SuperGamefreak18 Yeah, TNG was about arrogance. Just because you please you are a peaceful organization doesnt mean that others do. Q shows up and shows them what is out there and that their arrogance will be their downfall.

    I quite appreciate how you adjusted the STO version of this, which is more Odyssey-esque in terms of livery and perceived technology, and made it come along a little bit earlier than that, perhaps as an evolutionary step between them which would make sense

    • @TriAngulumAudioStudios

    Great job as usual my friend.
    This is definitely an interesting design for sure. The nacelle design is interesting and a unique choice. I like how the ships armor is based off the future Voyager armor and it has transphasic torpedoes.
    By the way at 4:04 if you pause it and look from the back of the saucer then trace around the diameter of the saucer it is the shape of the Millennium Falcon. I looked at it and I was all, "That's the Falcon!" lol.

    I really beautiful ship, especially from the top down. The smooth teardrop shape is stunning and the diamond shape at the back of the saucer is an amazing bit of detail. and even though the saucer merges smoothly into the secondary hull... there is something that reminds me of the Parliament Class. The twin nacelles and broad pylons and unusual but they work perfectly with the rest of the design. My only issue is the sheet size of the deflector, it feels very exposed.

  • @edfrawley4356

    A pure battleship needs to have 3 separate warp cores One each for powering the warp drive, one for shields and one for weapons. power conduits need to be stout enough to handle the entire power output of a warp core plus a margin for overloads and a hit on a weapon or shield emitter would only affect that individual unit instead of taking out an entire system.
    Warp nacelles also need to have physical shielding that can be deployed during battle to prevent being damaged to the point where escape or pursuit is impossible. Ok what did I miss?

    • @TriAngulumAudioStudios
      @TriAngulumAudioStudios  48 минут назад

      You missed the fact that your whole idea wouldn't work in the Trek Universe. Canon has already explained that the reason there ARENT multiple warp cores is not because of power conduits or anything, but because the power generated by such cores has no where to go... A single core can exhaust excess power through use of the rest of the ships systems, but multiple cores is just to much power and would cause a warp core breach... It would be like you attempting to power your cellphone directly from a nuclear core... It would immediately destroy your phone... So sorry, good try but you have nothing here at all... And you might want to read up on all the Trek Tech Manuals to better understand how things work in the Trek Universe!
